When we called XXXX, we were told that " for some reason '' a welcome letter had not been sent, so we asked for it. Also, to-date, XXXX is unresponsive, about why they did n't pre-tell us that this change was to occur ( and who they sold it to, so we could make the necessary auto-pay changes )

Complaint: I work for a title company. We ordered a payoff from Round Point Mortgage. We got the payoff, which was good through XXXX/XXXX/16. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 we wired the funds to Round Point per their wire instructions to payoff the loan in full. We have full confirmation that the wire was sent and I have verified the wire information given to me by Round Point. Round Point has not credited the account with the payoff, they are continuing to collect payments and charge interest on the loan. The Borrower and I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with them just to be put on hold and then cut off. They are not helping to resolve this issue. Even though we have given them copies of the wire confirmation, the payoff statement, our bank account statement they are still saying that they did not receive the payment. I have also spoken to a supervisor and he is at least a little more helpful, but not solving the problem. The borrow refinanced this loan, and has his first payment coming due on XXXX XXXX, and because Round Point will not resolve this issue in a timely fashion, he does not have the funds to make the first payment

Complaint: I have been trying to complete a short sale with Roundpoint mortgage for over 2 years. They continue to stall and keep asking for more documents. I finally completed all their document requests as of XXXX XXXX. I was told they have a " complete package '' that was submitted to " processing dept ''. I was told they would make a decision in 30 days.. It has been 47 days and they still will not make a decision. I have a cash buyer that will not wait much longer. This is my XXXX cash buyer. All other cash buyers have walked due to the delays from Roundpoint.Their last excuse was the the buyer 's name was not spelled correctly. I feel that I am not being treated fairly and they should not take this long to approve or reject my short sale request.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX My husband was laid-off from his job. We called the mortgage company to see if there was any way we could pay the interest basically if there was anything we could do because we could not pay the loan. We were instructed to submit the Borrowers assistance application. All paperwork was submitted before XX/XX/XXXX. My husband started a new job XX/XX/XXXX. Around this time we received a letter from the mortgage company stating we were eligible for a 3 month forbearance program. At this point we had not paid the XX/XX/XXXX note. The forbearance was from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Once we received my husbands first check I attempted to make a payment online and the system would not allow the payment. At this point I contacted the Mortgage company to try to make the payment I was told because we were in the forbearance program I would not be able to make the payment until the program was complete. My husband was laid off again XX/XX/XXXX and found another job for less money XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. I contacted the mortgage company XX/XX/XXXX to see what our options would be for repayment. She told me I had to submit the borrow assistance application again with the recent month check stubs. I told her my husband had recently got another job and I only had XXXX check stub at that point. She told me I would have to wait to submit. I resubmitted our application XX/XX/XXXX I received letters 3 times on info that was not provided with the application. I submitted the info immediately. On XXXX XXXX we received our evaluation summary from the mortgage company stating the only program we would be eligible for is short sale or deed in lieu of foreclosure. The only other option would be to pay the XXXX we are behind. My husband spoke to someone with the mortgage company on XXXX XXXX and was advised to resubmit our application with the changes we have recently made on some of our other bills. And I did n't realize when I submitted the paperwork in XX/XX/XXXX that I did n't include my husbands truck allowance. I resubmitted by XXXX through email on XXXX XXXX. When we got home on XXXX XXXX we had a notice of default and intent to accelerate letter in the mail dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. This letter states we have until XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to bring the mortgage current to avoid foreclosure. We also received a notice of a certified letter that no one was home to sign for. We was told the forbearance was the only program available to us. We was also under the impression that they would work with us to get this account up to date once it was done. In this time our credit score has dropped from upper XXXX 's to lower XXXX 's which we did not realize would happen since we were working with them. All we want is for the mortgage company to not take advantage of us in this situation. We do not want to lose our home. They were very misleading about the end result of this program.

Complaint: I have a fixed rate conventional mortgage signed on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. This loan had a monthly PMI and with this I have my 'NOTICE CONCERNING PRIVATE MORTGAGE INSURANCE - INITIAL DISCLOSURE - FIXED RATE MORTGAGES '. There is an 'AUTOMATIC TERMINATION OF PMI ' clause on this disclosure. The automatic termination date was XXXX XXXX. Roundpoint Mortgage has refused to acknowledge this and will not terminate the monthly MIP nor will they refund all the unearned PMI premiums that I have paid since then. I have made EVERY PAYMENT ON TIME. I have been in the mortgage loan business since XXXX and I know the guidelines and when a Lender/Servicer is being less than honest. I have called and requested to speak to someone about this I was told I have to submit a request in writing. I did that and also sent a copy of my disclosure and request for a refund for the months I have paid sine XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have since been told by RoundPoint that I need to get an appraisal first to verify that my loan is indeed at 80 %. I have been told by them that I do not need an appraisal because my PMI will terminate in XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have been told by them that It will terminate in XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I have asked several times to speak with a supervisor and have never been given one. I have been places on hold for HOURS after asking for a supervisor and of course no one ever picked up the phone. This is frustrating to say the least. I have never been treated do poorly by a company that I felt the need to file an official complaint.

Complaint: I refinanced my home. I contacted the original mortgage company for disbursement of my escrow funds. I was told that they do not disburse the funds until eleven business days after the closing. I was told that this is consistent with federal guidelines. I paid a title company to handle all relevant issues regarding this transaction. I believe that this is an illegal taking and a provision of some federal regulation that apparently allows this company to keep my funds for an inordinate amount of time.

Complaint: We sold our home and the mortgage was paid off through XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/16. Several weeks later I was contacted via phone by Round Point Mortgage saying I owed them an additional {$400.00}, that the pay off had been short. I contacted the title company and they requested something in writing to show the shorted amount so it could be paid. Round point would only tell them to wire the money to the same place as the rest of the pay off but would not submit any proof of the shortage. Both myself and the title company have made multiple attempts to get speak with the mortgage company. Usually being on hold for near an hour at a time. They will not send me my escrow balance. Per the attached documents you can see the the loan was paid in full. My escrow account has a balance of {$1600.00} and a month after the loan was paid they are trying to take money from my escrow balance to pay principal and interest in the month of XXXX when there is no loan to pay on. I am seeking help in getting the full balance of my impound account.

Complaint: I financed a home with Roundpoint Mortgage in 2015 and subsequently refinanced with XXXX XXXX XXXX for a better offer. XXXX XXXX XXXX requested a payoff in XXXX and after going through the normal refinance process, XXXX XXXX XXXX paid the amount stated on the payoff statement generated by Roundpoint Mortgage. In the middle ( or so ) of XXXX 2015 I got a letter from Roundpoint Mortgage stating that my payoff was short and that I still owed roughly {$4000.00} and when I inquired ( over several months of trying to hash this out ) I received conflicting stories. I went back to the title company to inquire as to what happened and they were uncertain given that they transmitted precisely what the payoff requested. In short, it was only later that we all found out that Roundpoint Mortgage paid my taxes and insurance ( which they should have ), but admitted that they erred in not including the escrow account in the payoff statement and subsequently they blamed the title company. Both the title company and Roundpoint have washed their hands of the matter pointing the finger at me to pay on a house that I do n't even own anymore ( it was sold with a clean title ). Bottom line is these clowns are ruining my credit instead of owning up to the omission on their part. I even went so far as to suggest we ( myself, the title company and Roundpoint ) split what they feel is owed so we can wash our hands of the matter and Roundpoint said no - pay up, its not our fault the escrow account was n't included in the payoff and even we n't so far as to send me a caveat they have on all payoff statements that fundamentally states that they reserve the right to skim off the payoff received to cover any shortages ... fine, but should n't they have at least notified all parties involved instead of shorting the payoff and them coming back as if we all were in the know?

I have a cash buyer and have submitted all the required paperwork to Roundpoint Mortgage and they will not tell me if the short sale is approved. I spent over 30 days submitting every document they asked for. Complaint: The reported no payments were court ordered as the foreclosure process was illegal and invalidated the Promissory Note and Deed of Trust is inaccurate because the court ruled in our favor declaring the aforementioned actions as illegal and thus voiding the lien. I am requesting that the item be removed or updated to show paid in full to correct the information. Another part of the case involved the Mortgage Broker that was illegally brokering Mortgages without a license in the State of Texas through XXXX XXXX XXXX. The mortgage began XX/XX/2008 and involved XXXX lawsuits before final judgment was passed against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Texas and their leaning to Accelerate the loan and all our possessions which is illegal in the State of Texas. Roundpoint Mortgage Servicers is the company, along with XXXX that put the pressure on us and refused to speak with me, the third person on the mortgage simply because it did n't fit their paperwork system. I have challenged this through the credit bureaus three times now and RoundPoint refuses to close this and wipe the slate clean. This is doing irreparable harm to me as a XXXX veteran health wise and financially.
