Debt was paid
Complaint: Receivable Performance Management LLC was hired to collect on a debt that has already been resolved by the previous collection agency and XXXX. The debt was removed from my credit file well over one year ago because it was determined frivolous. After the resolution, XXXX hired another agency to continue to harass me for a debt that has already been resolved. The debt was forgiven due to poor service. I lost money and had to go to a different carrier because of poor service when I had XXXX 2 years ago. I am not going to pay on something that was already resolved.

Right to dispute notice not received
Complaint: Receivables Performance Management ( RPM ) placed an item on my credit report without my knowledge as a collections account. I have no idea who they are nor do I owe any alleged debt with them. I called them on XXXX XXXX, 2016 at XXXX PST and they abusively hung up on me twice. I was inquiring as to why they placed a collections account without prior notification nor any notice to dispute, the collections agents were rude and hostile when I called them in flagrant violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. RPM is flagrantly violating the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act with their abusive and hostile debt collections practices. I recorded all the phone calls with them including when they hung up on me twice in an abusive and hostile manner.

Debt was paid
Complaint: I settled an old credit card account. We agreed on a payoff amount on certain date. I have the letter stating the agreement. The amount was paid, taken from my checking account on the date agreed upon. 3 months later I am getting calls from other collection agencies trying to get the balance of this same account. I have called the collection agency that I worked with initially and they were supposed to send me letter stating this was paid in settlement agreement. They will not send the document and it is still showing on my credit report as balance owed

Debt was paid
Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/2016 I filed a complain through CFPB against RPM for reporting a collection on my credit report. The original creditor was XXXX and after paying a debt that I owed, XXXX informed me that this account would not be listed anywhere on my credit report, but it was showing on my credit report as a collection. After filing a complaint with CFPB, Receivables Performance Management LLC responded to me with the following statement.
" Upon receipt of this complaint, RPM contacted XXXX who confirmed that the account was properly placed for collection and had since been paid in full. XXXX has requested that RPM remove the account tradeline as a courtesy to XXXX XXXX.
RPM appreciates the opportunity to respond to this matter and resolve it to XXXX XXXX 's satisfaction. If you have questions regarding RPM 's handling of this matter or if I may be of further assistance to XXXX XXXX please contact me directly at ( XXXX ) XXXX.
Very Truly Yours, XXXX XXXX XXXX General Counsel '' It has been over 30 days and this company still has NOT removed this item from my XXXX report. I am trying to close on a home loan and this collection showing on my report is affecting me tremendously. I have attached documentation from both XXXX and RPM of where this item should have been removed.

Debt is not mine
Complaint: Initially, I received a call from Receivables Performance Management. They only stated their name and asked for me to verify my identity. Unsure of the nature of their business, I asked what kind of business they conduct and told them I did n't feel comfortable disclosing my identity through sensitive information without knowing who they are as a company. They refused and said they could n't legally disclose that due to privacy issues. This seemed suspect to me so I refused and hung up.
I called XXXX XXXX because I had just closed an account with them to see if there was any connection. After a conversation with a customer care representative, it was discovered that a {$49.00} charge was in error and that I had a zero balance. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I received an email stating that my balance was zero and that " A request was already sent to update your account to the Outside Collections Agency. Please be advised that it will take within thirty days to update. '' On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I was notified by XXXX that a new collection had been added to my XXXX credit report in the amount of {$49.00} from Receivables Performance Management.
I attempted to call Receivables Performance Management, but there was no answer after numerous rings ... not even a selection menu. No answer at all. I then called the billing department at XXXX XXXX and was transferred to an " account specialist ''. I explained my situation and asked them to rectify things with the collection agency with whom they have chosen to align ... communicating my frustration with how this collection agency either broke the law, or was operating on the fringes of the law.
XXXX XXXX effectively stated that they could do nothing to remove the inaccurate credit report addition but resend the same information that they had sent in XXXX. Receivables Performance Management does n't answer their phone. This is the reason for my complaint with the CFPB.
I could have an attorney send a letter stating which law the collections company is violating, but out of principle I should n't have to pay an attorney fee to fix this.

Debt was paid
Complaint: I terminated my XXXX XXXX account due to a better deal I received from XXXX. XXXX sent me a bill indicating I have a credit of {$25.00}. I then had their network equipment sent back.
After about a month, XXXX sent me a bill of {$140.00}. I returned the bill indicating the service was already disconnected. After about another month, we were receiving calls from private callers and/or caller IDs with XXXX*. When we try to answer the call, they will always hang up. When we enabled voice mail, the callers will hang up or leave a continuous tone on the machine.
We stopped receiving these calls on XXXX XXXX, the first day of the XXXX strike. I noticed that my XXXX score went down from " XXXX '' to " XXXX '' due to a " derogatory '' record from the " unpaid '' XXXX bill.
I would appreciate your help in this matter.
Thank you for your efforts.
Respectfully, XXXX XXXX
