Debt is not mine
Complaint: On or about XX/XX/XXXX, my phone with XXXX service was lost/stolen. I called XXXX to alert them of this fact and cancelled my service. The representative acknowledged that my service was cancelled. There was no contract.
My credit card was charged ( {$85.00} ) for service from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. There was no charge to my credit card for the period XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. Then, my credit card was again charged ( {$85.00} ) for the period XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX I had not resumed any service with XXXX for these time periods.
I went to the XXXX Ohio XXXX store to straighten out these billing errors. The store manager at that time was XXXX and he and another employee XXXX, called the billing dept to straighten out this issue. They talked to a representative for about one-half hour and told me that possibly they had been able to resolve this issue but were not certain.
So, I contacted my credit card and told them I was disputing the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX charges. Subsequently, my credit card company sent me a notice stating " ... the credit card dispute with XXXX has been resolved. The credit we issued to you ... will remain on your account. '' Thus, the erroneous charges were credited out of my account and XXXX at that time acknowledged that no charge should have been made.
Beginning on XX/XX/XXXX, I have received four or five debt collection letters from XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ), XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ), XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and Receivables Preferred Management ( 10/08/16 ). In each instance I have sent the above information to each within the time period required. But the only result I have had is that this non-debt is sent to another company or affiliate.

Not given enough info to verify debt
Complaint: XXXX has submitted my account to the RPM ( Receivables Performance Management LLC ) collection agency after three months of dropping my phone contract. During this time, they failed to provide me with the final XXXX statement agreement of the phone charge breakdown. There is no way for me to verify the charges that I owe for each of the phones I owe under the XXXX account and therefore can not apply my rebate submission to XXXX XXXX XXXX.
To complete a refund submission, the bill from the previous carrier must include the XXXX ( XXXX ) for final processing. The credit debt agency ( RPM ) also refuses to provide me with this information as well stating that they do n't have this information on file except to provide me with the balance for the amount of {$360.00} when the original amount from XXXX was for {$310.00}.
I need verification for this account before making a payment to the credit debt agency the amount and date are insufficient information. How can this get resolved?

When I received call from collection agency then I try to reach them many times to resolve the problem, talked to XXXX also that why they did not contact me. That was not fair, they apologize on phone. I wanted to pay if I owed, I asked Receivables Performance to send me information about debt. They sent me an email on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, its attached, they gave me time until XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I called back and Paid {$300.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX statement is attached ) they took money from my account on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. The other payment was scheduled on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX for {$290.00} as we agreed to settle that case. On Monady XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I checked my credit report at credit check total website, my credit score was XXXX points lower. Negative report was on my file. XXXX XXXX was Paid on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and they reported to credit bureau after getting payment and after resolution, they have ruined my credit history. I called Performance and requested them to help me and to call credit Bureau so they can remove, as there was no reason to report. I mentioned them that I need to buy XXXX van for my son is on XXXX, he is student at XXXX university XXXX, he is also accepted at XXXX for internship in summer and need transportation to go to school and for internship. I also Paid them remaining {$290.00} today on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to complete the payment by my debt card from XXXX ( shows in attachment ). Receivable Performance do n't want to talk to me, do n't want to listen me, I have declined a loan today that I was trying to buy van for my son. They did inhuman act with me and my family, its not only credit score but this means much more to me, my son and my family in this situation. If this will show paid still there will be negative remarks in my report. I request you and beg yo to remove this remarks from my report, I have done nothing wrong, there is no any other non-payment remarks or no any collection on my creit file. Again I request XXXX please read the documents and make decision and ask Performance why they are playing game with us, they got payment and then repoted.
I called them 10 times, only 2 times XXXX lady spoke to me, she do n't feel the situation I am facing and the loss she did to me by reporting unfair negative report.

I wish the lady at Receivable Performance Management refused to remove this unfair reporting May face the same situation when she will have some in her family XXXX and then she can feel the pain, she or any other did to me. In last humble request to remove wrong reporting from credit Bureau, if I do n't get your positive response, I will go ahead and get legal help to non-stop continue for justice, you do n't have right harm and descriminate any XXXX you want.

Not given enough info to verify debt
Complaint: Receivables Performance Management ( RPM ) LLC is reporting a collections account on my credit reports for the amount of {$550.00}. The original creditor for this debt is XXXX
In early XXXX 2016, I sent a debt validation letter to RPM. ( Please see attached ). I received a response from RPM dated XXXX XXXX, 2016 which states " Upon completion of our investigation, we do not have sufficient information at this time to make a determination of the dispute. '' ( Please see attached ) I strongly believe that RPM should delete this account from my credit reports. Under the Fair Debt collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I have the right to request validation of this debt. Pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA, RPM has the statutory obligation to provide me with : Proof of my agreement to pay the original creditor ; A copy of the final account statement issued by the original creditor ; A breakdown of the total amount due, showing principal, interest and other charges ; and for all other charges, the date of and basis for each charge.
Agreement with your client that grants you the authority to collect on this alleged debt.
Verification that this debt was assigned or sold to a collector.
Complete accounting of the alleged debt.
Commission for debt collector if collection efforts are successful.
RPM has failed to provide any of the above information.
As such, I respectfully request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to intervene and request RPM to either provide the legal documentation I requested when I sought validation of this debt or remove this account from my credit reports.

Contacted me after I asked not to
Complaint: This company continues to call me for debt collection for my husband and we have been legally separated for 9 years. They called me last week and I told them that, and they called me again today. They will not tell me why they are calling me or why they have my phone number. They will not give me the name of their company. When I try to speak to a manager they disconnect me. It is harassment and I am not legally associated with this person ( my husband ) anymore.

Debt is not mine
Complaint: Due to the fact that my problem does n't truly exist in the drop down menu I will explain it myself in detail. I sent a Creditors Validation letter to Receivables Performance Managment. I had my Personal Financial Consultant XXXX to speak on my Behalf with them as well. I sent a legal authorization form to them as required. This account is a XXXX Cell phone bill that was in their office and I sent the letter for them to validate the debt in the allotted time frame given by the FDCPA which is 30 days. In my case the debt was never validated by Receivables Performance Management. Therefore, by the FDCPA and Texas FDCPA Law which state that a debt collector must be registered with the State of Texas in order to collect a debt in Texas. Receivable Performance Management is not registered with the State of Texas. Also, I know that a Debt Buy can not hire another debt collector to collect for them in Texas therefore this debt can not be transferred to another collection company. Therefore, this debt should be removed from out of the office of Receivables Performance Management.
I have never open a joint account with XXXX in my name ever. This is a fraud account open and needs to be removed from my credit report.
