Complaint: I received correspondence from Central Credit Services LLC dated XXXX XXXX, 2015, XXXX XXXX XXXX about a debt to XXXX for {$110.00}. I had no idea that I owed this, as this was the very first thing I have received about this debt. In this paperwork it stated that if no payment was made that this would be reported to the credit bereau in 45 days. I made one payment on XXXX XXXX, 2015 for {$25.00} and was just about to make another payment when I received an alert from XXXX XXXX which alerted me to this being reported. This should have never been reported since I made a payment before the 45 day period had ended. I contacted this collection agency twice about getting this removed from my credit reports and both times I was denied. I paid the balance owed on XXXX XXXX, 2015 which was {$94.00}. My point here is I made a payment before the 45 day period ended and if you really want to get technical I paid the entire balance within the 45 day period. 45 days from XXXX XXXX is XXXX XXXX. I feel I am being treated unfairly and I would like this removed from my XXXX, XXXX & XXXX reports.

Complaint: My credit is being harmed by a collection agency that is reporting a disputed debt.
The issue stems from a 3-month series of billing errors that my current phone/internet/XXXX provider made when we switched our service to them last year ( XXXX 2014 ). Throughout the time that the billings were in error, XXXX advised me to not make the payment while they corrected the issue however they never actually got it fixed. When they finally combined my payments onto a single bill ( which is what they were supposed to have done from the beginning ), they sent me a separate bill for one portion of the service and refused to provide a breakdown of what the billing represented. As the total amount shown was equal to the amounts I had been billed during the 3 months that the bills were in error ( and did not include the " bundle '' discounts I was supposed to get ), I advised CenturyLink that the bill was disputed until they could get it corrected - they appear to have responded by sending it to a collection agency.
When I received their bill I notified the collection agency that the bill was disputed because the creditor refuses to provide a breakdown of charges ( which I know are wrong ). The collection agency subsequently sent me a copy of the erroneous billing, marked as a duplicate and showing an address in XXXX ( I am in XXXX ), which does not include any information other than the disputed amount.
I contacted the collection agency and advised that the billing remains disputed because it 1 ) does not list what I am being charged for or 2 ) include the discounts that were the source of the initial dispute. Their agent stated that they considered the bill validated and were reporting it as a collection item. My credit monitoring service subsequently notified me that my score has dropped.
I experienced a job loss several years ago and my credit suffered as a result. It has taken me a long time to rebuild and I am very upset that this collection agency is trying to erase all that hard work.
I have submitted a complaint to the FCC as well, in the hope that they can get XXXX to correct their erroneous billing - please help me get the collection agency to stop harming me - my efforts to convince them that the billing is wrong ( and should not be paid ) have not been successful.

Complaint: We get daily calls from phone number XXXX. They claim to be from a debt collection agency 'Central Credit Services '. They instruct us to call a different number ( XXXX ). We do not owe a penny to anyone and have an excellent credit score to prove it. I just want these calls to stop. I am afraid to call the XXXX number because I have read online that it is a scam to obtain personal information. We have had the same telephone number for XXXX years so I find it hard to believe it is an innocent mistake.

Talked to a third party about my debt
Complaint: I am not the person that owe this debt. They are contacting me on my work number and leaving a message on my voicemail ( where I say my name ). However, they state the person 's name they are trying to collect the debt from in the voicemail. I believe this is breaking soem sort of privacy protection laws under the FDCPA by leaving a message about someone 's debt on a voicemail that clearly does not belong to that individual.

Complaint: I had XXXX work at XXXX XXXX of XXXX in XXXX 2014. I paid my part in full before the procedure. They failed to do the insurance paperwork and they kept sending me bills for the part covered by insurance. I contacted them and the apologized and gave some excuses about the issue ( which I do n't think was the case ).
After a while I received a letter from Debt Collector.
I contacted debt collection agency and the dentist office to resolve the issue but it did n't work. I contacted the insurance company and took care of the issue myself and had them send the doctor the check.
Insurance company record shows that the doctor has cashed the check. After receiving calls from debt collector I contacted the doctor again and doctor 's secretary apologized for the problem affirming I never have outstanding balance. ( all email correspondence attached XXXX But the debt collection agency keeps calling me and they say their client XXXX dentist ) says they have never received any payment, and they continue their harassment after a year.

I called XXXX to double check that I did indeed pay my bill and received confirmation that I did in fact pay them in full and do not owe them anything. Complaint: I have received MANY phone calls by unknown numbers, often at early hours of the day. ( XXXX may be reasonable to lawmakers, but is ridiculous to me ). These come to both my home and cell numbers. Sometimes these calls can come XXXX times within a XXXX minute time-span. This is ridiculous and unacceptable, hence this complaint. Because I do not know the number, I have no reason to pick up. They should leave a voicemail message, identifying themselves and who they are calling for. This information is never provided. I answered XXXX of these calls from yet another unknown number ( this time at least a company name showed up on caller ID : XXXX XXXX ). The caller let me know this number was listed as an alternate number for my brother. Ok. That 's fine. I can take/deliver a message. Then the caller continued to say that they have been trying to reach him for a long time. I told the caller this is the XXXX message I have received. If a message is not left, this is the XXXX attempt to contact my brother at this number. Then I found out that this company is the one that has been calling and hanging up, with no voice mail message, which has been disruptive and harassing to me. This is NOT ok.
The caller 's response was that they are not permitted to leave a message on voice mail, by law.
1 ) if this is true, then the FTC needs to revise the law. I am sure this harassment is happening to other consumers, not just me. I am a law abiding consumer with great credit. I am willing to be the alternate contact for my brother and work with him to help find resolution, if that is what 's needed. However, the harassing phone calls are inexcusable!!! The credit collection company must be able to leave some kind of message.
2 ) if this is not true and the company is allowed to leave a voice mail message, but instead instructs their employees to frequently dial numbers and hang up until someone picks up, then my complaint is against Central Credit Services. This practice is NOT ok. There must be some way to respect the people at the other end of the phone line ( including responsible consumers like me ) with basic information that does not give out confidential information. Perhaps a message stating " my name is XXXX from XXXX company. I am trying to reach so and so regarding a personal matter. Please call XXXX stating reference number XXXX. " There must be a way to protect responsible consumers, while still allowing the credit collection companies to function.

Trouble with how payments are handled
Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/2015 at approximately XXXX, I called Central Credit Servcies LLC at XXXX to make a couple payments ahead on my account. The lady that answered sounded like she had difficulty looking up my account. I had to give her my social security number about XXXX times for her to get it clear. Then she acted like she could n't find my account. I 've called before and they have it up on the screen where all I have to do is verify it. Then she said I have to CALL MONDAY to figure out what happened to my account. She asked for my account number, I gave it to her and she hung up. I was n't rude and do not understand why I was treated like this. I understand it was close to then end of business hours but had she not procrastinated, the payments would have been made. I take her actions as payment refusal and feel Central Credit Services LLC should free me from my loan. I called to make a payment and was refused.

Complaint: I 've been contacted recently by a Debt Collector with the most smelly attitude on earth weeks ago, the. She recently contacted me again threatening me that I have til the XXXX to pay my overdraft of {$120.00} from XXXX bank. But when I received the letter last week Monday, XXXX XXXX the letter informed that I have 30 days. But having her contact me knowing that I am in school at the age of XXXX trying to pursue my career especially off of a different number with a local area code is really rude of her to do so with the same attitude. I tried to inform her to do not call me anymore but she hung up the phone. Which is really unprofessional -- she needs to go back to school and pay her own debts.
