Complaint: 2010 I modified a mortgage loan. Caught up XXXX payments w/ American General. They lowered my interest rate XXXX. After I got divorced, XXXX again I wanted to modify my loan thinking I could get a lower interest rate catching up XXXX payments. I got my signature notarized at my local bank and sent XXXX now Springleaf ) papers. Thinking they XXXX again lowered my interest rate cause my payments were lower. They had taken away seven years of payments and put it back to 20 years. I told them it was n't right and I did n't realize they took away 7 years of payments at XXXX a month and I 'd sue them. The next month Springleaf sold my Mortgage to XXXX.

Although tenants in common can own unequal interests, unless agreed otherwise in writing all tenants in common have an equal right to possess and use the entire jointly owned property. No co-tenant may exclude any other co-tenant from any part of the jointly owned property. Because all owners have an equal right to occupy and use the entire property, no tenant in common may collect rent from another co-tenant.

Complaint: I took out a Loan with XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX with a credit Limit of XXXX dollars. I paid faithfully until XXXX when the entire company disappeared. During the entire payment cycle with XXXX the principle somehow never went down. I paid at least a hundred a month for 4 years and they would credit it late or tack on some fee. It was horrible. I heard nothing from these thieves and without a place to pay, I just quit figuring that they would eventually tell me if I owed them. XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by a business called Springleaf Financial Service of XXXX IN and was told that they had been looking for me and mailing me offers to settle. This was absolutely not true. I have lived in the same house since XX/XX/XXXX and my contact information has n't changed except for my work phone number since that time. The collection person said that they had purchased the loan from XXXX. I told the collection person that I did not conduct business on my phone and had no idea who they were. I said if you believe I am the correct XXXX XXXX send me something that proves your claim. Springleaf Financial sent me a copy of the XX/XX/XXXX Loan Agreement. Nothing else! No Balance no payment history no balance? I do not know my rights and frankly I am afraid to deal at all with this company. The scariest part is that this revolving loan has a home equity attachment. Please help.

Complaint: Spring Leaf ( Formerly .XXXX ) had a loan on our house at XXXX , we paid every month for 180 months when the economy wen belly up in XX/XX/XXXX we called them immediately an let them know that we needed a modification, They responded by plastering forclosure notices all over the property, they kicked us out, and auctioned the property on the courthouse steps in XXXX XXXX , They robosigned the papers that is how they worked so fast. They called us up and told us that we qualified for a modification a HARP loan. trouble is they already sold the house. we moved to XXXX into a mobile home. since AGF sol the house for less than what we owned them they should have adjusted our biill accordingly, When I pulled a credit Report on XX/XX/XXXX I saw that SPRING LEAF formerly American General Finance had a balance of XXXX and Change since they admitted they made a mistake in taking our house and that we qualified for a HARP loan or modification, we feel that Spring Leaf or American General should make us whole again

Complaint: I borrowed approximately {$11000.00} from Springleaf Financial. A couple months later I made a call to pay the entire balance off. The lender told me if I would leave a small balance they would report to my credit to improve my score. I asked if the interest would be on the balance only because I no longer needed the money they lent but did want a higher score. They agreed and told me I would not owe any payments until XXXX. I paid them {$10000.00} that day leaving an {$1100.00} balance. Statements were sent with no details of interest except {$0.00} due. Now years later they want to charge me interest on the entire XXXX. In other words they want to charge over {$7000.00} interest on a balance of {$1100.00} loan.

Our records indicate the servicing responsibilities for the mortgage loan account transferred to XXXX, effective XXXX XXXX, 2014. Enclosed for your review is a copy of our Welcome Letter, dated XXXX XXXX,2014. At the time of the transfer, the mortgage loan account was next due for the XXXX XXXX, 2014 monthly installment. The Springleaf Financial Services ( Springleaf ) transaction history reflects the receipt of {$500.00} on XXXX XXXX, 2014 ; however, at the time of transfer Springleaf forwarded the partial balance amount of {$240.00}. The funds received were not enough to complete the monthly installment amount.
