Complaint: Was given a predatory loan by a predatory lender who gave me more than I asked for. I am a senior citizen that attempted to take a small {$25000.00} loan for a new roof. The bank told me to take {$50000.00} as a minimum loan and that it was a no income check. I paid my regular mortgage and this XXXX until the financial crash in XXXX. Then had XXXX and XXXX XXXX in XXXX and XXXX. XXXX recovered, I modified and am current on my first mortgage. This second mortgage is serviced by Ocwen fined XXXX XXXX by NYS for not offering customer assistance to homeowners and to aid them. Their phones rang to nowhere, when people could be reached and made offers others did not have record or honor on XXXX occasion. Mostly it was holding on the phone and being transferred to others who offered no assistance. It kept me in continual distress and hardship creditwise unable to get low interest credit if needed etc. I am current on my larger first mortgage but this loan is in default and I went into negotiation through the courts. The lawfirm did not assist and made me come to many, many meetings and finally submitted a large legal bill thinking it was hourly billing. The judge explained its a fixed fee when they enter court mediation and the lawfirm walked off for years and never assisted after that. A new law firm came in after the statute of limiations had passed and began litigation and is trying to take my home on a 2nd mortgage by quadrupling the amount I requested and doubliing the amount I took, and it was because of them the interest compounded over years not me! They never offered the assistance they were fined for by NYS as 2nd mortgage companies were encouraged to do. They are predatory and I am a XXXX who face XXXX hardships, the financial crash and XXXX illnesses. Please investigate Ocwen practices and have them reduce the doubling of my loan so that I can finally have relief from this predatory company.

Complaint: I need help ASAP! I believe I 'm in a predatory mortgage loan. I 've been trying to get out of this mortgage since I purchased my home in 2006 but, I have n't succeeded. The loan is an XXXX interest only adjustment loan with OCWEN Loan Servicing , LLC . The loan just matured last month, which means I 'm now paying principal and interest after 10 years. My mortgage has never been late until now, my monthly payment has jumped up {$940.00}. My monthly payment went from {$1500.00} to {$2500.00} starting XX/XX/XXXX. To make matters worst, OCWEN also claims there 's a escrow shortage and asking for an additional {$600.00}, which increases my monthly payment again starting this month ( XX/XX/XXXX ). My payment is now {$2500.00}. I also pay a XXXX trust monthly, which is {$700.00}. I can not afford a monthly mortgage payment now in total {$3200.00}. I contacted OCWEN by phone after receiving notice of the significant increase to my monthly mortgage payment in XX/XX/XXXX. I informed them that this payment was totally unaffordable for me and requested a loan modification. I applied for a loan modification with OCWEN in XX/XX/XXXX. After submitting all requested documentation, OCWEN denied my loan modification request reason stated because my mortgage was current. Per OCWEN, I need to be at least 30 days or more behind on my payments in order for them to possibly consider a loan modification. I 've even requested refinancing my loan with OCWEN, that was denied. OCWEN stated I was not eligible for loan refinancing and not eligible for any of the make home affordable programs, which include HARP or HAMP due to the terms of the owner of my loan. Per OCWEN, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is the owner of my mortgage and holds the note. I am at the end of my rope. I have tried everything to work with OCWEN and they have been no help to me whatsoever!! Yet, they say they are here to help in difficult times. NOT TRUE!! I run into a brick wall every time I 'm forced to deal with OCWEN. This large increase to my mortgage is now causing financial difficulties. I exhausted most of my finances to make this month 's mortgage payment. Unfortunately, I 'm facing the same situation for this month. I need some type of relief until I can find a permanent solution. I 've tried to refinance my mortgage with other lenders, such as, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX with no luck. I 've even tried my credit unions. They wo n't touch the loan because I 'm currently underwater with no equity and they do n't have other programs to help because my loan is not owned by XXXX, XXXX XXXX or FHA. I hope the CFPB can force OCWEN and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 's hand, whereas, I will either receive a loan modification or refinanced into an affordable loan. I know both have been in trouble before with mortgages. I 've worked to hard to rebuild my credit and avoided foreclosure, which I am possibly facing now. One lender suggested that I do a short sale and get out of the loan all together, which is easier said than done. I hold a clearance, which makes my situation even more difficult. Your assistance is this matter is greatly appreciated.

Complaint: My loan was transferred to Ocwen from GMAC XX/XX/XXXX. Prior to the transfer, GMAC removed our MI monthly amount. Once the loan transferred, Ocwen began charging FHA MI monthly again. I sent a letter requesting the removal of the MI. I received a response from Ocwen stating that the loan was not at XXXX % LTV and that until it was at XXXX % LTV it would be on the loan. They also stated that the automatic removal of the MI was scheduled for XXXX XXXX. The letter we received from Ocwen, in XX/XX/XXXX explained that the LTV was calculated by the higher of the XXXX either the Sales Price or the Appraisal Price. My Sale Price and appraisal amount was the same at {$77000.00} so the XXXX % LTV is {$60000.00}, which our loan hit that amount prior to the transfer in XX/XX/XXXX. Since the transfer I have requested the MI be removed again without resolution. Ocwen changed the way they calculated the LTV and says that the Loan did n't qualify as of XX/XX/XXXX and then although I called and sent letters twice in XX/XX/XXXX, they say they did n't receive letters yet they admit to speaking with me. The removal of the MI did n't happen until XX/XX/XXXX, when once again another letter was sent.

Complaint: This again is my forth case for APPEAL, each time that Ocwen responds my case is closed and will continure to open up cases until this mater is resolved. Ocwens responses are unacceptable I refuse to speak to a person in XXXX as a relationship manager that knows nothing about the USA and the mortgage. Each time Ocwen is skirting around the issues and pushes me off to someone else. The points below are still open and regarding the XXXX issue, Ocwen keeps loosing my documents and expects me to file a case of fraud. Look into this matter with your fraud department with the documents I provided to you XX/XX/XXXX. When I filed the case against the investor on complaint number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX said that I was not one of their accounts. So who owns the mortgage, EXACTLY XXXX does and is illegal in XXXX. I have XXXX claims open against Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC that need to remain open XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a request for Appeal on my loan modification.offered on XX/XX/XXXX. Since that time Ocwen has only answered some of my questions and has not since answered my appeal and provided me with a NEW loan modification. They made another request saying they did not have it in XXXX XXXX. It was again Faxed on the XXXX of XXXX XXXX and the confirmation faxed number is XXXX and XXXX at Ocwen Loan Servicing verified that they had received it. Then on XXXX XXXX, XXXX received another letter saying I needed to send proof. I then contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and they sent verification to Ocwen Loan Servicing on XXXX XXXX. Inspite of all these verifications Ocwen Loan Servicing put additional insurance on my condominium and charged me and additional {$180.00} dollars a month since XXXX XXXX. Their policy cost {$670.00} dollars which I have paid and they are still collecting {$180.00} dolllars monthy above the mortgage payment. I was advised by my attorney to contact you

Complaint: I 've had my house for 10 years now, I have XXXX mortgages and the XXXX was sold to OCWEN. I 've been paying them on time for years and XX/XX/2016 they sent me a letter stating that since the market rates have risen that so will my monthly mortgage payments. My rate was 3.875 % and OCWEN is raising it to 4.125 % but for some strange reason my payments are going from {$800.00} per month to almost {$1600.00} per month. I told OCWEN that that 's ridiculous and that I ca n't afford it since I 'm already struggling with this payment and other bills. I applied for a loan modification and they finally got back to me stating that I make enough from my monthly gross income & my 401k savings to be able to pay them. Now I see why I 've seen so many complaints about OCWEN that they 're just a call center full of money hungry crooks. I pray XXXX will deliver me from these XXXX and send me to a real mortgage company so I can keep my house.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I modified my loan with all taxes and insurance included. XX/XX/XXXX I received information from a third party stating I owed over {$10000.00} In back taxes from XX/XX/XXXX. I submitted all forms I recieved from this party to Ocwen and they told me, I had no taxes due, all taxes were paid through XX/XX/XXXX and they would submit and reach out to the private party. Well Ocwen Did absolutely nothing. I called, faxed court dates but Ocwen refused to contact the party but instead sent tax records of their disbursement to me, until I recieved a date for a strict forclosure auction date. Ocwen who still says 'all taxes are paid ' paid almost XXXX for court fees, Attorney fees and more. XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter stating my mortgage is going up XXXX. I exclaimed my issue with the company and they said my only option Is to modify the loan again. They still stand by thier word that all taxes were all paid up when the Modification went into effect in XX/XX/XXXX but do n't know why they paid twice instead of fighting or showing up in court. They also just recently denied my modification. I feel Ocwen likes to cheat innocent People from there homes. They are also giving me the run around with several ( specialist ) they call them rechedueling dates and giving false information on this lose. Nothing is being done and I 'm scared I 'm going to loose my home.

Complaint: My ex wife was rewarded our house per divorce decree XXXX %. The loan on the house is serviced through OCWEN Loan Servicing. Since the divorce was final my ex wife was able to do a modification on the loan. The application forms included her info and her income only and the modification was approved. Since then OCWEN has continuously called me on the account whenever there 's anything negative. Slow pay, no pay, or whenever she wo n't answer their calls. They call me for any and everything. Problem is that I have been completely blocked out from this account and when I call OCWEN for answers, They tell me that I do n't have access to the account because I have been removed by request from my ex wife and also protection of information security through OCWEN. This account is still being reported on my credit and there is absolutely no cooperation from OCWEN Loan Servicing. Whenever OCWEN calls me and i ask questions on why I have not been removed from the loan due to my ex wife doing a modification on the home, I ca n't get an answer. I ask OCWEN for information on the status of the loan and why are they reporting negatively on my credit after allowing her to do an approved modification, I have sent a copy of the divorce decree, and there is a submitted quick claim deed. I ca n't get any information from OCWEN after numerous attempts. I have been given the run-around on an account that 's reporting negatively on my credit. Complaint: Several years ago I had a loan modification done on my home with Ocwen loan services LLC. Apart of that was a balloon payment at the end of the loan. It would be based on the value of the house at the time and the loan had a 6.875 percent interest rate. XX/XX/XXXX I decided to refinance my house hoping to reduce the interest rate. So i contacted my bank XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2016- XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX Calif . They came by and did the appraisal of the house for XXXX XXXX. A couple of weeks later I was contacted by another appraiser wanting to appraise the house and asked who ordered the appraisal. I was told Ocwen. Since i was not contacted by Ocwen with their request i said no. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX, they contacted Ocwen and offered to send them a copy of the XX/XX/2016 appraisal for their use.Ocwen agreed and have been sent the appraisal several times. Ocwen has used every excuse possible, from " they had not received it '' to " they needed it in color ''. Now their current excuse is that " the appraisal has expired ''. It is XX/XX/XXXX and this started in XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: I expressed my frustration with trying to get HSBC Bank to honor this agreement with your office. I am writing this letter because I have fought and fought to save wife, children and myself, from homeless. HSBC Bank and its attorneys have refused to offer me an affordable modification under HAMP, nor have they inquired as to my financial, qualifications so that I may stay in my home with my family. What is the purpose of the Consent Orders in XXXX, XXXX, if the people in which were mostly affected can not enforce or receive any benefits outlined by the Comptroller? HSBC admitted in Court they did not offer me any trial modification, they admitted in court the assignment was created by the attorney XXXX XXXX who is the Plaintiff 's HSBC attorney who is employed by XXXX XXXX XXXX who falsified documents claiming to by an MERS Vice President. What good is the Consent Order agreement if it is intended to be teeth less?
