Complaint: I applied for a reverse mortgage for my Mom to stay in her condo and was approved XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. She XXXX XXXX XXXX and although we hoped her to have XXXX and get her back she was never able. During this time they guided me to what they needed and what I needed to do. Mom XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called them in XXXX and found out what was needed. XXXX XXXX, Trust, Letter of Intent, Appraisal & monthly checking in. I contacted them via fax and/or phone conversation with three different staff on XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I have all the handwritten notes supporting this. I was told a new timeline would begin not based on Mom not returning but on her XXXX which got me to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX I called for my monthly check in and was told the loan was due XXXX XXXX, XXXX based on Mom not returning. I asked for a supervisor and went over all the times and the staff who shared information on the new extension date. Her response was that the staff were either no longer with the company or were in training at the time. She would not work with me at all on their mistake. Mom 's condo was listed in the morning on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The supervisor told me unless I paid the loan by XXXX XXXX they would no longer manage the loan and it would go to a foreclosure lawyer to accept the process to begin a foreclosure. The condo sold and we closed XXXX XXXX and I ended up paying {$3300.00} to the lawyer and another {$880.00} for I do n't know what as it also was in the amount collected at closing on the XXXX statement under the line of Mortgage Payoff Good Through XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to Ocwen Loan Servicing. This is not right. For the servicing company to advise me of an extension that was not honored and I am out {$3300.00} to the lawyer and another {$880.00}. Respectfully asking for that money to be returned to me. Thank you I have all the notes to include dates, names, phone numbers and conversations I had regarding this.

Complaint: This complaint is against XXXX XXXX XXXX. We have had a mortgage with this company for six ( 6 ) plus years and have had nothing but problems with them since day one. The first complaint is with the Insurance Claim Department. When the severe storm in 2014 hit our town, it nearly demolished our house. When we notified OCWEN about the damage they said we would have to send in an estimated total of the damage to them and our Insurance Company ( XXXX XXXX ). We had our contractor draw up a document showing the estimated damage and mailed it to OCWEN. After several weeks we called to see why we had not heard anything from them. OCWEN 's people said the original copy of the estimate had been misplace or lost and they asked us to send a duplicate copy. This happened over and over again and when we 'd call about this situation, the OCWEN person did n't speak or understand plain English so we got nowhere. We ended up sending the same paperwork to them 3 or 4 times. Then when they finally found the original estimate they contacted our Insurance Company and DEMANDED that the entire amount of the damage be sent directly to them. The Insurance Company felt so threatened by OCWEN, they mailed the entire check to them. Then OCWEN told us that they would only disperse 1/3 of the check to begin the project. This amount barely covered the amount of materials that were needed to get started on this project-not to mention paying the contractor or his helpers. We had to go through this mess of getting the money 1/3 at a time, sending in more paperwork over and over again, speaking to OCWEN 's people who did not speak or understand English. Then, three ( 3 ) years later we finally got our house finished. ( We had to borrow {$10000.00} for the final step because OCWEN would not release the last 1/3 until the house was finished. This was a very trying ordeal to go through and on top of that my wife was in the hospital when the storm happened and it was very hard on her. She was fighting an XXXX XXXX XXXX which turned into XXXX. When she got released she was n't able to come back to her home because it was in shambles. She had to stay elsewhere until it was fixed up enough that her health would allow her to move back in. It was n't completely done by any means, but it was tolerable for her health. We feel like this could have been a speedier project of repairing or fixing our house and we should n't have to had endure all of the problems that we did.

Complaint: This complain is against OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES. We have had our Mortgage through OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES for almost 6 years plus. We originally started with GMAC until they went bankrupt and sold our mortgage to OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES. We have had numerous problems with this company. ( too many to mention ) The complaint we would like to make today is the fact that OCWEN refuses to put my husband 's name on the mortgage, even though it was on it in the first place until they refinanced the mortgage. OWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES stated that my husband 's name could not be added because he was in a bankruptcy and the house was included in this bankruptcy. We have told them time after time that the house was NEVER-NEVER-NEVER in any bankruptcy. Our attorney wrote letters and called them saying that the house was NEVER in bankruptcy. Still OCWEN would not add my husband 's name to the mortgage. We would like this matter to be looked into and corrected so that my husband 's name is put in first place and then mine to follow. We want it this way so that his credit gets built up as he makes all of the payments. Right now he has a very low credit rating and it is because he is not getting the recognition of having paid this mortgage payment. Please try to remedy this situation as soon as possible.

Complaint: This complaint is against OWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES. Our complaint is about the equity in our house and the escrow balance showing on our monthly statement. We have been with OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES for 6 years plus. Prior to that time it was with GMAC who went bankrupt and sold the mortgage to OCWEN. Every time the mortgage was sold ( several times since we bought the house ) the equity in the house seem to disappear. We recall it being {$14000.00} at one time. Where did our money go? OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES says the money went for LAWYER 'S FEES and PAPERWORK. This makes no sense to us and ca n't be explained by anyone at OCWEN other than the aforementioned reason. Also, they do not speak or understand English well enough to explain anything. We are also concerned about the Escrow amount of {$4300.00} for Insurance. We pay the House Insurance directly to the Insurance Company in full for an entire year. This is the amount OCWEN is showing as Escrow on our statement. We would like to be compensated for this amount by sending us a check or in some such manner. We are very discouraged and disgusted with OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES and the way they do business.

Complaint: XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX is the company that this complaint is concerning. We have had this mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX since GMAC went bankrupt and sold the mortgage off to them. At the time OCWEN took over the mortgage they said there would be a ( balloon ) or deferred payment at the end of the mortgage or it would disappear after time if we make every payment and pay it on time. We have done this faithfully without missing or being late on any payment. Still the deferred payment exist and this is causing us problems with getting our house refinanced as we wish to do. Is n't there some way of making this deferred payment go away as OCWEN stated that they would do? And also there is a matter of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX increasing the Interest on our mortgage every so often and not giving us notice of any kind that they were going to do this. This has happened at least three times, if not more. Is this legal or should we be given the right to be notified when such a thing like this is going to happen?

Complaint: OCWEN Loan servicing extorted money from me. They were NOT within Legal right to impose Escrow on my mortgage NOR were they within legal right to PAY my property taxes. Nor did they PAY a REAL homne owner insurance company any payment to cover my home for that moment of lapse in payment due to them paying it BEFORE me. Also, there was NO detailed statement EVER sent to me at my on record address showing a breakdown of what my additional XXXX in closing went to. They issued a mortgage statement for year end that was Inaccurate to reflect NO Property taxes paid yet I sent them a Cashiers Check with Property Taxes Typed specifically on it. They attempted to STEAL my property with in the final 6 months of me being considered Florida resident. I have a Photo of my BALANCE as reflected on XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX balance. Not XXXX. OCWEN never provided an Origional mortgage document because the loan was Purchased from XXXX XXXX XXXX who tried these very same tactics on me in the past unsuccessfully and they sold the paper because they themselves DID NOT HAVE MY ORIGIONAL DOCUMENTS. My document stated ONLY Principal and Interest. NO ESCROW. Period! My XXXX NO LONGER even shows my OCWEN half of servicing or PAY OFF!! My score dropped 100Points. It only reflects XXXX XXXX XXXX and as sold paper. Not PAID IN FULL!! THIS IS PREDATORY!! This is FRAUDULENT! Not only did I HAVE to take a loss on the sale of MY HOUSE, I had to use all proceeds to pay off the NEW bathrooms, Air conditioner, Stove and Garbage Disposal I had Just installed in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. IF I am FORCED to take this loss, my credit should reflect I AM PAID IN FULL ON A Mortgage for $ XXXX Balance. SHAME ON OCWEN TO STEAL FROM ME!!!

I notice that the payment was returned along with receiving a fund returned letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. for not sufficient to satisfy the reinstatement amount on the account. Which I have always pay the escrow, which is my taxes and insurance., The payment applied is the correct amount, that I previous pay consistently. Further investigation needs to be looked at in a timely manner according to my records. I also receive a letter separate class action suit in regards to phone calling and harrassment. and challenged the debt that is supposed to be correct. Complaint: Our short sale offer is being countered to remove the buyer 's request for LESS THAN 3 % seller concessions even though they are a financing purchaser. The offer is even a bit higher than the BPO so the net amount is a non issue. It is unethical to not allow seller concessions to financing buyers. MOST buyers are financing and require closing costs to purchase, Ocwen not allowing this will make their borrowers unable to sell their homes and go to foreclosure.

Complaint: My home has been illegally foreclosed in Sheriff sale by Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC. Since the XXXX of my husband in XX/XX/XXXX, I have been trying to apply for a loan modification but no one in customer care at Ocwen would help me. Since his passing and because he was the bread winner, I have been in distress and had difficulties paying my mortgage payments. However, not enough to warrant a foreclosure on my home of over 20 years! In XX/XX/XXXX I sent Ocwen {$3000.00} of the {$4600.00} dollars that they stated that I was in arrears. They sent it back to me and would not work out a repayment plan. I was not informed and had no knowledge that the foreclosure process had started on my home. I found out this information from a third party by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, this is the company that I attempted to hire defrauded me out of {$2800.00} because Ocwen refuse to assist me with the reinstatement of my mortgage. Ocwen customer no service and negligence has cost me and my family financial harm and health problems because of this situation. When I call them it takes several hours to finally talk to someone and then find out thats the wrong person to speak with about your issue. It takes weeks and months for them to return phone calls! The Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX hired by Ocwen never notified me of any foreclosure proceedings on my home and ultimately sold it in XX/XX/XXXX. This is not the first time that Ocwen has illegally foreclosed on our property, it happened in XX/XX/XXXX as well. How can a company that has had so many billions of dollars in lawsuits for the same things be allowed to continue to do business.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I filed Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy. I had a mortgage on a non-owner occupied property which I excluded from the plan as I was trying to sell the property. After months I obtained a buyer and was excited to close on the sale of the home. I had to sell for less than what I owed, but I did not pursue a short sale. My title company had obtained a payoff XX/XX/XXXX where there was a {$400.00} Review of Plan/Notice of Appearance fee for the bankruptcy. The closing was delayed and Ocwen Loan Servicing was very uncooperative in sending a payoff statement to my title company so I could close on the sale nearly causing me to lose my buyer. When the payoff was finally received, they charged me {$400.00} for Review of Plan/Notice of Appearance and added {$450.00} Bankruptcy Fee that was not present on the previous payoff. On top of that, they charged me an additional 23 days of per diem interest on my payoff in Illinois where it is not permitted to require FHA payoffs to be good through the first day of the following month. These fees were not disclosed to me, not provided for in my note or security instrument that I could see. This caused a financial hardship in an already distressing situation when I, as a debtor, could have just surrendered the home in bankruptcy causing the lender significantly more money.

Complaint: We have three mortgages that are now being serviced by XXXX. The original lender was a different lender. The terms of our loan is such that the interest rate far exceed what was standard at the time. We are paying nearly 12 % on one of them and almost 10 % on the other two. They were both primary residences at the time they were purchased and we were not told that the loans carried adjustable rate mortgages. The mortgage documents were never explained to us at all, nor were we given options. We were not told that the mortgages were adjustable. No part of this transaction was professional nor was it in line with the loan terms of the time. We are unable to refinance due to being self employed and they are now rental properties. Both homes are extremely upside down and we are not able refinace or alter the terms of the loan. The loans were structured in what can only be described as predatory lending. XXXX is the servicer and has even for years. We have tried to work with them and we do n't want to go through the many months needed for loan modification. We would like them to adjust the interest rate to something that is more in line with what the market was doing at the time.

At the time I was preoccupied with the XXXX, XXXX XXXX, etc. It was not until a few months ago that I rediscovered the life insurance policy that my wife and I had with XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX ( XXXX ) ( see attached " Approved '' letter from XXXX XXXX ). I contacted ( XXXX ) approx. XX/XX/XXXX regarding the policy. They had confirmed that the monthly premium of {$58.00} was being paid by GMAC out go escrow through my mortgage payment ( see attached policy cover letter ). They then informed me that GMAC had stopped making Payments XX/XX/XXXX. After questioning XXXX/XXXX as to why GMAC would stop making payments, I was told that GMAC could have changed insurance companies. After making attempts to call GMAC I have discovered they are no longer in the mortgage business ...

Complaint: My ex husband, XXXX XXXX forged my name on a loan modification in XX/XX/XXXX for the property that he was awarded in our divorce. I contacted OCWEN individually and thru CFPB ( Case # XXXX ) in XX/XX/XXXX, explaining the forgery. They did nothing but disregard my complaint saying that the signatures " look consistant ''. I submitted a police report to the XXXX XXXX Sheriff 's Department ( XXXX XXXX, CA - Report # XXXX ) of the forgery in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX admitted to the sheriffs department that he forged ( 3 ) signatures on the modification. XXXX XXXX also admitted to the forgery in a court declaration. The XXXX XXXX District Attorney 's office has filed criminal charges against XXXX XXXX and they are currently in the pre-trial stage ( DA Case # XXXX ). OCWEN is now offering to re-modify the loan again probably at the request of XXXX XXXX. I DO NOT CONSENT TO A MODIFICATION WITH MY NAME ON IT. In our divorce decree, XXXX XXXX is required to REFINANCE the property ; therefore removing my name from the loan. XXXX XXXX is a Sergeant for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Department, he committed fraud and should not be allowed to remodify the loan. OCWEN should not allow this modification or offer it based on the fraud that was committed.
