Complaint: This company has constantly incorrectly applied my payments to the wrong accounts. They have mis communicated their programs, interest rates, and have taken payments without authorization.
Lastly, I applied a additional payment to my loans to try to pay off my loans quicker because Navient has increased Rates and have not allowed any loan options.
Instead of applying those payments to my loans and principle, they incorrectly put me in a forbearance program. These issues have been ongoing both with their Federal and Private department and have added thousands of dollars in interest and many of my hours to sort this out with their incompetent departments. This errors are unacceptable and Navient seems to do as they like without any consent from me what so ever.

Complaint: Navient Solutions , LLC - Incorrectly processed my loan payments on multiple dates.
*most recently that I found, were on XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019 * {$490.00} and {$690.00} - Incorrectly calculated interest fees prior to faulty processing of payments.
- Haven't fixed these payments after multiple complaints and escalations over the phone.

Complaint: XX/XX/19 Auto pay benefits were cancelled because of one auto loan payment was reversed.
I contacted the company but would not direct me to a supervisor. Giving me the run-around and putting Menon ridiculous wait times.
I have suffient funds in my account.
I have made loyal auto payments for the past few years and they cancel my benefits to lower my interest rate because of one incident. Navient was forced upon me and I have no choice but to agree to predatory terms and agreements.

Complaint: In XXXX, I received a bill for {$740.00} from Navient. On XX/XX/2019, I called and expressed my concerns for repaying the student loans. I shared that the monthly payment is way too high for me and I just finished taking graduate classes in XXXX. I expressed that I could only pay {$100.00} a month. Im not making enough money to pay them that much and other expenses. They denied my request for forbearance and they attempted to lower my payment. The lowered payment was around {$500.00}. I shared that I still can not afford that payment. When the bill was due, I paid {$50.00}. The customer service rep told me that wouldnt help and I expressed again that I cant afford the monthly payment. XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I paid {$50.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, The company is threatening to report the status of my loans to the consumer reporting agencies on XX/XX/XXXX. I have been paying what I could afford and theyre still asking for the full amount of {$740.00}. Ive talked to multiple representatives and none of them are understanding about my financial situation. I even tried to refinance the loans with the company and I was denied.

Complaint: I attended XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX-XXXX. Ever since my loans were Sallie May ( switched to Navient ). This transfer started confusion and created late payments and more interest. At the same time I was paying 2 other companies, XXXX and XXXX. I tried juggling all to make payments but became impossible. Navient always encouraged forebeafance which gave me the chance to focus on other XXXX and XXXX. I finally learned forebeafance is a scam because it just add more interest to loans. This all started with XXXX XXXX XXXX! I have {$100000.00} in debt. I have filed a BDR to {$60000.00} federal with Navient, XXXX is was sued and have stopped collecting along with XXXX. But Navient private loan worth {$20000.00} that my father is a cosigner on is an issue now. XXXX is a fraud along with the loan servicers. I have came to realize it is a setup depressing like the mortgage crisis. If XXXX XXXX XXXX has been sued for fraud along with other loan servicers connected like XXXX and XXXX, why can Navient private loans stop also? It is fraudulent and Im sick of being tricked and giving them My money. Please help!!!!

The interest on this loan is SO high I will never be able to pay it back!

Complaint: I told the customer service representative about my current situation, as I had my son XXXX which completely changed our financial situation for the worst. After numerous calls, I talked to one representative who brought me to tears because she hounded me about getting a payment in even though I repeated that I don't have the means. She then told me to ask my parents. Then she asked me did I have any coworkers, friends, or neighbors that would pay off the ENTIRE {$7000.00} balance for me. She told me that people have neighbors and friends who do pay for people 's loans all the time, which is obviously a lie and a tactic to try to get the money by any unethical means. THIS IS HARASSMENT!
Not only that how can you change a total balance from {$7000.00} to {$2000.00} to help, if I could produce the amount, but because I can't because I don't work to take care of my ill child, you inflate the amount at your leisure?
This company has completely failed me and many other borrowers with their predatory tactics for borrowing and repayment and it should be illegal! This is a harmful company!
They say every call may be recorded so I hope they have this one as proof.

Complaint: I " graduated '' from the now defunct XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in 2007. I received an XXXX of XXXX XXXX in XXXX and XXXX. This degree had not helped develop my career one bit and now the degree itself is useless because of the non-accreditation.
Not only did I use/lose my GI Bill ( it wasn't enough to cover costs ), I had to take out several private loans to offset the cost. It has been 12 years and I still owe just under {$30000.00} as of today. The school does not exist any longer, it lost its accreditation and the degree has no value.

Complaint: Dates will be a problem but until I was able check the box allowing the lender to access my income tax info I had many problems getting my new deferral or income based repayment. Any forms or pay stubs were submitted at least 3 times with associated heated exchanges by phone. I started calling Sallie Mae my loan shark and telling friends they would send goons to break my knee caps as a way to deal with the annual and prolonged stress. I dont like to be forced to let a faceless company have access to my private info but the stress was giving me XXXX. So I will persist allowing this invasion of my privacy as the lesser of 2 evils. Sallie Mae was evil and so is Navient.

Complaint: Navient loan They have been messing with me since day 1 I am a US XXXX veteran.
I know they have lawsuits filed against them I am searching for any kind of help i can find.
My payments ive paid monthly have gone to nothing.
The loan is still at the same amount as when i started in XXXX So for at least 6 years ive been paying a VERY SMALL loan and somehow my payments havent even touched it They did force me to forbearance a while back.
And i also heard that they have miss charged US veterans on purpose which is part of the lawsuits, on charging higher interest. I have no help to combat all of this. And am seeking guidance and help with this situation that for years had been effecting my credit and my life that now i have found out the company is just mistreating a lot of customers.
Any assistance would be helpful. If this isnt the right place. Whom i should call for help

I had all loans cancelled XX/XX/XXXX as I was enrolled through the employee assistance program at the time and was laid off after my first week of attendance involuntarily. '' I was advised by XXXX to contact National Loan Student Data System ( NSLDS ).
XX/XX/XXXX XXXX University XXXX XXXX / Collection Specialist recommended I speak with the Registrars office at XXXX option 4 & 6 or the AR department at ext XXXX Regarding loan corrections.
XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the National Loan Student Data System ( NSLDS ) with my issue and received a Complaint Case Number XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX Called Navient to have XXXX University loan removed from my account as It was not correct, I did not attend XXXX, nor take out a loan of {$22000.00}. Was advised to contact their internal Investigative line for loans at ( XXXX ) XXXX. Was net with a mailbox where I recorded my issues as there was no person to answer. I have not received a call back.
XX/XX/XXXX Called Navient back and was advised to visit the Borrower Defense to Repayment website for Federal Student aid at https : //studentaid.ed.gov to file a claim.
XX/XX/XXXX Contacted XXXX through XXXX XXXX to have my Identity reviewed for Fraudulent activity at ( XXXX ) XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX Removed Auto-pay from Navient and contacted Consumer Financial Protection Bureau again to file a second claim regarding this issue as I have not yet have this resolved.
