Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX till XX/XX/XXXX, I have resided at XXXX XXXX XXXX . XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ). My second lease, a 13-month lease, commenced on XX/XX/XXXX and it ended on XX/XX/XXXX. When I returned home from my weekly travel on XX/XX/XXXX, I found out that the management of the XXXX XXXX took possession of the property without my knowledge. Since I travel 5 days out of the week, I made arrangements to have my belongings moved out the prior weekend. I have inquired with the management about the possible explanation why I was locked out of my apartment to no avail. On XX/XX/XXXX, I have received a Moveout Statement stating I owed {$420.00} including {$350.00} for carpet stains. Again, I have tried to reach out to XXXX XXXX, property manager, to gain an understanding why I was locked out of my apartment before the lease expiration, who the management received an authorization from to take possession of the property before the lease end and any walk-through documentation or an agreement assessing the condition of the apartment. Since I was the only person listed on the lease agreement, XXXX management was authorized to only communicate with me! Since they failed to do so and took possession of the property before the lease end and without my knowledge and consent, they breached the contract they had with me. I left 10 messages for the property manager at the XXXX XXXX between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX which she denied receiving when I personally went to see her on XX/XX/XXXX. That same day, I also contacted the resident liaison at the XXXX XXXX who owns and manages the XXXX XXXX to see who I could contact at the corporate office. She informed me that at the direction from the property manager, she was not allowed to communicate with me or give me any additional information. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a certified letter to XXXX XXXX, vice president of property management at XXXX XXXX explaining the situation to him and asking for explanation. I also sent a certified letter to IQ Data International letting them know that I disputed the validity of the debt and I contacted the corporate headquarters for explanation. In the meantime, I asked IQ Data International to discontinue collecting on the debt and forward the account to XXXX XXXX until a resolution is reached. My letter to the Vice President of Property Management at XXXX XXXX went unanswered as of today for 60 days and IQ Data International placed a collection on all my credit reports without notifying me of the action. XXXX XXXX as well as their debt collector violated my rights under the FCRA by not proving the validity of the debt. XXXX XXXX had ample time to answer my questions and inquires in the letter they received and signed for on XX/XX/XXXX. Instead of proving the validity of the debt they are trying to collect from me, they discriminated against me assuming that as an XXXX male I am not aware of my consumer rights and will let XXXX XXXX and as well as IQ Data International extort money from me to prevent any damage to my credit report.

Complaint: I got a call from I.Q Data International Inc on XX/XX/XXXX, they said I owe {$640.00} against XXXX XXXX XXXX. Since I never lived in any apartment with name XXXX XXXX XXXX I told them they are contacting the wrong person. I got a call again on XX/XX/XXXX and the representative stated that I owe money, else they will damage my credit. To understand the issue better I requested the representative to provide me with full details of debt and send me the details of debt with verification. She insisted I pay immediately with my credit card now or else she would damage my credit. When I mentioned I would pay only after verifying that I owe money and would not be sharing my credit card details to someone on phone to abuse. She mentioned that there is protection on your credit card and started to threaten me again saying " I am giving you one last chance, if you pay now we will not report it and damage your credit ''. To which I responded, I would not do that without validating my debt and hanged up the call.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I moved from my old apartment in XXXX Texas ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) due to military orders. Before I left the apartment I painted and cleaned the place very well. I was sent a bill from the apartment complex a few days later stating that I would be charged for a new paint job, cleaning fees and my last utility bill. I told them I had no problem paying the utility bill but I did not think I should have to pay for new paint, because I lived there for 32 months with out ever receiving a new paint job and I had also repainted the place myself prior to me leaving the apartment. I was told by XXXX XXXX ( the management Representative ) that she would look into the issue. I never received a call back from her, instead IQ data international started to call me and harass me about the debt. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I was speaking to XXXX XXXX at IQ data internantional data about my debt when his manager by the name of XXXX XXXX got on the phone and started to berate me about the unpaid debt and accusing me of " going around in circles '' I told the manager that I am willing to pay what I felt I owed but the manger just kept degrading me and accusing me of trying to avoid paying my debt. The way the manager at IQ Data international spoke to me is unprofessional, rude and degrading. I am concerned that IQ Data will not stop harassing me even after I pay what is the lawful amount of what is owed.

Complaint: I have spoken to this debt collector multiple times, the first time being XXXX. I have made it clear that the debt was not mine, that I did not live at the property they have claimed I have move out fees from. I was told they would send me a fraud packet, a week later, nothing received and I call again. Im told they are now trying to get a copy of the lease to validate the debt. I then call on XXXX, after still nothing has been received, and Im told they are still working on it, but cant remove the account from my report, even though it has been greater than 30 days since I initially requested information to be mailed. Now I have filed a report with FTC for fraudulent activity/identity theft. As of last week, they have received my report and the letter with my request stating that I demand the account be removed, yet Im told again that they can not do this. It has been XXXX weeks since I began dealing with them, and since I requested this fraudulent account be removed. I have been denied rental property applications due to this account and am staying in a hotel. This is creating an unnecessary expense, due to their refusal to support my fraud report and follow the law in reporting the account.

Complaint: After moving out of a property, there was some minor debt left do to utility bills which had not yet come in. A week after I moved out I check with my former Landlord and found that the total remaining balance was XXXX which I paid using my credit card through their website ( XXXX2017 ). A week after that I received a letter from IQ Data claiming that I owed XXXX and in needed to be paid within a week or I would be placed in collection. I contacted my previously landlord and told them that I received this letter and asked them what was going on. They indicated it was a mistake and that my balanced had indeed paid in full. I was told that they would take care of it. About 2 weeks later, I received a phone call from 1 IQ Data saying that I owned XXXX and I better pay it or else there would be consequences to myself and my wife on our credit report. I told them I didnt own the money and they should check back with their client, but I was told that Lots of people tell us they dont own the money and that I better pay up. After a long conversation where they on multiple occasions refused to check back with their client and said it I didnt own the money it was my responsibility to prove it. I was eventually told that if I dont send them a letter with proof that I paid the debt, then they would report it on my credit report and that of my wife. During this call they also insulted me, insulted my intelligence, claimed I was a liar and disavowed any responsibility for validating the debt. I contacted the original landlord who confirmed there was no debt and told me they would take care of it. The land lord also sent me a copy of my ledger showing that I had a 0 balance.

Complaint: Due to the fact that my situation is not properly available on this site as a choice to select above I have been violated by IQ Data International. IQ Data International does n't have the rights to collect debt in the State of Texas? They are not abiding by the Law accordingly to the State of Texas and they supposed to remove themselves from my credit report by sending a letter stating to the Credit Reporting Agencies that they need to be removed. I sent IQ Data International a creditors validation letter to support their rights to collect a debt as a third-party debt collector in Texas. So, I checked the Secretary of State Texas Debt Collections Division website and found out that IQ Data International is breaking : " Texas Finance Code section 392.101 which prohibits a third-party or credit bureau from engaging in debt collection in Texas unless the third party debt collector has obtained a surety bond and file a copy of the bond with the Office of the Secretary of State. Also, you can not operate in the state of Texas with a P.O. Box '' I am in need of another Investigation to remove them from my credit report, please. In my case against IQ Data International, they are not registered with the State of Texas proven they have the right to collect debt in Texas.

Complaint: IQ Data International company spams people. I got a call from them one day stating that I owe some amount to my previous landlord. I know for a fact that we did not owe anything! In fact our landlord had returned us a part of our deposit amount after deducting all the move out charges. I contacted my landlord to find if there was any goof up and they told me that I owed them nothing. Moreover the apartment complex told me that IQ Data International are not their debt collectors. The lady on the phone insisted that I pay through credit card and that the payment must be done that day itself in order for her to waive off the interest amount. She sounded very legitimate - she knew the names of my previous roommates and she gave me a break down of the charges. When i refused to pay immediately, she transferred me over to another colleague who asked me what was stopping me from making the payment. All in all, it did sound fishy. They have even reported the fake debt on my credit report. They keep calling me regularly now. Infact they have even got hold of my office telephone number and they left a voicemail on that.

Complaint: I lived in the XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX back in 2014. There were some issues at this property and I had requested to move before the lease ended. I was advised to pay the lease breaking fee of {$1800.00} and will forfeit my security deposit. I had provided 2 money orders totaling that amount and once I had a walk thru with the property manager and they determined that I have a {$0.00} balance. I have Section 8 and you are not able to move from a property unless you have a {$0.00} balance. As you may know, I still have Section 8. A few years from when I moved from there, I saw on my credit report a balance of {$340.00} and later it increased to {$440.00}. I called the complained on BBB and the management property stated that I owed that money for repairs that were needed. There were no repairs needed when I moved out, which was the purpose of having a move out inspection. I checked in the state of Illinois and the state of Colorado and saw that the collection company IQ Data International IN does not have a license to collect in either state. Please help me to resolve this matter and remove from all credit bureaus.

I have never received a notice of my right to dispute. I have never signed a written contract or verbally agree to pay any debt to I. Q Data International. They also have not provided any information showing where I have agreed to pay them for the alleged debt. furthermore, they are illegally attempting to collect a debt from a resident of the state of Texas where it is illegal to do so if you have not obtained a surety bond and filed it with the secretary of State according to section 392.101of the Texas Finance Code.

Complaint: I noticed a debt on my credit report that was discharged in a chapter XXXX bankruptcy in XXXX of 2015. The debt has since gone to three different collection agencies. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Original Creditor ) sold or placed the account after my bankruptcy. XXXX was very aware of my bankruptcy. ( See case no XXXX filed in United States Bankruptcy Court XXXX XXXX of California ) All of the other debt collectors that put the discharged debt on my credit report removed the debt without question. IQ Data ( new collection agency ) stated that they will not remove the debt. I provided them the case number yet they still refused. After doing a simple XXXX search, I found that this is common practice for IQ Data. I have now sent in a dispute and demand letter to IQ and all the credit reporting agencies demanding removal. I have also retained counsel to file a lawsuit against all parties.
