Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Investigation took more than 30 days
Complaint: Hunter Warfield is reporting an inaccurate collection account which they have no proof of. They claim they are collecting on behalf of XXXX XXXX for carpet replacement due to damages they said I made to the carpet when I lived there but they have no proof. Last year, I contacted Hunter Warfield to dispute the debt and to inform them I had no knowledge of such damages and asked them for before and after pictures of the carpet showing the condition when I moved in and pictures of the carpet when I moved out, as well as a copy of the receipt showing the amount XXXX XXXX paid to supposedly replace the carpet which they are charging me for. I also informed them that the carpet was old and had stains when I moved in and that I had included that on my move-in inspection list which I turned in to XXXX XXXX. After 30 days of my dispute to Hunter Warfield, they sent me a letter notifying me they were not able to obtain the proof so they agreed to remove from my credit. Which they did. This year, Hunter Warfield sent me a letter they obtained from XXXX XXXX saying I owed for carpet repairs as their proof. That is not proof. Pictures and receipts are proof. Anyone can just type up a statement saying I owe them money but that does not mean it is true. XXXX is just trying to get me to pay for new carpet because it was already old and needed replacing. Also the move in check list I gave XXXX XXXX when I moved in is my proof that the carpet was already stained.

Complaint: Hunter Warfield has been notified approximately ( 5 ) times since XX/XX/XXXX that a debt that they are reporting against my name and social security number are fraudulent. I have had to dispute this with them now ( 5 ) times and have also completed a fraud affidavit that they sent me to complete, but they continue to reinsert the same fraudulent information into my credit report each year. Every time I resolve this matter with them and go through all of the steps to have this fraudulent account removed from my credit repot they continue to re-report and re-insert it into my credit files, and they know that they are doing this fraudulently, but they have no regard for the law.
I never lived at the XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I never even stepped foot in the place and never submitted an application to that property, and this was opened as a result of identity theft. Not only have I been through this ( 5 ) times with Hunter Warfield and even submitted a police report they continue to try to blackmail me by reinserting this fraudulent account into my credit file hoping they can force me to pay it.
This is a fraudulent account and is in no way associated with me, other than my stolen information was used to open the account. Written notification about debt

Debt collection: Other debt

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: I moved out of XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX, in XXXX Texas, on XXXX XXXX, 2017 having provided proper notice, etc. The final bill arrived on XXXX17, about the same time a letter from a collection agency arrived ( collection agency was the following Tuesday ). The final bill was for my final utilities and such. The problem started, as mentioned, when a letter from a collection company, came just days later. The apartment complex states that if the final bill is not paid within 30 days, it 's automatically sent to collections. The final bill shows that it was n't prepared until XXXX XXXX, 2017. Then, apparently they did n't mail the letter for a week or longer so by the time it reached me, my 'grace period ' had already lapsed and it is in collections. I contacted the former complex and worked out a couple of charges I did n't believe were fair, over the course of a week. Meanwhile, I contacted the collection agency and disputed the amount and told them that I had just received the bill and was going to pay it, but to the apartments. XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX, told me today, that since it 's in collections, I must pay the collection agency. I do n't want this on my credit and I have told both parties that I intend to pay but I did n't have any time to pay it before it was sent to collections.

Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Complaint: Good evening, I have been battling the collection practices of 'Hunter Warfield ' and XXXX XXXX ' for years now. They claim I owe over 8k in collections for a wrong doing eviction that occurred in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I was told by XXXX that I could resolve the remaining 6 months of my lease with their leading Office due to the fact that my roommates left me stranded and I could no longer afford rent. They WERE notified of all this in email and I was willingly authorized to vacate the premises before an eviction occurred. XXXX agreed to this because they had confirmation from the VA, that I was not receiving my military housing benefits on time which put me behind on rent. Only a month or so. In XXXX , I had orders from the XXXX XXXX to report to XXXX XXXX in Texas for a XXXX to XXXX . They WERE notified and I thought I was covered under law due to my military orders. XXXX quickly evicted me and added over 2k in f ees. Hunter Warfield them then took over collection and harassed me for months with no re gards to my situation. This debt has been removed twice from my credit reports ( XXXX and XXXX ) but have emerged on my reports both times. I can not afford an attorney and have never been issued any legal documents or paperwork in regards to the debts or my options to settle said Debt. I am pleading for assistance, as this collection account has coated me uncountable credit hardships. Thank you, Best Regards XXXX XXXX

Attempts to collect debt not owed

Debt collection: Other debt

Debt was already discharged in bankruptcy and is no longer owed
Complaint: I am here to complain about a collection agency named " HUNTER WARFIELD '', located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This agency placed false collection case against me with the wrong address, amount and wrong debt. I sent a certified letter to HW and asked it to verify the debt, however, it never really verified the debt but still reported a collection case to all three credit bureaus and ruined my credit score. This agency was collecting the debt for XXXX at XXXX XXXX, a XXXX XXXX XXXX, and it claims that I owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$2300.00}. The truth is, Hunter Warfield collected a debt that does not belong to me. The debt was to address XXXX XXXX, but I lived in XXXX XXXX. The debt never belonged to me. Second, XXXX and I went to the Supreme Court of California and both parties have settled the case. The debt can no longer be collected by a collection agency, since it is in litigation. The settlement amount is {$2300.00}. HW was collecting the wrong balance. Third, most importantly, the Supreme Court has decided that this debt does not have a due date, so the debtor can pay the creditor anytime. However, ignoring all those facts I requested the HW to verify, HW still posted the false collection cast on my credit files. I first received the collection letter onXX/XX/XXXX, and I sent back the letter to HW to ask it to verify the debt on XX/XX/XXXX, and HW posted the false collection case on my profile on XX/XX/XXXX. It never really looked into my letter to verify the debt before it post collection case on my account. This agency has historical issues with all kinds of consumers. On behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, it posted all kinds of wrong collections on consumers per it 's BBB ratings. It has a C- rating and had 5-6 collection issues with consumers. Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: To Whom It Concern I disputed an open collection account with Hunter Warfield Inc on XX/XX/2017 in regards to an account for original creditor XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$750.00}. For the record I requested debt validation for the debt due to me not being 100 % positive as to who I owe this debt to. I tried researching and to my understanding XXXX XXXX is a property management company. I have currently been living at my recent place of residence for more than for XXXX years. In my previous residence I lived for more than XXXX years my lease was not broken and unit was properly cleaned and taken care of. Any damages that would 've been noted were due to normal wear and tear due to the fact that I was there for more than 7 years in which the property would assume responsibility. If indeed this company believes I owe any additional monies I believe that my rights to a itemized listing of whats owed is due to me in which they have not replied to my request in the pa st 30 or m ore days. This company has gone to great lengths to change wording and spellings of names and listings of multiple address that makes it hard for the consumer to properly request info thats needed. I ask that if this company can not provide proper documentation within a timely manner that all negative reporting be removed from all of my credit reports.
Thanks Advance

I do not even owe the debt they claim I do- I have disputed it and have no record/knowledge of me ever owing anything. When they call and write letters they even threaten to sue me without providing any proper documentation. I disputed the debt and asked for proof- they sent an old lease that was not proof of any debt and did not include images, documentation, receipts, or anything stating that I owed the debt. It also did not have any validating signatures. I have even called and left voicemails several times and have not once received a call back. They also put it on my credit report after I disputed it and keep changing the balance. Its at least every month they go on and change the balance they claim I owe without sending any further documentation.
