Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Dear Sir : This is a comlaint against this HunterWarfield, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX FL XXXX Fax : XXXX XXXX Phone : XXXX This company has done the following which seems illegal 1 ) Added false information on my credit profile : It has added a claim of about {$800.00} when with reference to my prior house rental lease, when in fact I have already confirmed with my former landlord that no charges remain. 2 ) Broke the law, specifically Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) by : Failing to provide the original documentation on which this claim is based on. When I requested to e-mail it to me as I was not receiveing their mailed items, their agent Maning provided misleading information that they can not email as per FCRA. I later checked FCRA and it allows for communciation over e-mail. Here 's the relevant excerpt from the FCRA > > ( 1 ) The collection of any amount ( including any interest, fee, charge, or expense incidental to the principal obligation ) unless such amount is expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. I have already issued 2 written notices to Hunter Warfield to either provide written documentation or remove this item from my profile. But they are not acting XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Please take the necesssary legal action to get this questionable company 's claims off of my credit profile, and audit the legality of this company 's operations. Complaint: I have filed a dispute previously and received communication from the company, however, my initial concern, that I did NOT receive notification from company '' prior to this being placed was not discussed in their responds to my dispute. I have not received any calls or voice mails from this company and the letter that they provided never reached me, the address that is on the letter that they have attached to my previous dispute is not a valid address for me, I have also had my mail forwarded so had they placed a correct address, I would probably have received it and would have been able to deal with this accordingly. AGAIN, the address listed on the letter that the company provided on my last dispute, IS NOT a valid address, there is NO LOT number on it, therefor it must not have been placed into a mailbox or forwarded to me. Also I had disputed with the initial company When I vacated the premises concerning the owed rent. I have NOT received any information from them concerning ANY type of fees. How am I supposed to receive ANY information, if THEY have listed an incorrect address. Therefor, I am once again requesting that this be removed from my credit report and that if there is something truly owed, that I be provided with an itemized statement of what is owed so that I can review and either dispute charges or make payment arrangements if I feel that the charges are accurate. I am not trying to get out of my obligation if there is truly an obligation, however, I am requesting that this be removed from my credit as I have never received anything from either company due to their error in placing the correct address and that the process starts fresh with them sending me the itemized list of charges owed. I am attaching a copy of the letter that was provided to me with my last dispute that reflects that this is not a correct address.

Complaint: I have made several attempts for this company Hunter Warfield to provide proof of account ownership and they have not sent any information over to me. I have also called XXXX XXXX which was the original creditor and they said that they do not have any information on me and I need to contact Hunter Warfield. I have disputed this account since 2016 several times with all 3 credit bureaus and they have not provided me any information that I asked for as far as verifying this debt. I have never lived in these apartments. Either send me a lease stating that this is my account as I requested several times or remove this from my credit report.

Complaint: I have tried several attempts to resolve the issue with Hunter Warfield but no response to the issues at hand. provided court record to the dismissal that XXXX XXXX did not respond to the court of on going issues and other issues at hand. XXXX XXXX did not respond to legal mail sent to them on the issues at hand. If the matter cant be resolved I will be force to take this back to court and let a judge ask why XXXX XXXX never showed up to what they file on and there was 2 times they never showed to court and there was on going issues at hand as well.

We put in our 30-day notice to vacate our apartment due to the fact my husband had military XXXX that were XXXX him in XXXX. Therefore, due to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( SCRA ), we were allowed to break the remaining term of our lease. XXXX XXXX refused to accept my husbands official military XXXX, and since have sent our account to Hunter Warfield Collection Agency to try and collect on a debt that we do not owe. I have tried contacting XXXX XXXX, who are the owners of XXXX XXXX XXXX and they have yet to respond. I am currently working with my local credit repair company to resolve some past credit issues and they recommended that I contact CFPB to step in and handle this situation for me.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX attempted to contact Hunter Warfield Collections Asset Investigation via phone and I was threatened with legal action and various other actions and threats after I requested validation and verification of debt owed and also willing to pay if the account amount was correct. But when I left the apartment complex I did not owe anything and I feel as if I am being harassed and forced into repaying a debt that is not mine. The information was sent to the incorrect address and when I attempted to correct information agent XXXX XXXX was threatening and forcing actions on me. I do not owe feel this is a safe collections practices and it does violate FDCPA. Please assist me in correcting this unsavory tactics.

Complaint: I am in the process of trying to purchase a home, I spoke with a mortgage representative on XX/XX/XXXX and they pulled my credit, on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with a credit repair specialist that deals with the mortgage company, after looking at all of my credit reports advised me of what I would need to take care off. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notification that Hunter Warfield, Inc had been added to my credit profile for a collections of {$1500.00} and that the credit file had been opened on XX/XX/XXXX. Since XX/XX/XXXX, I have been diligently working on my credit to attempt to correct it and I have been keeping a watch on my credit report since, not one time, was this ever placed on my credit report, I never received any telephone calls, emails or mail from this place. I was actually disputing the charges with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( this is who the original company is ) as I do not feel that the charges are valid. I lived in their apartment complex for 2 months, gave noticed to vacate, ( this was a month to month lease ) and handed over the keys. I also requested to be present for the walk thru and was told that I would receive a date, that never happened. Months later, I received a notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX, advising that I owed for damages and cleaning, I attempted to call and received no communications from this company until XX/XX/XXXX, when it showed up on my credit report from Hunter Warfield.

Complaint: I first found out this debt was sent to collections via phone only and never received a notice a call at all even up to today. I spoke with XXXX XXXX regarding the account in the month of XXXX. I updated my address as well since it was inaccurate. I informed the company that I am disputing the debt with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and would need to get back with them once resolved. The representative threatened that he will report this on my credit and will impact anything i get in the future if a payment was not made today. I was forced to pay account after continuous calls and threats from the company and never hearing back from XXXX XXXX XXXX which a complaint was filed against them with CFPB as well. More importantly, the representative assured me that if I made a payment prior to XXXX therefore the account will not be reported to the credit bureau. I made payments on XXXX & XXXX which totaled out to be {$320.00} and satisfied the entire balance. Recently, I looked at my credit report and see that the account was on my credit. The company lied and harassed me until I made a payment and even smirked when I told him that I am disputing the account with XXXX XXXX XXXX. Also, I sent an email requesting the company cancel any collection attempts until account is resolved with XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/17. I never received a response from them at all.

The calls, left on our home telephone answering machine, state that they are seeking a debt from someone named XXXX XXXX, and if we are not XXXX XXXX to hang up. If we do n't hang up ( and because the message is left on voice mail, we can not ), we are treated to more information about how we must contact this company to pay a debt. We are not XXXX XXXX, and we have not ever heard of XXXX XXXX. These calls are made to our home repeatedly, dozens of time. On Sunday mornings, at dinner time, anytime. Complaint: I have sent 2 certified letters to Hunter Warfield asking for " Validation '' of the {$780.00} debt they claim I owe. They did not respond to the first letter I sent in XXXX XXXX. I then followed up with another certified letter on XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX XXXX I received a letter stating they had sent me verification and had no duty to send me any additional information again. I am sending another letter tomorrow, XXXX XXXX XXXX requesting the verification ; however, they are clearly in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I am asking them to DELETE the account immediately. This is NOT my debt and they can not prove that it is.

According to the company 's move out policy I did everything in compliance with supporting documentation that I was supposed to do ( Gave my notice for moving, Removed items from the Townhomes, cleaned the unit ect ). The property manager had on site grounds keeper that did the walk around with me and took photos of the unit. The documentation was supposedly given to XXXX XXXX in spite of the fact she still kept my deposit that was owed to me and falsely reported that the unit was in a terrible condition when I moved out. I moved out on Friday the XXXX of XXXX XXXX and another family moved in on Monday XXXX the XXXX XXXX. I was not able to come back to Minnesota to contest the accusations because myself being a single mother and moving to another state was impossible task financially, the property manager was aware of this at that time. However, I have attempted to contact the company directly numerous of times and on different occasions to take care of this issue. I kept getting the run around by the staff of XXXX XXXX XXXX because I did n't know the proper steps file with the false claim that the property manager made and yet not a positive response. I 'm asking for a someone to please look into this matter regarding the false claim that the property manager made and please let me know what I need to do to take care of the situation.
