Complaint: In XXXX and XXXX, I did business with Cashnet USA ( cashnetusa.com ) a few times, and paid each loan off in full. My last loan with them was paid off on XX/XX/XXXX. I continued to receive email solicitations from them although I unsubscribed. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from them saying " Your Application is Almost Complete '' as well as another one with " CashNetUSA Login Instructions '' which seemed suspicious to me, as I had not taken any action with them since XXXX ; so I replied to the email and asked them to please unsubscribe me, and that I hadn't used them since XXXX. This morning, on XX/XX/XXXX I saw an email from Cashnet USA titled " Payment Reminder '' as well as another one titled " CashNETUSA Login Instructions ''. When I opened the " Payment Reminder '' email, it stated that my " loan has been funded '' which I found highly alarming as I have not applied for any loan nor did I WANT to apply for a loan. The email went on to state that I would owe {$2000.00} due XX/XX/XXXX. I logged in to my XXXX XXXX bank account and saw a {$1600.00} deposit dated XX/XX/XXXX with advice showing " cashnetusa ''. This alarmed me further because this was a new XXXX XXXX account from when I last dealt with CashNETUSA. I then searched my email for any further information and saw a message dated XX/XX/XXXX from CashNETUSA that I had overlooked, titled " Congratulations! Your Loan is Approved '' with attachments : a disclosure statement, a Credit Access Services contract, loan agreement/promissory note truth-in-lending disclosures, and an ACH voucher with my old XXXX XXXX account number on it. I called XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX CST and spoke with XXXX filed a fraud claim and then called CashNETUSA at XXXX XXXX CST and spoke with XXXX to let her know that this loan was not authorized. XXXX advised me to file a police report and fax it to XXXX and/or scan & email it to XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX also advised me that the best course of action would be to pay CashNetUSA just the principal {$1600.00} and then have XXXX XXXX stop any further ACH payments from my account. So, I went to XXXX, reset my password, logged in, and set up a payment of {$1600.00} for the SOONEST business date of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX it would not allow me to select same-day payment ). My husband XXXX XXXX called CashNETUSA and spoke with a different agent, he was informed that I could rescind the loan and it would be as though it never happened, and that agent cancelled the {$1600.00} payment dated XX/XX/XXXX. So I called CashNETUSA back and spoke with XXXX, and asked to rescind the loan. XXXX waived the fees and interest and processed a new payment for {$1600.00} dated XX/XX/XXXX. I am not sure the purpose of why the first payment was cancelled if the process is just to enter another one. Upon close review of the documentation sent over with the " Congratulations '' email, it shows that the IP address of all of the " signed '' documents ( disclosures, ACH voucher, CAS contract, etc. ) show XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and the IP address is " XXXX '' which isn't a specific address. The IP XXXX is your own local computer. This means that someone within the CashNETUSA organization initiated this loan on my behalf, and probably did not expect me to raise a concern. I am sure many people in dire straits during the holidays would be grateful for an extra {$1600.00} in their account and not think of the consequences of then being debited $ XXXX on XXXX XXXX! This concerns me because it makes me question how often this organization has been doing this, and to how many people!!

Complaint: Applied for XXXX via web in XXXX a representative contacted me via phone once app was received .he went over loan and terms .before accepting the loan in which I applied for XXXX I asked the representative several time that since I was planning to pay off in XXXX would my balance be XXXX which would be the remaining since I paid for 7 months starting in XXXX he stated yes no interest for a year and I would only pay back the amount left from what was borrowed. I noticed on my credit report it states my credit is XXXX and on the XXXX website I owe almost XXXX with only {$14.00} out of the XXXX going to interest. I contacted office in XXXX requesting call be pulled to honor what I was told I was told a supervisor would call back but he not sure when. Several days later I received a call unfortunately I missed the call due to being at work when I called back I was told I had to put in a request and they would call back within 24-48 hours as of today and it has been almost two weeks I have not received a phone call to resolve matter I wouldve looked into someone else for loan if I knew my information given to me was inaccurate

Complaint: On XXXX I got a loan for {$1000.00}. My payments were {$170.00}. I checked on line on my account after the payment was drafted out of my bank account. The monthly payment jumped up to {$330.00} due on the XXXX day of XXXX. These people are a rip off and need to be investigated. I am on a fixed income and can not pay {$330.00} a month. I only get {$1400.00} a month. Something is wrong with these people.

Complaint: Due to personal financial issues, I have had no choice but to resort to payday/predatory lenders and these high interest rate, last ditch effort loan companies. I borrowed {$950.00} from CashNetUSA on XX/XX/2017 and another {$430.00} on XX/XX/2017 and another {$300.00} on XX/XX/2017 ( in total, {$1600.00}. ) I have since repaid {$1900.00}. My balance remaining is still somewhere around {$700.00}. I am struggling to make these payments and I am hoping to be able to have this account closed and listed as paid in full without me needing to make anymore payments as this company has made a sufficient amount of money over the principal. Complaint: I contacted the XXXX also goes by " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX WI, XXXX ''. It is also believed that they go by " Cashnet USA ''. A few months ago, I reached out to their customer service phone line and requested to have information relating to how much the remaining balance was for my loan. They said at the time I called that I owed {$780.00} dollars. The loan that I took for an emergency move into an apartment was for {$1000.00}. The term of the loan began on XX/XX/XXXX when I received that money into my bank account. Due to my limited income, I requested a reduced payment plan and the only way I was given the loan was to provide my banking account information upfront and to agree for deductions in the amount agreed upon prior to taking out the loan. I was in a desperate situation to avoid homelessness, so I was forced to accept this agreement. My personal bank was refusing to lend me any money due to my credit. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ( today ) I have made every payment on time as scheduled for the agreed upon amount of {$62.00}. This means that for 507 days, I have remained in good standing for paying off my loan. This amount of 507 days is equal to 1 year and 4 months worth of payments. The last date of my payment is listed as XX/XX/XXXX. This date is over 2 years after originally taking out the {$1000.00} loan. I, the consumer, believe that this is unfair treatment for someone who has paid off their loan on time for nearly 1.5 years. The consumer would like to have the remaining balance of {$660.00} ( as of today ) forgiven immediately. The consumer would also like the remaining balance of payments made beyond the cost of the principle balance refunded to him because it was not clear that the agreed upon payment would take over a year to pay off. The annual percentage charged was 148.09 % for the loan. Payments have been made on time on a bi-weekly basis. The amount of the loan on XX/XX/XXXX was {$1000.00} but the total amount I am expected to pay by XX/XX/XXXX will be {$3200.00}. This means that I as a consumer will have paid an additional cost of {$2200.00} despite making EVERY payment on time for a period of 507 days. The consumer was not properly informed that such exorbitant chargers would occur for individuals who made payments on time.The consumer believes that the additional cost should be refunded back to him upon the completion of the loan if nothing is resolved prior to the loan being paid in full.. The consumer believes that even if proper information was provided to the consumer, that such practices of market cost should be deemed as illegal.

Complaint: Today is XX/XX/2018 and for the past few days I have been in contact with XXXX XXXX customer support team. I do believe that there has been a breach in the contract since contract expressly states that the loan is a daily simple interest loan which accrues interest on a daily basis. So when the contract says in plain english that " prepayment of principal may reduce the total amount of interest you pay under this agreement '' then I do expect to save money on the interest as stated. So on date of XX/XX/2018, I paid {$1000.00} so shouldn't I have saved on the interest according to the contract? But instead my balance went up more then the original pay off amount so I getting ripped off by these people while I am here trying to do what's right. Why am I paying more interest charges of the portion that has been paid in advance in a daily simple interest loan? This is not what I signed in the contract. I do also have copies of the email correspondence from Netcredit 's support team sounds like they gave me the run around. My total balance on XX/XX/2018 was {$1600.00} and I paid a total of {$96.00} on Friday and {$1000.00} on XX/XX/2018 so why is my balance {$600.00} Where is the reduced total amount of interest?

Complaint: I live in Virginia and applied for a online loan. I have come across information that XXXX is not legal in Virginia. XXXX keeps taking funds from my checkings and causing overdraft fees. I am more than willing to pay them what I owe. But, at 149.81 % it is impossible to do so. I borrowed {$1200.00} from XXXX and my payment was supposed to be {$79.00} a month. XXXX is taking that amount from my checkings sometimes, 2 to 4 payments in one month. I have been late one time and XXXX has made me pay dearly. I have contacted XXXX about the matter and they refuse to work with me.

I called them as soon as they opened to inform them I did not apply for this loan. I contacted all credit bureaus to freeze my credit and add a fraud alert. I have filed a police report with my local police department. When I called the next day they refused to do anything until they receive a written police report. I asked them to cancel the loan, they refused to do anything until they receive a written police report.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I contacted cashnet via chat to get a quote on my payoff for my loan. I already had a scheduled payment to be taken out my bank account on XX/XX/2018. When I contacted the company in XX/XX/XXXX, I was quoted for the days XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/2018. I was quoted {$310.00} for XX/XX/XXXX, {$310.00} for XX/XX/XXXX, and {$150.00} for XX/XX/XXXX after my scheduled bank draft of {$160.00} making it equal to {$310.00}. I was told that I until Midnight of XX/XX/XXXX to make any of these payments for payoff by online or calling in. I decided to pay it off on Friday since a payment was coming out anyway. We are all human by working and dealing with life issues so I called on XX/XX/2018 at XXXX to make the payment of {$150.00}. I was put on hold and was on hold for over 2 hours. I stayed on hold because the payment needed to put in before midnight. While on hold I went on the website so I can make an online payment. To my surprise that wasn't an option. Also I see that the phone lines close at XXXX. So, I was on hold while no one was there!!! Why didn't the hold message say this or let me know it was closing soon. This is unfair practice and unacceptable. The phone lines should let customers know that the phones will be closing soon. There should also be an online payment option since this an online loan. I contacted the company by email with photos of my hold time. They responded by giving me a higher quote because a new day has passed. This is unfair because I called before the deadline and was put on hold and stayed on hold while no humans were there. And, I didn't see an option to pay online.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I applied for a load with cashnet in the amount of XXXX My first payment was XXXX which was made on XX/XX/2018. I jus found out today that the payemnt went only to fees and intrest. Nor they have notifed me that my next payment is going to be XXXX whicj is XXXX dollars above my last payment. Nowhere in their aggeement was there anything that indicated that this was not a standard loan with set payments over a certain amount of time. They informed ne today that I was being chagred XXXX dollars in intest alone. I am on a fixed income and had I known that this was not a loan with set payments over a certain amount of time I would not have applied. They only offered assistnce if a payment was declined by my bank and would charge me XXXX t XXXX extra a month to do so. I have teir to contact them to see if they can help with the high payments that they are now tring to charge me but all I get is I'm sorry.

Complaint: I am officially filing a complaint against Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX. This corporation is a well disguised, predatory payday/installment loan company taking advantage of individuals in dire financial situations. Customers are lured in with the promise of consumers being able to get access to the credit they need. On their website, they claim that we believe everyone deserves access to credit. Yes, they believe this because they then profit on the disgustingly high interest rates they charge. XXXX claims they believe our customers come first. This is an outright lie. Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX bottom-line comes first. Its profit margins come first. It has no care for customers or it would not charge the exorbitant interest rates it does. On its website Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX makes the claim that they are committed to 100 % customer satisfaction yet it has 62 complaints in the XXXX XXXX XXXX database with a 1 out of 5 star rating. The majority of these complaints were closed with the customer rejecting the response. A large number of the complaints center on the outrageous, greedy, predatory interest rates charged. Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX has 378 complaints filed against them in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau complaint database. The majority of these complaints were closed with the customer rejecting the response. A large number of the complaints center on the outrageous, greedy, predatory interest rates charged. On XX/XX/2017, I took a loan from XXXX in the amount of {$1200.00}. To date I have made 11 payments at the payment amount of {$100.00} each for a total paid of {$1100.00} with a 12th payment yet to be applied by XXXX. Once this payment is applied, I will have paid {$1200.00}. XXXX states I still have twenty-four more payments of {$100.00} each to make. For a {$1200.00} loan, I will end up paying {$3700.00}!!!!!!! This equates to an interest rate of 316 %!!!!!! I will pay more than 3 times the amount borrowed. I will pay {$2500.00} in interestmore than double to amount of the loan ( 216 % )!! That is outrageous!!!! The XXXX XXXX XXXX, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can not allow this business practice to continue. It is predatory, obscene greed!!! I will make my XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX payments of {$100.00}. Once those payments have been made, Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX will have received {$1400.00} from me for the {$1200.00} I have borrowed. I will have paid {$270.00} in fees ( 23 % ) which is a much fairer amount. I am making this complaint to appeal to the XXXX XXXX XXXX, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to do something about these lenders. It is simply inexcusable how they are allowed to operate. Once my XXXX payment clears, I want my account reported as Closed/Paid in Full/IN GOOD STANDING. Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX will dispute this complaint as it does with all complaints filed against them. Disputing the facts of the predatory, greedy business practices does not mean that they are not predatory and greedy. The numbers do not lie.
