Complaint: I am officially filing a complaint against Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX. This corporation is a well disguised, predatory payday/installment loan company taking advantage of individuals in dire financial situations. Customers are lured in with the promise of consumers being able to get access to the credit they need. On their website, they claim that we believe everyone deserves access to credit. Yes, they believe this because they then profit on the disgustingly high interest rates they charge. XXXX claims they believe our customers come first. This is an outright lie. Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX bottom-line comes first. Its profit margins come first. It has no care for customers or it would not charge the exorbitant interest rates it does. On its website Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX makes the claim that they are committed to 100 % customer satisfaction yet it has 62 complaints in the XXXX XXXX XXXX database with a 1 out of 5 star rating. The majority of these complaints were closed with the customer rejecting the response. A large number of the complaints center on the outrageous, greedy, predatory interest rates charged. Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX has 378 complaints filed against them in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau complaint database. On XX/XX/2017, I took a loan from XXXX in the amount of {$1200.00}. To date I have made 11 payments at the payment amount of {$100.00} each for a total paid of {$1100.00} with a 12th payment yet to be applied by XXXX. Once this payment is applied, I will have paid {$1200.00}. XXXX states I still have twenty-four more payments of {$100.00} each to make. For a {$1200.00} loan, I will end up paying {$3700.00}!!!!!!! This equates to an interest rate of 316 %!!!!!! I will pay more than 3 times the amount borrowed. I will pay {$2500.00} in interestmore than double to amount of the loan ( 216 % )!! That is outrageous!!!! The XXXX XXXX XXXX, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can not allow this business practice to continue. It is predatory, obscene greed!!! I will make my XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX payments of {$100.00}. Once those payments have been made, Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX will have received {$1400.00} from me for the {$1200.00} I have borrowed. I will have paid {$270.00} in fees ( 23 % ) which is a much fairer amount. I am making this complaint to appeal to the XXXX XXXX XXXX, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to do something about these lenders. It is simply inexcusable how they are allowed to operate. Once my XXXX payment clears, I want my account reported as Closed/Paid in Full/IN GOOD STANDING. Enova International , Inc. d/b/a XXXX will dispute this complaint as it does with all complaints filed against them. Disputing the facts of the predatory, greedy business practices does not mean that they are not predatory and greedy. The numbers do not lie.

Complaint: I received several calls from the number XXXX with no message left and a friend of my parents I haven't seen in 20 years received a call from the same number saying they were trying to contact me to deliver legal papers. When I called them back they would not give me the full name of their company, just Absolute. They told me they were collecting on a debt from Cashnet USA from XX/XX/XXXX. My wife and I were victims of ID theft in XX/XX/XXXX and this is one of the accounts that were opened in my name. I have provided Cashnet USA a copy of the police report several times yet they still sell this bogus debt to third party collectors. I asked " Ms XXXX '' at Absolute where I should send the ID theft docs and the police report and she said I wouldn't need to. Seems like they would need the documents since they claimed they have already started legal action and were looking to serve me with legal papers. I asked again for an address or fax number and she said she would send it to her fraud department and they would take care of it. There are two issues here. 1st : Cashnet USA is aware this was fraud yet they refuse to remove the debt and continue to use third parties to collect even though they know the debt is bogus. 2nd : The collection tactics used by this " Absolute '' company are a clear violation of FDCPA and UDAAP. They are threatening legal action when they really do not use legal action on their accounts. They contacted a third party and told him they were trying to deliver legal papers to me. They actually contacted him before they attempted to contact me.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, i received a threatening call from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX ( not a registered business ) stating I owed on a XXXX loan that i did not take out. My identity was stolen sometime between XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I told the debt collector I had already spoken with XXXX about my identity being stolen and gave them my current address and they said they would investigate it. THis debt collected said his client was taking me to court unless I paid the loan off or set up a payment plan. I asked who the client was and he said he could not tell me that I would have to figure that out on my own. Not knowing my rights I gave him my debit card number. I called XXXX and they said they had on record my identity was stolen and there was nothing owed on my account. I requested the account be closed. I asked if they sent me to a debt collection agency and they said there was no record and that I should cancel that card immediately. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a voicemail stating that I will be sent to court for stalling tactics on paying my debt unless I call today and take care of the debt. Problem with the payoff process at the end of the loan

Complaint: I had a line of credit with Cashnet USA with a limit of {$2000.00}. From XX/XX/2018 to XX/XX/2018 I took out advances and made payments on this line of credit. The total of the advances was {$2500.00} with associated fees of {$250.00} and interest {$360.00}. Therefore I owed Cashnet USA a total of {$3100.00}. Over the same period of time I made payments totaling {$3300.00}. Thus I overpaid Cashnet USA {$190.00}. I have requested a refund in the amount of {$190.00}. I called Cashnet USA on XX/XX/2018 and was told that I would be given a detailed summary of my account transactions within 2 business days. On XX/XX/2018 I had an online chat requesting the details since I had not had any confirmation that the request was being processed from my XX/XX/2018 phone call. I received an email on XX/XX/18 that I would receive the information requested within 5 business days. On XX/XX/2018 I requested an update on the request via email. I received the breakdown report later that day on XX/XX/2018 from XXXX XXXX. The last three payments on the report stated the following : " On XX/XX/2018 we received a payment in the amount of {$400.00} On XX/XX/2018 we received a payment in the amount of {$600.00} On XX/XX/2018 we received a payment in the amount of {$170.00} '' All other payments on the report during the time period XX/XX/2018 to XX/XX/2018 were broken down in detail showing how much went towards fees, interest, and principal. '' On XX/XX/2018 I requested detail on the last three payments. On XX/XX/2018 I received a new report stating that the payments received on XX/XX/18 and XX/XX/2018 were applied to principal. I did not have a balance due to Cashnet on XX/XX/2018. I tried three times to get resolution over the phone on XX/XX/2018 ( I was told once by a representative that there were hidden fees and interest, the second call was disconnected when I asked to speak to a manager, the third call told me that this request was escalated to a manager however there was not a manager to speak to at that time ). On XX/XX/2018 I called the collection department of Cashnet hoping that a manager would be present, I spoke to XXXX. She was great and told me she would investigate and call me back. She did call me later on XX/XX/2018 and told me that I have overpaid and possibly it was more than {$190.00}. The lack of clarity on how my payments were applied and the conflicting statements stating I did not have a balance but still owed payments are very troubling to me as a consumer.

I have also gotten notice that my SSN has shown up on the dark web. This is not my account and therefore I would like it removed from my credit report.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I was contacted by netcredit advising that I was pre approved for an installment loan. As I am a single mother of XXXX and have been batteling XXXX I was behind on HOA fees and other bills and decided to take out the loan. They advised it was an intallment loan with monthly payment of XXXX. This is what I agreed to, I checked an account that I used and realized that they were taking out the XXXX every 2 weeks, once I realized this I sent them a complaint in writing advising to stop the ach and that I was under the impression that this was an installment loan and not a payday loan. I told them I could not afford the XXXX coming out every 2 weeks as this is not what I anticiapted. This has brought my checking account seriously negative and my bank is giving me a hard time as well. They emailed me a reponse saying it is an installment loan however the payment is every two weeks. I feel this is very deceptive, and installment loan is supposed to be a monthly payment a payday loan is a bi weekly payment. I really need help with this. I can makde montlhy payments I can not make bi weekly payments of XXXX that is too much and it is really creating a hardship for my family. Please assist me as again I feel this company is being very deceptive.

Complaint: When I applied for loan with CashNetUSA they could not tell me how big payments are going to be. My first payment was about {$120.00} and was taken twice a month. After that payment was {$220.00} and keeps climbing up. It seems I am just paying for interest. Next payment is coming up on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$300.00}. When I contacted them they emailed me to inform me about interest rates and promised to work with me to help me. If I knew what will happened I would never get a loan from them. Even now I dont know what my next payment is going to be. I think its not fair on a credit line of {$1400.00} to make payments of {$600.00} a month. And my balance is still the same.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I done an extension on the loan and I applied a {$100.00} dollars payment that should go toward the loan balance and make the loan balance go from {$500.00} to {$400.00} dollars, the total amount that was supposed to been taken from my XXXX account should have been in the amount of {$190.00}, {$96.00} would be the loan interest fee and that {$100.00} dollars would be applied towards the loan balance.The total amount of the loan that was borrowed was {$500.00} dollars and the interest fee was {$96.00}. Someone went and deleted payment for the {$100.00} dollars that was supposed have went towards the loan, and did not send the email for the extension that was requested on the XXXX, they went and changed the loan agreement and redone a loan for amount of {$400.00} dollars.I noticed that online when I had looked at the agreement.When I had called Cashnetusa the reps was unable to see where there was a partial payment in the amount of {$100.00} dollars requested.I was offered a payment plan and I took it, I had asked to be refunded the {$100.00} dollars since the {$100.00} dollars was never applied towards the loan.I explained to them when I had the last loan and requested an extension my balance remain the same, and the balance should have been now at {$400.00}

I attempted to inform the representative that I had no knowledge of debt and that I would like more information mailed to me. The representative said she wouldnt send any information unless I provided her my information that she would need in order to try and use it to claim I owed this debt I knew nothing about. I notified the company in writing of my requests that they provide documentation of this debt. I have received more phone calls every day since XXXX XXXX and nothing in writing. The agent today XX/XX/XXXX called and I explained u have not been provided any documents that suggest I owe a loan and she acknowledged that my request for these documents was received. Complaint: I had an open-end line of credit with CashNetUSA ( Loan # XXXX ) which was originated in XXXX but is illegal in my home state of XXXX and violates XXXX 's usury laws. CashNetUSA also does not have a license to offer these types of loan products in XXXX. My open-end line of credit had an APR of APR of 299 % for cash advances and charged 15 % on all cash advances. When I " renewed '' the loan in XX/XX/XXXX, I was not aware that CashNetUSA still had my old XXXX address on file. I moved from XXXX to XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. As such, my loan agreement with them should be null and void, and the current loan balance of $ 2500+ should be cancelled. Moreover, from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, I made semi-monthly payments to CashNetUSA with each payment being {$300.00} and {$350.00}, totaling {$2500.00}. I should receive an immediate refund from CashNetUSA of all usurious interest paid on this loan, since the company should NOT have renewed my line of credit in the first place knowing that I live in XXXX and knowing that they don't have a license to offer these types of loans in XXXX. I used my XXXX address when I applied online in XX/XX/XXXX to " renew '' my line of credit with CashNetUSA, AND I also verbally informed them of my relocation both during the re-application process and when I paid off the line of credit the first time in XX/XX/XXXX. -- - My attorney is prepared to file suit against CashNetUSA for multiple violations of Chapter 687 of the XXXX Statutes which govern interest and usury in lending practices. As stated above, I informed CashNetUSA that I moved to XXXX and no longer lived in XXXX after paying off my original line of credit with them on or about XX/XX/XXXX. Moreover, when I applied online for the second line of credit back in XX/XX/XXXX, I did so using my XXXX address. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, CashNetUSA used my previous XXXX address to grant credit approval. As such, CashNetUSA granted credit to me based on false pretenses, as I have not lived in the State of XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. My home residence is in XXXX, and has been officially since XX/XX/XXXX. This can be documented by a signed lease agreement and utility bills in my name. -- - I must reiterate that CashNetUSA does NOT have a license to legally provide XXXX consumers with open-end lines of credit, and as such, this loan is illegal and is null and void. XXXX Statues very clearly define usurious lending contracts, and they do not grant exceptions for open-end lines of credit. Chapter 687.02 states that " all contracts for the payment of interest upon any loan, advance of money, line of credit, or forbearance to enforce the collection of any debt, or upon any obligation whatever, at a higher rate of interest than the equivalent of 18 percent per annum simple interest are hereby declared usurious. '' This law applies to any loans or lines of credit where the amount does not exceed {$500000.00}. XXXX Statutes are also very clear about criminal usury and loan sharking. Section 687.071 ( 3 ) stipulates that " any person making an extension of credit to any person, who shall willfully and knowingly charge, take, or receive interest thereon at a rate exceeding 45 percent per annum or the equivalent rate for a longer or shorter period of time, whether directly or indirectly or conspire so to do, commits a felony of the third degree. '' My current line of credit with CashNetUSA represents an egregious violation of Section 687.071 ( 3 ) of the XXXX Statutes. Section 687.071 ( 1 ) ( d ) of the XXXX Statues defines " extension of credit as " to make or renew a loan of money or any agreement for forbearance to enforce the collection of such loan. '' CashNetUSA chose to renew an open-end line of credit that they originally extended to me when I lived in the State of XXXX, and such a loan is usurious under XXXX Law. Section 687.071 ( 7 ) of the XXXX Statues goes on to state that " no extension of credit made in violation of any of the provisions of this section shall be an enforceable debt in the courts of this state. '' -- -- - In order for CashNetUSA to comply with XXXX law and avoid litigation, the company must immediately cancel my loan AND refund all payments to me that I have made on this illegal loan to-date in XXXX, totaling {$2500.00}.

Complaint: on XX/XX/2014 you went online applied for loan with XXXX XXXX was approved for the loan amount of {$5000.00} XXXX XXXX dollars, was not payments would be taken each time was paid this created a big problem because it made it difficult other bills scheduled for the month.Tried to resolve this initial problem by requesting that payments to be taken only once monthly this never got resolved.XXXX XXXX never changed there position based upon my call for change in the payment structure.we restricted payment on the account by sending moneys via certified certified however moneys were never applied for some reason.funds never transferred out of my account showing payment made, again problem never resolved.When i decided to put a halt to this whole matter by by going to a family member to borrow the money to just pay this loan back minus the payments made totaling {$3500.00} already paid i was told that none of this money paid was applied to principal and my total amount due was over 10,000 I was floored and felt trapped

Complaint: I requested a loan for XXXX dollars from this company. They are loan sharks in desguise. I have paid back over 2.000 dollar and I still owe them XXXX. It should be illegal for this business to operate. Yes they do help you I time of need but they have bleeded my bank acct. My payments are deducted actomatically from my checking a acct. I resided in XXXX withy daugher whom has a special needs child with several health problems. I was helping her out. I had to move back to XXXX XXXX to take care of my XXXX year old mom whom has XXXX and I explained to them through an email the financial hardship I was having due to having to help my mom and my own home renovate and do repairs after hurricane Maria. They just took the action of the not making any more withdraws which that was fine with me but they had no compassion or care about my economic situation.No one ever responded to my email to try to help me. All they send me is when my next payment will be taken out of my acct. I live on disablity from soc sec and the payments never end even when I have not made any withdraws..The intrest they charge was unknow to me. I wrote them it was the worst company even if I was homeless in the street I rather stay that way then resort to them for help..Really bad. Sincerly XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX violated Section 1026.18 of Regulation Z when they provided me with an amortization schedule at origination that was not reflective of the actual terms of the loan. XXXX XXXX disclosed a regular amortization schedule ( attached ) while in actuality they apply payments to interest first. This is a misleading and deceptive act which violates UDAPP.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I sent email to cashnetusa stating that I was revoking ACH permission to them because I could not afford to pay my bill at this time. The company sent an email back stating that they received my ACH permission denial email and that no more electronic withdrawals would be from my account. On Friday XX/XX/XXXX they withdrew XXXX from my checking account. I want money credited back to my account, stat.
