Complaint: My account was closed onXX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX my girlfriend attempted to open a XXXX XXXX XXXX account and the rep stated that she had to pay a past due amount owed by me at our address because of a roommate policy. So she paid the past due amount of approx. {$190.00} owed by me on XX/XX/XXXX. Thus satisfying my debt. I then noticed in subsequent months that my credit report reflected this balance that I had with XXXX XXXX XXXX was not resolved. I have made several attempts to resolve this with both the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and their Debt Collection Company Diversified Consultants. One of my calls was on XX/XX/XXXX I did not receive any resolution at that time. I placed another call was on XX/XX/XXXX at which time I was given a ticket number and told that in 5 business days it would be resolved and that I would receive a confirmation letter in the mail. I did not receive any letter about this nor any resolution. There was a 3rd call that I also placed which I was also given yet another ticket number and no resolution. Today I have called for the 4th time almost 2 years from the start and they simply generated another ticket number to string me along the same process yet again. They have damaged my credit for the past 2 years making it difficult for me to obtain credit from lenders, by continuously reporting an account in collections that is still outstanding at {$190.00} under the name Diversified Consultants. I have been sent back and forth between XXXX XXXX and Diversified Consultants who both say they do n't have the account and point to each other for me to get answers.

Complaint: Please assist, this has really been a problem that has been out of hand and I have also went through you in XXXX complaint # XXXX to get some resolve from this account and have been very unsuccessful. Where do I turn when I have tried all that I can and no resolve. My rights have been violated extremely with no updates, dispute responses account from XXXX just constantly keeps being re-aged and resold to several debt collectors and no updates have been placed on my account from XXXX or credit bureaus advising of my disputes or resolutions. No documentation what so ever has been furnished with signed contracts or dates from me to XXXX. Now, the debt that isnt mine has been sold to Diversified Consultants ( mispelled on XXXX ) and this game should not be allowed from them. I am contacting the BBB and citing several FCRA violations on my behalf. 30 days have passed 30 times and the previous inquiry I sent through you all is still showing OPEN, how can this be so? How can these harmful impacts on my credit not matter to anyone. Why is n't anyone forcing them to furnish information and or remove for good and never place back on my report ever again. I am hoping you can assist me in making this final goodwill gesture to allow correction of erroneous reporting, and I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with them for the purpose of filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals office, should their non-compliance continue. I further remind them that, as in XXXX v. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX ( C.D.Cal. XX/XX/XXXX ), you may be liable for your willful non-compliance. This is the second time that this debt has been reported to the credit agencies. This is also the second time that I am reporting this to CFPB. The first time was compliant number : XXXX. The first time the debt collections was reported by XXXX XXXX and this time it is reported by XXXX XXXX. They have changed the debt amount by {$1.00} apparently to get around the requirement that this is not the same debt. The debt belongs to : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MD XXXX My name is : XXXX XXXX, not XXXX, and I have never lived at the address in XXXX. I do not have any money due payment to XXXX, nor have you or anyone else contacted me regarding this overdue account. I have previously contacted XXXX about the debt and they responded through you saying they needed more information to identify me. The contact email address they provided was incorrect. I have already provided in the compliant sufficient information to identify who I am and my credit report. There is only one collection account in my entire credit report and that is from XXXX. Therefore, it should be obvious which collection account is incorrect. Also, the collection account records from XXXX are for someone with a different name and address to me.

Complaint: I have been taking measures to improve my credit the past few months. In XX/XX/XXXX I disputed a collection account on all three credit bureaus. The collection was listed as XXXX XXXX ( account # XXXX ) for {$180.00}, original creditor was XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have no knowledge of this account. My ( XXXX ) dispute results came back on XX/XX/XXXX with the results stating that the account was removed from my credit report. XXXX and XXXX also removed this account after completing online disputes. On XX/XX/XXXX, this same account, Original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$180.00} was reinserted on my credit report by all three credit reporting agencies. It is now listed as a collection from Diversified Consultants ( acct # XXXX ). I am not sure why this debt keeps resurfacing as it is not mine, and also I never received any notification in writing or otherwise pertaining to this debt or the fact that it would be added back onto my credit report.
