Complaint: I received a dunning letter in the mail in early XXXX of 2017 from a debt collection agency named diversified consultants. They letter claimed that i owed a cable company by the name of XXXX a past due bill in the amount of {$200.00}. Account # XXXX. The suggested that i pay their agency this amount of money or they will report this alleged account to the credit bureaus.
I responded to them with a letter sent certified receipt and notarized shortly after, in early XXXX of 2017, demanding that their agency send me documentation that they have power of attorney on this matter, that they provide other proofs that would give them legal rights to charge me with this alleged account.
They responded with a letter that did not provide me with anything that i asked from them. They just stated simply that it was my account and attached a photo copy of a bill from XXXX, which is not legally sufficient enough to allow this collection agency to injure my three credit profiles.
I checked my credit reports shortly after i received their letter and they did place this false account to they credit bureaus, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. They didn't even have my address 100 % correct which, by this alone would qualify for them to delete this alleged account. According to laws of the FCRA, everything has to be 100 % accurate that is being reported to credit bureaus. They did this in a unfair and deceptive manner because they did not provide any power of attorney proofs, they did not give me proofs of any legal documentation that they can do business in the state of michigan among other request i asked for in my letter that would give them a right to proceed in this type of manner.
As a result, they have injured all three of my personal credit profiles that will make it difficult for me to get approved for credit or anything else i may apply for that required a business to review my credit profile. I do not have any contracts with them for them to claim i owe them money, nor they have no legal proofs to represent any companies to demand money from me.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX Please provide me with a contract and my hand written signature showing that I owe you for this debt. If I owe this debt it is with XXXX and not you guys. I demand you to remove this from my credit report or show me a binding contract between you and me with my hand written signature that I have any obligation of paying you for the debt. I also want a hand written signature from XXXX showing that I owe them this debt. If this can't be provided I expect this to be removed from my credit report with in 30 days. A photocopy of a contract will not be substantial evidence as I need the original contract to prove that this debt is mine.

Complaint: I returned the XXXX XXXX items in their self shipping label and they are trying to collect for items that I returned. If they just go check their XXXX for the tracking number, they could prove that I sent it in. XXXX XXXX refuses to talk to me and says that I need to speak with Diversified. Diversified says I need to speak with XXXX, so they just keep pointing the fingers at each other and nobody wants to do anything. If they simply check on the tracking number, they will find that it was returned and this debt does not belong to me.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I cancelled my cable and internet with XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX I returned all of my equipment and received a confirmation from XXXX that it had been received along with serial numbers In early XX/XX/XXXX I began to receive calls from XXXX about a bill of {$160.00}. After looking into the matter with XXXX they told me it was a service charge for XX/XX/XXXX. After submitting proof I had discontinued services they said that is was for equipment. I again submitted proof and they said over the phone that this matter was resolved.
In Mid XX/XX/XXXX I began to get calls from a collections agency. After checking with XXXX they said they are no longer able to remove the charges since they were in collections.
After filing a dispute with the collections agency with proof, the derogatory mark was removed.
On XX/XX/XXXX the same derogatory mark reappeared on my credit score. I know it was the same because of the amount and the fact that I have never had another mark.
After filing a dispute with the collections agency, diversified consultants inc, I was not able to get a response.

Complaint: I had XXXX for years. When I was given a no-cause eviction notice because they were selling the apartment complex I lived in, XXXX assured me they would not charge me the {$150.00} early termination fee. I started receiving bills trying to collect the {$150.00} as well as threats to send it to a collection agency. I called again and was told I need to speak with the billing office. I called billing and was assured they would correct their error and they would credit the {$150.00}. I explained I am trying to buy a home and can not have this affect my credit. They once again, assured me all is corrected on their end and I will not receive any more notices. Well, the next notice I received was a hit on my credit report from a collection agency on behalf of XXXX, for the {$150.00} early termination fee. I called yet again ( probably 15-20 phone calls in all ) and they again apologized and said they have credited the {$150.00}, but her supervisor will have to send an email to somebody to have it removed from my credit report. Absolutely crooked company I HATE XXXX.

Complaint: Cancelled my XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. They created a new account in my name by mistake. This was fixed in XX/XX/XXXX, and confirmed by XXXX. However their accounting still send me to a debt collector ( again by mistake ). This was fixed in XX/XX/XXXX. Same info has been communicated to the Debt collector. But they do no care and keep calling me 2-5 times daily. When I tell them that the issue has been fixed they simply hang up on me.
half the time they are rude, and sound XXXX to be honest. I have blocked all the numbers they are calling from, but still calls are getting through from new numbers. I consider this as harassment.

Complaint: This is not my debt. This company is trying to collect a debt for a company that I have never done business with. They call me 3 to 4 times a day, while I am at work. I have asked them to stop more than once. They call from numbers that have the same prefix, just the last four are different, every single time. It is ridiculous. They can not provide proof that this is owed by me, which shows that it is not me, but they still will not stop calling. It has turned to harassment and it needs to stop. The company name is Diversified Consultants. When you look up the phone numbers though, they are all in individuals names. It shows that they are fraudulent. There are no contracts, paperwork, etc., to make their claim plausible.

Complaint: This company initially called and would not explain why they were calling me. When I said I would hang up if they did not state who they were & why they were calling then the female caller just said " okay '' and hung up. Today I got a collection notice from Diversified Consultants Inc ( same as the caller ) saying I owed {$28.00} for XXXX. I resolved the bill with XXXX years ago and closed the account. The XXXX bill was resolved after reporting XXXX with the FCC for poor service. I have not had XXXX for 3 years or more. I do not owe XXXX anything at all. After seeing reviews about DCI and seeing people say DCI is " taking advantage '' of the data breach of one of the credit reporting agencies I feel I may be getting scammed.

Complaint: I have been disputing with Diversified Consultants, Inc against this inaccurate and unverified collection account on my credit reports. I have sent letters informing them that I have no knowledge of an account with them and sent debt validation letters to each collection agency for proof and evidence that I am the person they are asking to pay this debt and a contractual obligation that legally binds me to pay the alleged debt to them. I have attached most of those documents that I have sent to them. I have yet to receive any response from them. 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) grants me the right to request validation of any alleged debt a business says that I owe it. It also states that upon receiving this validation letter, one must cease from collection calls, letters, and efforts and delete the account from my credit files until the debt can be validated. This is a clear violation of the FCRA. Also, the bureaus have been reporting collection agencies own the same accounts. With XXXX, as of XX/XX/XXXX, it shows that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX owns XXXX XXXX at {$360.00}. However, XXXX, as of XX/XX/XXXX, shows that Diversified Consultants collection agency owns XXXX XXXX at {$360.00}. It is a violation of FCRA law to report various inaccurate and unverifiable collection accounts owning the same accounts with different balances within the same 30 day period. I have included pictures of my credit reports to verify my claim on this. Please help me get these inaccurate and unverified accounts deleted from all three major bureaus and collection agencies. I have been fighting with them about these accounts for over three months.

Complaint: Back in XXXX of 2017 I disputed a debt with Diversified Consultants. I wrote a letter asking for verification bc I have no knowledge of this debt. Diversified Consultants deleted the debt on XX/XX/2017. Diversified Consultants has placed the debt back on my consumer file and also reaged the debt stating it opened on XX/XX/2017.
This company is deliberately commiting fraud and trying to collect on a debt that they clearly do NOT own, and then reaged the same debt that they could not verify back in XXXX of last year. All violations of the FDCRA.
