Complaint: I asked XXXX to come to my house and install a landline. A representative came but he had a hard time finding outlets ( I think - maybe the problem was different ). The costs were also unclear to me. I told him not to install anything - that I did not want their service. The serviceman was very nice and cooperative. He agreed. He left. Then I began getting bills from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$100.00} for service. I never had a phone from them. Never had a phone number that could even have been used. I called XXXX and spent hours on the phone. I was told that I did not owe them anything and that it had been taken care of - not to worry about it. I received another bill and repeated that process again - called - spent hours on the phone and they said it was taken care of. I received yet another bill and repeated the process AGAIN. I was also told not to worry and to ignore any further bills because it takes a while for information to move around the company. I just received a phone call from a debt collector : Diversified Consultants. XXXX I am being hounded by XXXX XXXX XXXX and it is THEIR mistake - not mine. I never received any service from them.

Complaint: XX/XX/2016 I request my credit report from XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I noticed that there was an impermissible credit inquiry made by Diversified Consultants , Inc . Furthermore they even furnished a debt collection item to my XXXX and XXXX Credit report. On Tuesday XXXX XXXX 2016 I sent notice of intent to sue, informing the company of their violations and requested that within five days they send me documentation of an application I 've completed for services, employment or credit from their company. It is Monday XXXX XXXX, 2016 and I receive a call from a representative at Diversified Consultants , Inc. who was requesting my information before they verified who they were. I received multiple calls from this number since XX/XX/2016 and when I would answer the phone it was always dead air. I never heard representative speak except for the call they made to me today. My main concern is that I never executed any services with this company and do not know who gave them my private information. This company has captured my identity and damaged my credit standing by invasion of my protected interest and by inserting negative items on my credit reports. I intend to follow through with private right of action.

Complaint: A collection company by the name of Diversified Consultants , Inc., claims that I owe XXXX on XXXX bill. When I got their letter of collection, I 've sent a reply with a dispute letter via USPS with certified/ signature required. I asked them to validate the debit, but what they sent me was a single page statement that is not sufficient to validate this debit. They even reported the debit of collection on my credit reports to all reporting agencies- they completely ignored what I 've asked from them.

Complaint: When applying for a loan with my credit union this XXXX, I discovered there was a collection listed with Diversified Consultants , Inc . I looked into the matter further, and it was in reference to an account that I had with XXXX. They were trying to charge me, after 2month of bad reception in my area, for not returning a phone to them. But I never received a phone from them. I bought my unlocked phone XXXX XXXX XXXX, on XXXX and ordered a sim card from the carrier. I explained this to the lady over the phone. She said that whether the charge was valid or not, if I did n't pay it that it would damage my credit. So I paid it in order to have it not harm my credit. I just had my credit checked again last week and I found out it is still damaging my credit. I tried calling them, and they said since I had paid them already it was a valid charge and I no longer have the option to dispute it. They never told me that I could dispute it when I called them in XXXX. They just wanted to make a profit. I asked them for them to provide my information showing that the debt was valid in the first place so I could go about disputing it directly with the credit bureau. They said that XXXX has this information, not them. So I called XXXX and they said they no longer have that information, but Diversified does. I called them back, and they told me the same thing. I feel like this company gave me false information, they are giving me the run-around and now I am paying the price for it by having damaged credit which is preventing me from getting a good interest rate.

Complaint: Last XXXX I was contacted by Diversified Consulatants for a debt owed by an unknown person named XXXX XXXX. Several calls were received and during XXXX conversation I was calld a XXXX by the agent handling the call. I advised during each attemp that the debtor was unknown to me and that they were calling the wrong person. Several months have gone by and I have started to receive these calls again. The first phone call I asked the agent to provide the name of her company and she refused. She kept asking if she had XXXX XXXX on the line and eventually hung up on me. I immediatley called the number back XXXX and requested a manager. After holding I was transferred to XXXX XXXX 's voicemail where I disconnected the call. I called again and spoke to XXXX XXXX who identified himself as an acting supervisor and refused to provide me with an actul member of management until I went through all of the various agencies I was contacting. I am asking that these calls stop once and for all. The supervisor that I eventually spoke with XXXX XXXX assured me that my number was being removed, however I have been told that in the past. This company violated TCPA as they are calling my cell without my permission and FDCPA by refusing to provide the company name, adhering to my cease and desist request and the use of vulgar XXXX slurs. I am feed up and there harassment is stopping me from completing my work.

Complaint: I keep getting calls from Diversified Consultants Inc. the calls are being made via their auto-dialer system. when i answer the call it says " please hold for the next available representative '' after waiting 10 seconds i hang up. finally i got frustrated on XXXX/XXXX/16 and called back, a rep answered and i asked him to cease and desist all calls and all future communication should be via mail. the rep interrupted me and said " i already removed your number '' and hung up on me. i called back and asked for a supervisor, guy came on the line and ID himself as a supervisor. i told him about his rep 's actions and wanted him to file a complaint. he barley acknowledged my complaint and proceeded to try and collect the debt! then he tried to coerce me into disputing the debt by saying that 's the only way we can stop collections activity against me. i tried to reason with him and told him i have worked in collections for 10+ years and i know FDCPA policy and CFPB policies. you think that would have slowed him down a bit. it did n't! i tried to explain the debt was placed in error but he continued to tell me it was n't and it was a valid debt. i tried to warn him about his company 's auto dialer system is calling my cell phone and probably others and the risk involved with calling cell phones. he was n't interested. he either wanted to collect the debt or coerce me into disputing the debt after i already told him i am not disputing the debt the debt

I disputed the debt with the credit bureau but they still still are reporting a debt that I know nothing of. I also realize that the debt they are reporting has not been validated and that it is a violation of the FDCPA and FCRA to collect and report debt that has not been validated. They have not and can not provide a contract signed by me taking ownership of the said debt or itemized bill showing how the charges came about. Complaint: I noticed in 2015 I had a debt {$940.00} on my credit report with XXXX XXXX. I 've never had such debt, I disputed the debt, contacted XXXX around XX/XX/2015. I was told it would be taken care of as soon as possible. So On XXXX XXXX, 2015 it was removed from my credit report. Starting around XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX I was harrased from by XXXX, threathen to ruiun my credit, and talked to in a demeaning way. I noticed a month ago the same debt is back on my credit report {$940.00} XXXX XXXX. I 've had some other unusual incidents that raise red flags for me, like getting a lot of mail from target, scholorship funds, in someone else 's name who lived next door. A employee from XXXX call my recently asking for me using my middle name, stating that someone left their phone in the store, I was puzzeld so I ask question but the employee became uninterested. I also had small charges appear on my back account. I 've had fraud alerts placed on my reports. All my identification was stolen from me and a police report was taken by the XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, XXXX I do not and never owed any cable company that amount of money.

Complaint: I noticed a collection on my credit report by Diversified Consultants from XXXX, FL. I had never received any information from them regarding alleged account, so I sent them a letter on XXXX XXXX, 2016 asking for verification and giving them my current contact information. I never received a response. I then disputed with the Credit Bureaus asking that they help verify the information or delete the account. The information came back verified, but as a paid collection with zero balance. It was then changed back to having the original balance and a status of " derogatory ''. I still to date have never recieved any communication from this company, nor have I ever paid or had a business relationship with them. The credit report states that the account was from a previous XXXX bill and I have verified with XXXX directly that I have no outstanding balances with them.
