Complaint: On XX/XX/2016 i spoke to Discover card about the fraudulent charges on my credit card the charges were taken off, but later on they were put back on my account.
1. On the phone the company representative told me that my phone number on the card account was changed. I never changed my phone number and up to this day I still have the same phone number.
2. Discover must have recordings of whoever spoke to them to change that number and allow for payments to go through. because when you call discover it says all you conversations will be recorded.
3. I was told to send an affidavit, and i did, several times, but Discover credit card told me they didn't receive it. I sent it three times via mail and also sent it via fax. I called the company and i was told that they have received it.
Discover credit card company does not want to deal with my case, they rely on their facts and do not want to consider that facts and the proof that I am sending.

Complaint: I was told by my discover card that upon their investigation that it was not fraud on my account, but the only thing that they base their facts upon is the facts that favor them. When i submit my facts to the company via fax, mail, email, by phone the company does not take them into consideration, they reply with things that favor them, as if they don't even look at my documents.
I was told that upon their investigation that the physical card was used 4 times near my residence on XX/XX/2016 but i am saying that i never used it and it was physically impossible for me to use it because i was in a different state at that time. If someone used my credit card, I do not know who it was, and its up to police and Discover Card to find out but to blame the charges on me is completely wrong.
I am sending proof of a airline company ticket that, not only the fact of me purchasing it, but the one that states that i actually boarded the plane and flew to another state, its an official proof that has confirmation numbers from XXXX. So if I was in one state and purchases with my credit card were made in a different state- thats fraud, that i as a customer is not responsible for.
I am also sending proof of an official receipt from a Limousine company that i was picked up from a hotel and dropped off at a studio for work in XXXX, WI.

Complaint: The Discover Credit card does not want to hear and consider that facts that I am showing about the fraud on my credit card.
As I explained to the representatives at the Discover that i was away for work my card was charged at several locations in a different state. There was also a charge from XXXX store and i was told by Discover that it delivered to my address.
1. I did not make the purchase/order from XXXX, which from what i was told was for 10 XXXX or so.
2. I did not give Discover permission to charge the card ( i was told by Discover that someone allowed the purchase to go through. ) 3. Discover card does not want to acknowledge the fact that i was away from New York in XXXX when the orders and the charges were made. I am sure it is possible to track where the order was made and how and by who.
4. THE MOST IMPORTANT. The only fact that the Discover Credit card relies on and does not want to hear me, is that the delivery was made to my address and it was signed for it with my first name.
I however several times tried to prove that i did not receive the delivery and i did not sign for it. The fact that the investigators, discover card and XXXX XXXX. can not find the suspect does not make me responsible for the charges.
I am sending proof of three official government issued Identification cards and each of them has my signature on them that do not match the signature that was signed for the delivery.
If discover claims that it was delivered to my address and signed, it could have been received by anyone, outside, in the lobby ( because i live in an apartment building ) in the hallway.
So it is up to investigators and Discover to find who made the purchase and who received it. Also for the XXXX company who delivered the package. If the package was for an amount over 10000 dollars they of XXXX products they should have checked who they were delivering the package to, by at least checking the ID.
Once again please hear and read my information and do not only rely of things that favor you Discover Card and make conclusion without ALL the facts.

Complaint: To improve our credit we opened a secured card by sending Discover {$300.00} and getting a XXXX card. After 2 years we received a letter stating that because we had done such a good job with handling the card, we deserved a credit card and our {$300.00} was returned and we were issued a new card. We used the card approximately 3 times when we then received a letter telling us that our card was cancelled because of inactivity on the card for the previous 18 months. We have no way of knowing what is going on.

Complaint: On or about XX/XX/XXXX, My concern is Loan issuers lack of comparison to the rate being charged to the rate to be charged for new applicants today based on the issuer 's pricing for new accounts. Further concerns ; their lack of compassion and consideration in following reasonable polices to give any help due to my Identity Theft crisis in XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, whereas my credit score to plummeted from XXXX ( GOOD ) to XXXX, POOR condition, as if overnight. Lacked Consideration refinancing current Loan amount {$3.00}, XXXX ; had original balance {$15000.00}, to lower existing monthly payments and increase the rate of pay-down. This would be achieved by reducing the minimum payment ratio from 10 % of the balance outstanding to 5 % for example or by offering payment holidays. The loan rate increases and arbitrary charges for services without consideration for whether the factors that led the card issuer to increase your interest rate still apply. Loan issuer proceeded down the path where factors that led to the increase no longer apply and failed to decrease my rate and follow reasonable policies in doing so.
This behavior deprived me of ability to meet Hardships & Emergency financial needs during Family crisis at this time. My inability to qualify for access to reasonable lending leads me to predatory lenders which causes the need for me to seek & qualify for Credit card Debt relief and/or Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy methods. Have been a long time customer in good standing since approximately year XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: I have an ongoing dispute with Discover Card since XX/XX/XXXX when some Unauthorized charges were put on my account. While Discover telling customers that they do not have to pay for any unauthorized charges, Discover accepted a charge in XX/XX/XXXX from a " merchant '' whom I had informed Discover not to accept any charge in XX/XX/XXXX when I realized the " merchant '' was a Scammer who tricked consumers to give credit card information for unintended charges.
The specific complaints are as follows : ( 1 ) Discover accepted charge from " merchant '' AFTER it was informed by customer Not to accept charge from the " merchant ''. ( I can stop payment on my check, therefore I should be able to stop charges to my account ) ( 2 ) Discover keep charging interests aand Late fees while the account is in dispute.
( 3 ) Late Fees werre charged by Discover despotically albeit the small amount that is claimed being owed. It totally disregards the complaints made by the customer of the outstanding balance.
Late Fee charged in XX/XX/XXXX = {$27.00} Late Fee charged in XX/XX/XXXX= {$37.00} The way Discover charges customer late fees would make Discover so much money that could be it main business! The Late Fees imposed by Discover is Unfair and Illegitimate! It is Usury in Disguise!

Complaint: I was charged interest on what Discover is claiming was a " cash advance ''. There is no history of a cash advance in any statement that I have. After speaking with a representative, they admitted that it wasn't a cash advance, but interest charged on a balanbce transfer offer that expired. I spoke with someone at their company before the offer expired and verified that my payments would be applied to the offer to pay it off in time, which they conveniently do not have any record of. They have also continuously charged me interest on this amount and have no applied any of my my monthly payments to this amount, which has resulted in over {$140.00} in interest fees that they refuse to reimburse.

I would like to place complaint on Discover Credit Card Holders.
I had Discover Credit Card since XXXX. For all those years I did not had any problems to pay my bills in tame and I used Credit Card wisely. In XX/XX/XXXX Discover start calling me during my working time and demanding call them back immediately. I an XXXX and during regular business hrs always busy with XXXX and do not want someone was listening my conversation with Credit Card Customer Service. I call them on Saturday in end of XXXX after I trayed make payments on my balance. I found that my on-line access was blocked. I contact with customer service to asking why I can not access my account and representative was unable to answer on my question. He and start tell me some story about Social Security Office requested to check my identity. I was laughing on this news and I asked to connect me with Manager. I was communicating with not sure whom and this person told me that Discover send me letter with questionaries and I MUST to fill up it and add a couple copies of bills and IMMEDIATELLY send it back. I agree and after I received letter in beginning of XXXX I did what they ask me and mail letter back. I was waiting for one week and no answers and my account still not open. I call back to Discover, because I wanted make payment on my account and due date was XX/XX/XXXX. Representative again gave me some nonsense about checking my identity. I asked WHY NOW? I am with Credit Card for 9 years without any problems. What happens why they behave this way and make me so uncomfortable??? I did not receive answer. Again, some manager explains that on my SS number was opened account with different name and address and they need investigate this and send report to Credit Monitoring Companies. Here I begin to worried about this news. I did not saw my account transactions since XXXX and I did not knew balance and could not see all transactions. I ask about balance and decoded pay off my card right away. Manager accept XXXX payment through phone. I ask send me hard copy my card balance and he promised do so. I was waiting for 2 weeks, no statement, account still block, so I was so upset and call Discover again. No one was able to tell me what going on and why I did not receive statement and they informed me that my balance now XXXX , I was o upset and asked open my access I want to see transactions on my account and make payment, I decided pay off all what I owe this company and close account. I told about this to some Manager not sure who and pay off through phone again and REQUEST to CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. I explain that I dont want have deal with this Credit Card company who keep assaulting me for no reason without explanation without respect. I cut off card and requested did not bother me again. I to weeks I received E-mail from Discover. They informed me that THEY were unable to verify my personal information and Immediately closed my account. They informed that my Credit Score Will be affected this and recommended contact Credit Bureau directly. I still did not received hard copy of my statement and I did not saw my transactions for 2 months.
Please help me understood and resolve this issue. I still did not know why they behaving this way. I have other credits card, Mortgage, Student Loan, Car loan and no one contact with me regarding those accounts or problems with my identity. What it was about? Why Discover insulting me and now trying spoil my Credit History? I need to understood this and I need to see my statements and transactions for XXXX and XXXX. I am Providing Discover Card E-mai.

Complaint: I paid for a watch with 2 day shipping so I could get it in time for XXXX. After the merchant took my money, they sent me a tracking number that showed that they sent it regular service, instead of 2 day, which ended up taking over 2 weeks. As soon as I found out I contacted the merchant and told them I paid for 2 day, and to cancel my order. They told me they could not cancel it since they shipped it, and I told them I do not need it if I can't get it before XXXX.
I contacted discover immediately and they initially gave my money back, and the item was never delivered to me because I left a note to the shipper to send it back.
A month later discover charged me back for the watch stating that even though they did not send it 2 day like I paid for, that was out of their control, so now I do not have the watch or my money. The merchant got their watch back and discover took my money.
Horrible business ethics and even more horrible customer service.

Complaint: I took out a loan with Discover Student Loans around XX/XX/XXXX. At the time the loan was taken out, Discover Student Loan transferred the servicing of the loan to XXXX XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX and Discover Student Loans informed me that, Discover was going to take over the servicing of the loan. Once Discover took over the loan in XX/XX/XXXX, I no longer received phone calls or statements regarding loan. My co-signer received all the phone calls instead of myself who was the primary borrower. During the month of XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with Discover roughly 5 times regarding the handling of the loan was advised the following : 1. My number was not in the auto dialier used by Discover and representative submitted a request to have my number manually added 2. Discover claimed that on the 2 separate occasions they attempted to reach me that my number wasn't going through their phone system 3. My number was included on the TCPA and therefore Discover wasn't allowed to legally contact myself ; however, I have a legal obligation with Discover Student Loan to repay the debt. During a phone call on XX/XX/XXXX I explicitly provided my consent to Discover to be called and communicated with about this loan.
I also asked for a complete signed copy of the loan agreement from when the loan was taken out ; however, Discover has not provided that to me.
