Complaint: Credence Resource Management LLC has sent me letters stating that they are illegally trying to collect on a debt that can not be verified per law. I have asked repeatedly that they either provide proper documentation or stop collection practices. They sent me a letter again with nothing more than a Bill page from XXXX. This does not meet FDCRA practices and it is violates section 609 of the FCRA as original documentation to support the account must be provided. No contract with signature showing this is mine has been provided. When calling the original creditor they have verified that the social security number on the account is not even mine. Credence Resource is attempting to try to hurt me financially without just cause. They refuse to stop contacting me as I have informed them in writing either supply what I have asked or remove the account and move on. As of today an official complaint has been filed with the State Attorney Generals office in Texas. I am now asking that the CFPB investigate their illegal collection practices. Remember the law is very straight forward on Collection Practices. I have repeatedly asked for the original contract that they must have on file and they refuse my request or simply ignore it. This debt is not mine, I am not going to pay it and yet they keep harassing me over this.

Complaint: They call me multiple times a day for a debt that was already taken care of. I have asked them numerous times to verify this debt, and their response is just the amount I owe. Then they try to barter with me and say if I can pay half, they 'll close the account and not send this to the credit bureau. Since they are haggling with me on what I can pay, and do n't verify this debt - I believe this is a scam.

I can see they received it but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. even the USPS tracking. Also attempted to credence resource management I sent it to the bureaus and they ignored it. Complaint: I had phone service with XXXX years and years ago. I worked at a company that I did not get service with for the whole time I was there. I wrote to them and advised them that they were not filling their part of the agreement/contract and if I could not get service at my job. I had XXXX other accounts in which I tried to utilize at the job and to my avail they did not have signal either. At that time my contract with XXXX became null and void. I advised that I could have a family emergency or anything that could transpire while I was away from my family and could not be contacted on any of the phones I tried there at the office. XXXX agreed to discontinue my contract with any fees included to be removed considering I had been a previous customer for about 7 years. It was n't a personal decision they could just satisfy my need. They have since taken off the fees and what was owed added them back taken them off and then added them back again. When they add information back to my credit report it is always in a different amount. It went from {$780.00} to {$640.00} and now {$390.00} has been added back to my credit report. I do n't understand how they agreed to have any charges credited from back in 2011 and now every time I lookup there is a different amount being added to my credit.

Complaint: The company is CREDENCE, the letter head address is bogus. It is a company in Texas, but difficult to understand foreign speakers. I have tried to send notification in writing and received a return to sender. However, since XX/XX/XXXX I have made payments to this same address and the payments are accepted. The above number is a fax number. They charge late fees and the balance grows.Current balance is XXXX with XXXX in interest for a total {$1000.00}. i pay them XXXX mo It is a medical bill from an ambulance provider for my child .The balance does not go down but continues to increase. They send correspondance every 60 days or so.
I have talked to several represenatives who tell me that the late charges and the calls will continue, if I do n't pay then what they demand. I have several bills from this incidence and I pay them regularly what I can afford, but they want twice the amount.
I ca n't afford what they want. I tried to write them to get a payment plan and my letter was returned. Recently I had one of them to tell me to have my daughter fax them a letter stating that they can talk to me about the bill. They demand my daughter 's cell phone number, she is a XXXX and will not be able to pay them. She do not have a job and therefore can not pay them. They call from different numbers, to include XXXX, XXXX,XXXX, XXXX and sometimes local numbers They call three times a day on weekends. promptly at XXXX to XXXX. I have advised them that this is harassment, but the calls continue.
