Tracking XXXX XXXX Sent to : Coinbase, Inc XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX , CA XXXX I emailed XXXX support on XX/XX/XXXX and got a response that they were will get back to me. Then on XX/XX/XXXX i called support and were told that they will eacalate the issue. Then XX/XX/XXXX i called again and was told there was nothing they can do for me and i will just need to wait.

Complaint: I have an account with coinbase, I have not had any issues until ~3 weeks ago when I was required to verify my account in order to sell a little Eth. I received a " Address did not match '' error. I have tried everything every day since ( 10 tries per 24hrs ), I even changed the address at my bank to make sure that it matches the one on coinbase. This is after I log in with 2 forms of security. I have e-mailed them, I have called them, the guy sent me an e-mail and the said that if that did not work to reply to the message and it go straight to him ( big lie ).
It is my opinion that coinbase is a very shady exchange, they need to be looked into.

Complaint: I originated a wire transfer on XX/XX/XXXX to a company called Coinbase to invest the money in cryptocurrency. I followed the exact instructions and wired {$4000.00} from my checking account to my Coinbase account. I confirmed with my bank that the wire was completed and also called the recipient bank XXXX XXXX XXXX who also acknowledged receipt of the wire on the XX/XX/XXXX.
As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, the money has not been credited to my account and all inquiries go unanswered. Complaint: A substantial amount of money was wired to XXXX ( Coinbase ) with the instructions followed down to every minute detail. The site states that transfers will be accepted same day if conditions were met. There was no warning of delays on the wire transfer page and my money has been missing for 4 days. Complaint: Wire transfer of {$7000.00} to Coinbase was sent on XX/XX/XXXX. I have checked with their bank in NY and the money was in their account as of XX/XX/XXXX. The website currently states that wire transactions are up to date and may have a 2 - 3 day processing time. There are still no funds posted to my account. There is no way to talk to anyone about wire transfers. I have sent an inquiry and an escalation request, the first onXX/XX/XXXXXX/XX/XXXX and the last one on XX/XX/XXXX through their support portal. Still no response.

Complaint: As of today I have discovered an email from Coinbase stating that they have restored "full functionality" to my account. While this is partially true, it is old news and does not come close to fixing this issues I've been having for almost a month. The Coinbase Exchange has failed to respond in a timely manner to assist with the overall issue I have been experiencing as far as reinstating my ACH Bank Accounts so that way I can buy larger amounts, sell and return money back into my bank accounts. I'm not very happy with the timing or the way this case has been handled since it all began; all I just want to do is have my Bank Accounts reinstated, but in order for that to happen, Coinbase Support has to reinstate them for me.

Complaint: Since at least XXXX XXXX, 2017 I have been trying to withdraw my money from Coinbase. I get an error that says I am not able to be found in public records, and therefore, am unable to verify my account. Since I am unverified, I am unable to withdraw my money. Even though I was unverified, the Coinbase system had no problem with me funding my account with over {$5000.00}. It let me put money in, but wo n't let me take it back out.
I have put significant effort into contacting Coinbase customer support to get my issue dealt with. Coinbase has simply ignored my request. In addition to that, I waited on hold for over 2 hours on 3 separate occasions only to have the customer service representative hang up on me after finally getting through. Also, the customer support representative did n't give me any useful information whatsoever and did n't even try to solve my case.
I would like to scan my Passport or Social Security card in order to prove my identity, so I can then withdraw my remaining balance, and then I would like to PERMANENTLY close my Coinbase account.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX 2018, I wire transferred {$9000.00}. Right after I got the funds on my account, Coinbase blocked my account and asked me to verify my SSN.
Since I do n't have an SSN, I have submitted my XXXX XXXX Passport to prove it 's me using the account, and I also submitted bills with my name on to prove that I live in the United States.
I have also verified my Valid U.S. driver 's license already in the past.
The problem is that I have been unable to reach Coinbase since I HAVE N'T been able to get access to MY MONEY ( {$9000.00} + pending {$3000.00} ) and MY FUNDS ( {$5000.00} worth of Cryptocurrency ). Total of {$17000.00} Whenever I call the Customer Service at Coinbase, all they say is " Please be patient and I 'd like you to have a good evening. '' They even hang up on me without my consent.
It 's an emergency since the money and funds in my account on Coinbase are all my fortunes. Thus, I ca n't even pay for the rent and other bills.
I know I 'm not supposed to include personal information, but since it 's an EMERGENCY that has to be resolved as soon as possible. I 'm including my info here.

Complaint: I place a wire to XXXX/coinbase for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX still havent receive my fund today. On their site it said fund will be available same day if wire before the cut off time XXXX XXXX PT. days later fund is still unavailable. Their customer support is unresponsive to this issue. Cant reach them by phone. I actually made a search online realize this is the norm and it happen to other customers as well. I wish the XXXX/Coinbase would provide a disclaimer. I hope they have a faster support team if they are providing this method of transaction. Customer that paid for wire transfer want their fund quickly not slowly. If they cant provide the support to resolving these issue quickly than dont provide the wiring option method.

Complaint: The complaint relates to coinbase. I have protected my account using 2-factor authentication. By switching my mobile device, the 2-factor auth in coinbase needs to be updated as well otherwise you will unable to make transactions anymore. It happend that my account was blocked and asked to unblock my account. I'm now waiting more than a week and all a got is sorry emails confirming my issue has been properly escalated.coinbase supportdesk doesn't allow you to do anything (no escalation via manager, no complaint management nothing). They just telll you you need to wait. but no reaction. It appears thousands of users have problems with accessing their money etc.I'm perfectly fine that coinbase has a great success to celebrate with new clients. But they block user's money by not doing anything related to i.e. my issue. Throughout a week I lost several thousand of dollars because I was not able to do transactions.Whatever they write as Terms and Conditions of use, this is actively blocking cash and coin outflows from coinbase. They actively decide to serve the onboarding of new clients first to promote their success and they absolutely don't care about existing clients.I'm an international client of coinbase (XXXX) but I have never come across such a treatment of customers. Don't get me wrong, whatever they write you is polite but they then don't keep their promises.This company is not mature enough to service financial clients at all.What options do I have?

My XXXX checking account was charged {$330.00} two times. I am attaching a copy of my statement for your convenience. I filed a dispute with my bank. Upon resoltuion of the dispute, Coinbase, disbale my ability to trade in my account. I started a case # XXXX and have made 4 phone calls with zero resolution. Furthermore, Coinbase FROZE my account in a highly volatile market. They have restricted my ability to Buy/sell/withdraw my current assets which include XXXX Litcoins and XXXX ethereoms. It is unconscionable to freeze an account and restrict a customer 's right to sell his assets. XXXX firms who work with XXXX face simlar circumatances all the time. They will restrict buys, but NEVER sells. This was a bank error caused by coinbase. As of the time of this writing, the value of my coins is down approximately {$1500.00} due to this account freezing. I attempted to sell the coins yesterday at a profit of about {$1000.00}.
