They verified that the wire transfer was received by XXXX XXXX.I contacted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. They verified that the wire transfer was received and stated that they sent the wire to Coinbase Inc. Complaint: Customer service for Coinbase will not reply to my inquiries. This is happening to thousands of people worldwide. I have thousands of dollars in my account, and ca n't access it until customer service responds to me. They have more or less locked up my account until they get to my issue.

Complaint: My account with Coinbase is restricted and is currently shown as negative ( -XXXX ) due to problems with my bitcoin buys from my XXXX XXXX credit card. Coinbase is not responding to my support requests. This problem was because two purchases were mistakenly disputed ( I have alot of purchases and mistakenly did not recognize two of them ). One was for XXXX and the other for XXXX The dispute of XXXX was ultimately found in ( coinbase ) favor and it was recharged to my credit card account. The other dispute of XXXX is still pending. Since the dispute was settled in their favor my account should be negative ( -XXXX ) and not negative ( -XXXX ). Due to Coinbase restricting my account I am unable to access bitcoins currently worth {$170.00} already in my Coinbase wallet because they want me to pay -XXXX instead of -XXXX. If they want me to pay XXXX to regain access to my account that is fine. However, they are trying to double bill me by saying my account is negative XXXX. Attached is proof that the XXXX was rebilled to my account. The first attachment is a secure message from capital one saying coinbase won the dispute and that I was re-billed. The second attachment is my actual credit card statement showing I was successfully re-billed.

Complaint: A month ago, on X/XX/2017, I tried to establish a merchant account with coinbase.com, so I could accept bitcoin payments from my customers. In order to finish the registration, one must undergo an ID verification step ( using a webcam or camera, or phone ). After more than a dozen attempts on different devices ( computers, laptops, phones ), different OS ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ), and different browsers ( XXXX, XXXX ) I am still unable to finish the ID verification process and hence establish my merchant account. The company ( Coinbase ) is not helping at all, I just receive automated responses from XXXX that do not address the issue. Several online forums ( such as XXXX ) are full of complaints about this, and many have reported this issue to you.

Complaint: I 've submitted multiple cases via Coinbase website, I was told that " they 'll follow up with me. '' I have yet to receive any information regarding my case ( s ). They disabled my account due to me verifying ID and address. I sent them my photo ID and address and I 'm still locked out of my account. I also contacted Coinbase Support via XXXX on X/X/2017 ; they replied with " A specialist will follow up with you soon. '' It 's almost impossible to get support from them. I 'm trying to remain calm and patient, but it 's frustrating when I have money in there that I ca n't manage. Coinbase is a solid app overall, but the customer support is unacceptable.

Complaint: Hi, I initiated a wire transfer from my bank, XXXX, to Coinbase two days ago. Wire transfers usually take a day, so I gave them a day before I called their bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX. Their bank said they have received the funds so I need to contact coinbase. I sent coinbase an e-mail but they just keep giving me automated responses. I searched online for people similar to my problem and it seems many people are having this problem for I do n't know what reason. Complaint: This complaint is against Coinbase Inc., ( www.coinbase.com ) who are currently holding my funds of {$3000.00} wrongfully.
On XX/XX/2017 I made a wire transfer from my bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to Coinbase Inc ( for {$3000.00}. The wire was successfully completed by the bank, but I did not see the funds in my Coinbase account. When I raised a support request, the support rep from Coinbase said they had rejected the wire as the account names did not match. ( My bank account is a joint bank account that has both my name and my husband 's name, I do not see why this was rejected ). The customer service rep from Coinbase said they will wire out the {$3000.00} back to my bank account and I should see the funds back in my account within one business day.
It has been four business days so far, and I have not received the funds. I have called up my bank several times and they say they do not see the incoming wire transfer. I have tried contacting Coinbase several times ( raised support tickets, messaged them on XXXX and XXXX ) but to no avail. They have not responded to my request.

Complaint: Hello, I have USD Wallet in my Coinbase account and I have made three transferences from my bank account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to my Coinbase Account. These transferences were made the X/X/2017 ( {$700.00} ), the second one was X/X/2017 ( {$300.00} ), and the third one the X/X/2017 ( {$2000.00} ). I can see the total amount is in my account but I can not buy or withdraw the money. Each time that I try to move it I get the following message : " Before you will be able to complete this withdrawal, you must provide additional information at https : //www.coinbase.com/ssn. '' I have provided several times the information that they are requiring but the system does n't recognize it. I have emailed them twice but I have not got any answers from them in a week. I am an XXXX XXXX with an XXXX, and I have a job XXXX XXXX, so I have a Social Security Number. I am hoping that they can verify my identity ASAP, since they were able to verify my identity through my Texas Driver License before. Thank you in advance.

Complaint: My complaint is with coinbase.com. About 2.5 years ago opened an account and purchased some virtual currency. I did try to access my account for about two years, until X/XX/17. During that time Coinbase had added new security features for account access. ( 2 Factor authentication. ) I was unable to access my account. I corresponded with XXXX and Coinbase by e-mail ( there is no telephone support ) until X/X/17 before I was able to access my account. ( Over 60 e-mails! ) Once I was able able to do so, I purchase set a monthly purchase for additional virtual currency. Two days ago I attempted to access my account and, again, was unable to do so due to the 2F authentication. I have contacted Coinbase tech support through their web site, but have not yet been contacted. The first time I was somewhat patient ( perhaps more than I should have been ) since I had not accessed my account for two years. But now I am in the same situation after 5 weeks. I NEED access to my account! Coinbase needs 1 ) to provide phone support to resolve these issues in a more timely manner ; and, 2 ) needs to reevaluate their account security methods. Security is fine if it prevents unauthorized access. But it is pointless if it also prevents authorized access by the account holder.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2017, I transferred XXXX bitcoins from my Coinbase " vault '' to my Coinbase Bitcoin wallet. As of this date the transaction has not been " approved '', leaving the money not accessible and unusable. The support team at Coinbase has not responded to my many requests for help or action on the problem. There is no way to get directly in touch with anyone at Coinbase. Complaint: Hi, This complaint is in regards to the company called Coinbase. I have a registered account with them. Basically, I have moved to another country ( XXXX XXXX ) and the only way you can log into your account is by verifying it via a text message. Since I moved, my number has changed too. I have sent them at least 3 to 4 emails saying that I have changed my phone number. The issue is the only way to change your number is you need to go through an ID verification process, which I have tried numerous times to complete. However, my ID is a passport and not a simple photo ID which is all they accept. So finally the only way to change it is to contact Coinbase, which I have done several times as mentioned above. The only response I have received is automated messages and nothing else. Now, recently I was able to locate my American phone number. I have then tried to log in but everytime I try they do not send the verification code. I am 100 % sure that it is the right number as well as I never had a different U.S. number. I have sent them an email about this too but I have yet to hear back.
