Complaint: I tried to withdraw the amount of XXXXEUR from my account at Coinbase on XXXX XXXX. They sent me an email mentioning that the withdrawal was initiated and the money would be appearing in my bank account by XXXX XXXX ( plus extra 2-3 working days maximum for my bank to process the deposit ). However, nothing has appeared on my bank account so far. I 've lodged couple of support requests to solve this ( one made on XXXX XXXX, other on XXXX XXXX ), and tried to contact them through their XXXX account starting on XXXX XXXX, yet had I received no answer from both channels. All the dates/time mentioned above are in central european summertime.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Coinbase, Inc disabled my account ( I use their XXXX app ) with no apparent reason. On that same date It tried to have the problem fixed on their website, and they mentioned that they needed to email XXXX, and include a picture of my driver 's license. I emailed them, and then I got and autoatic reply saying they no longer have email-driven customer support, but instead I had to go to https : //support.coinbase.comXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I once again, did that on the very XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I went again to the above URL and submitted another request for support/ticket as I Had n't received any response, nor resolution has been given to my issue. This is becoming frustrating as I have around XXXX ETH in my Etherium wallet, around USD {$1500.00} back them. I 've missed several opportunities to make some profit due to fluctuations on the ETH price. I believe Coinbase, Inc is not following proper customer support ( actually its support is awful ) for an institution that deals with people 's money.

Complaint: I submitted a purchase of XXXX ETH to Coinbase for {$2000.00} USD on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. The exchange rate applied at the time of purchase was {$280.00} USD. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email saying that the order had been cancelled. However, from the time of purchase on XX/XX/XXXX to the time that I was informed my order had been cancelled, the value of ETH increased to {$340.00} USD. Coinbase arbitrarily denied my purchase and costed me hundreds of dollars of potentials ETH gains in the process. I have attached the emails I received from Coinbase as supporting documents.

XXXXXXXX XXXX lists the wire as " Completed '' and provided the following reference and XXXX numbers : ONLINE WIRE TRANSFER VIA : XXXX XXXX XXXX : COINBASE, INC XXXX XXXX CA XXXX XXXX REF : XXXX XXXX : XXXX TRN : XXXX XXXX OUTGOING WIRE TRANSFER - {$5000.00} Both XXXX and Coinbase state the wire transfer will be completed and posted to your account withing the same business day if completed by XXXX EST. It has now been 3 business days. I have e-mailed CoinbaseXXXX support multiple times and have only received automated responses.

Complaint: My Coinbase account had verified my XXXX checking account and identity years ago. Recently after logging in and moving Bitcoins from my wallet to my vault I tried to move them back to my wallet. The transaction has been " waiting on approval '' whatever that means, for over a week now. I opened a ticket with their " support '' bot six days ago and have only received an email that says they got my request. No follow up, no contact. I found that one of the few things I could do in my Coinbase account was verify my bank account ( again ) so I thought maybe since it had been a few years I might have to do that. I started that process. They verify your account by sending two small sums of money. Usually a few cents. You then verify your account by verifying the amounts after you get them. They say it could take up to three business days to get the amounts. It has been four business days since I began that process and I have no small deposits in my account. I am frustrated because Coinbase " support '' does not support the customers. They do not respond to service tickets.

Complaint: I linked a bank account and transferred {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I was notified by Coinbase that the transaction was reversed due to nonsufficient funds. I checked with my bank, who confirmed that the transaction completed. I have emailed Coinbase everyday for over a week without any response. The only thing I receive is an automated message that they received my email message.

Complaint: I opened an account with Coinbase a US company and purchased a digital currency called XXXX and XXXX, I am a XXXX based Citizen and Resident. I viewed my account whilst travelling with my employer an international Airline to a country ( XXXX ) where I was staying for. Few hours at the Airport hotel. Then suddenly and without warning Coinbase froze my account and funds. I did not make any transactions just viewed the value of my account as one would with any other financial foreign exchange account. I have sent ID such as bank and passport details and have contacted Coinbase on many many occasions with just a computer standard response, please advise as there actions are very questionable.

Complaint: Hello, This complain is regarding Coinbase. I have over {$10000.00} cash that I have wired to my Coinbase account. They have indicated that they have accepted the wire and credited my USD wallet. I also have over {$8000.00} value of Litecoin and Bitcoin that I have purchased. Here 's the problem : I ca n't access any of it. They wo n't let me purchase more bitcoin. They wo n't let me take the money out. They wo n't let me do anything with it. They indicate ( via automatic notification ) they need to verify my identity. I have given them all the information they have asked for including a photo of my California Driver 's License. I requested help from support on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. No response from them other than an automated response that says " Due to increased volume it may take several days to receive a response. '' I have read online on other forums that other people are having the same problem. They are n't getting a response after waiting weeks. I do n't have weeks to wait to use my own money. It 's not right that I ca n't access it as they claim I should be able to do. Please help!

Complaint: Currently on XXXX XXXX I had a banking issue which ended up cancelling and refunding a out I had made through coinbase. They locked down my account due to it and asked for a resent payment which I gladly gave the information to recharge me what was owed. Over a week later and my account is still locked and I can not sell my XXXX like I have said. I have messaged on XXXX as well as there customer support cases and not one word back from them. I believe this company is fraudulent and fake due to not having any sort of customer support team nor a number to get i go contact with someone to help while being a financial company. This is horridous and have XXXX dollars of my money currently locked up.

Complaint: Hello On XX/XX/XXXX th I purchased Bitcoin through Coinbase with funds withdrawn via my credit union. The transaction was acknowledged on XX/XX/XXXX taking 5 full days and the funds seem to be in coinbase but there is a two tier problem, the second half which involves fraud. The initial amount deposited was {$1000.00} however shortly after my buy/sell option under the account setting shows 'buys disabled '. This has been going on for 3 weeks and I can not get the status to change. I have read various community blogs and many coinbase clients are saying they do respond but it takes a while. Nothing happened so I opened a ticket with coinbase on their support website only to repeatedly get the same response which was the robot did n't understand what I was asking or finally a response saying to leave a message on their support page. I did that at least 8 times and still no response thus my request for your help. The second part of this it where the fraud comes into play. XXXX XXXX of BitCoin Pro Trade XXXX AND XXXX XXXX XXXX ) contacted me and I honestly do no remember how he got to me. He seemed very knowledgeable and tried to help me move my account from disabled status. On XX/XX/XXXX he called and gave me three sites in New York that host Bitcoin ATM machines and told me to go to any one to withdraw my funds. Every location was at least 3 hours from me. He also tried having bitcoin deposit small amounts of coin into my checking account and asked me to verify when they post in my account. The amounts were small i.e., XXXX, XXXX etc. The amounts did not immediately post so he told me to call my bank to see if they were in 'pending ' within my account. Being a credit union my bank said they would not post for 2 to 3 days. The account was still stuck so he said the only way to help was for me to deposit another {$1000.00} into my account and he asked if I use pay Pal which I do not. And furthermore I told him I do not have the funds to do that. So he said he could n't help me but the one way left was to purchased XXXX gift cards from XXXX XXXX and give him the numbers on the back of the card. I did a quick check of XXXX cards and found they were used to deposit into cryptocurrency accounts so it sounded feasible to me. OnXX/XX/XXXX I purchased the cards using a credit card and called him with the numbers. Needless to say I can no longer reach him and my account is still disabled. I called my phone company and they verified that he had blocked my number. So now I 'm stuck with a {$1000.00} disabled account plus {$1000.00} credit card bill and needless to say I 'm very angry at myself but furious at him for taking advantage of my naivete. Complaint: On Tuesday XXXX, I successfully wired in {$5000.00} to Coinbase.com to utilize their cryptocurrency services. Since then, my money has been locked in their platform due to a defect in their identification system, and I have not been able to close my account and withdraw my money since. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to Coinbase support, I have been met with zero replies, and am extremely dissatisfied with their service and worried about the safety of my funds. Coinbase has shown no interest in helping me resolve this issue, and I am very worried that their " identification '' system is simply a cover up to steal my money.

Complaint: I got two emails from Coinbase on XX/XX/XXXX telling me that my two wire transfers, {$4000.00} & {$5300.00}, have been rejected because of a name mismatch ( my wife, XXXX XXXX, was the sender ) and so were sent back to the bank. But I looked at the bank account and personally called the bank to confirm. Coinbase did not wire funds back to the bank. I have repeatedly tried contacting Coinbase via XXXX, email, and phone without success. This wire transfer reversal should not take this long. What 's even worse is that the Coinbase website states that a wire transfer will only take one business day which is completely dishonest and misleading.

Complaint: I created an account with coinbase about 2 months ago. I put some money into some virtual currency, and I also verified my identity through their system. I sent them all the information they requested, and I had no problem so far. I have not tried to access the account from different places or anything. However, about a week and a half ago I tried login into my account and I kept getting an error regarding my account being disabled until I provided more information. The error reads : Dear XXXX Your account has been disabled. Please contact us at XXXXXXXXXXXX immediately and provide us with a copy of a photo ID and proof of your current address to regain access to your account. Respectfully, The Coinbase Team I tried reaching out to them by the email mentioned there, but they had an autoreply that was directing me to a different portal. I contacted there twice. Three days after I got a response saying that they are investigating the issue. It 's been 3 days more and there is still no response. I email them back and they do n't reach back to me. I have no other mean to communicate with them. It is just really inconvenient that this happens right when the price of bitcoin is high. I feel like there is no other means I can use to contact them and I am not sure what else to do.
