Complaint: I applied for a Mortgage with XXXX. They ran my credit through CoreLogic Credo. I contacted them to dispute and update information on my file. Of which they are a third party to the credit agencies. I requested the the Account Name listed on there report as Unknown be removed. The original creditor of which showed XXXX Cable had know such account for me $XXXX bucks. Core Logic contacted me by email indicating that my dispute was ready to view. The $XXXX bucks still reflects unpaid. So I called Core Logic and they indicated it came back as a XXXX bill from XXXX and gave me the number to XXXX to dispute. I called, I spoke to a gentlemen in the dispute dept. So now I have to start this process all over. He stated that this $XXXX is from XXXX. I once again explained the dilemma and he stated it hasn't been reported as a dispute. So today I have submitted another dispute with now XXXX of which could take another 30 days. For a company reporting on my report as "Unknown" collection agency. representing XXXX of which I do not have any outstanding balances with.

Complaint: An apartment complex that I was applying to uses CoreLogic to check the credit history of potential lessees. When I applied to the building, I was told that my application had been rejected due to an issue with my credit history. I immediately contacted CoreLogic to see what the exact issue was, and was told it had to do with a debt owed to a debt collector called XXXX XXXX. When I contacted XXXX XXXX myself, they told me that they had no record of such a debt, and that they had not provided information about a debt to any credit reporting agency. I obtained a letter from XXXX XXXX stating as such, and provided that letter to CoreLogic. CoreLogic has since deleted the false information from my record, however they will not tell me where they got the false information from in the first place, other than to tell me they got it from XXXX XXXX XXXX, a company whose " Contact Us '' page on its website links directly back to CoreLogic. I want to ensure that this false information does not exist in the records of any other company, however I can not do so if I do not know which other company to contact. I am also concerned with CoreLogic 's failure to reasonably ensure that the information it receives and disseminates is correct. While I understand that mistakes are made, it concerns me that CoreLogic had information supposedly from XXXX XXXX that XXXX XXXX knew absolutely nothing about. There should be some responsibility on CoreLogic to ensure that it is getting information from a reliable source before potentially damaging a consumer 's credit history.

Complaint: I have reported the information to the company. However, I did not receive a response. Unfortunately, I was the victim of identity theft. I have done everything required of me by law to dispute the fraudulent items on my credit report. I sent a letter to " Credco '' XX/XX/2014 via USPS certified mail. The company refuses to honor my rights under the FDCPA & the FCRA as a victim of identity theft to remove the fraudulent inquiry that was submitted without my knowledge, consent and/or authorization.
