Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Complaint: I have noticed that I have a hard credit inquire from your company on my XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX credit file that I did not authorize to acquire. As you probably know, Credit Reporting Agencies treat inquiries as a statement of fact and will not allow a consumer to dispute them. Since it is against federal law ( Fair Credit Reporting Act15 USC & 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) for an entity to view a customers credit report without a permissible purpose, I am writing to inquire as to your alleged purpose for doing so since I did not apply or request credit from your organization. Based on the evidence in my possession, this inquiry was performed under false pretenses as described in the understandable language of the law. 15 USC & 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) states, in part, in the case of liability of a natural person for obtaining a consumer report under false pretenses or knowingly without a permissible purpose, actual damages sustained by the consumer because of the failure or {$1000.00}, whichever is greater. I have filed a police report with the Sheriff 's Department XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2018 with a report number # XXXX for identity theft, Name and unit of Reporting Deputy XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is informing you that this was a fraudulent application and I did not authorize your company to pull my report. I do hope that we can settle this matter amicably. Please remove this hard inquiry from my credit report upon receipt of this letter to avoid further damage to my credit. Your immediate attention is appreciated regarding this matter. Please contact me if you have any questions. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX LA XXXX Email : XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I have contacted Credco in XX/XX/ and today, regarding a hard inquiry from a car dealership in Fl, that was placed on my credit file on XX/XX/, which I did not apply for. An investigation took place, only to come back as, the company who pulled my credit, was from an online application source. I even reached out to XXXX XXXX, and requested a phone call from the Finance dept and the General Manager and no one has returned my call yet as of today. I have documentation all this taking place inside the dealership, based on the email from the salesman. Keep in mind this is in another state, from which I currently live. Since this dealership, had the correct info to run my credit, nothing was done to delete this hard inquiry, but to refer me back to the credit bureaus to submit an identity fraud claim.I am exhausted with this process, because I am being dragged in a circle of lies, with no result.I currently have a freeze on all 3 credit reports due to me being a credit fraud victim. I am seeking additional help from your company, with removing this damaging inquiry from my credit report. Please help me. Thank you

Public record information inaccurate
Complaint: I am a co-applicant on an apartment. I currently own my home. On XX/XX/XXXX, CoreLogic sent an Adverse Action Letter indicating application was denied. They indicated that there are associated arrest records with my name in Florida ( I have lived in Maryland for 30 years ). They acknowledged the spelling was different and did not match up any other factors such as full name, social security number, nor did my solid credit history, employment history and other community standings matter. On XX/XX/XXXX, via email to CoreLogic, I sent my driver 's license to confirm the spelling and entire name was different and I forwarded Florida public records from Web searches such as XXXX to show it was not me. They admitted that the names being spelled differently should have indicated a non-match and so did the apartment community - both indicated this is rare. Was told I had to dispute or I would remain in their database as a criminal ( with 9 convictions ). After visiting XXXX, I see this is happening to many citizens who are shocked that this firm keeps them in their database as criminals once they are associated through the company 's algorithms and scoring as high risk. In the U.S., you are innocent until proven guilty but not with this organization. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, and after many calls to CoreLogic including the supervisor and his supervisor, there is not resolution. Not only does my daughter risk losing her apartment, but I may be considered a criminal in this firm 's database. I don't even have a traffic ticket anywhere.
