Complaint: I received attorney advertisements regarding a lawsuit filed against me on X/XX/2017 by Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC for {$250.00}. This is the first notification I received regarding the debt. I contacted Jefferson Capital t o find out who they obtained the debt from and found out that this debt is from a closed bank account from XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX . I have n't had any contact or made any payments to XXXX XXXX since closing the account. The statue of limitations to collect a debt in the state of Texas is 4 years after the last payment was received. I 've contacted an attorney that will charge me {$350.00} an hour to fight this frivolous lawsuit. If I lose, I will have to pay Jefferson Capital 's a ttorney 's fees as well. I plan on fighting this in every way I possibly can.

I was unable to contact the lawyers listed by XXXX XXXX XXXX as Jefferson capital Representatives, because not only I saw this letter today after arriving home after XXXX XXXX and I should not wait for this until next Monday, but XXXX XXXX is well aware of this problem, and they should contact Jefferson Capital also, but is not happening. XXXX XXXX has another complaint here about this, number XXXX XXXX , but this one I want to submit against Jefferson Capital and their representatives here in Puerto Rico.

I have never had XXXX , and I never received written notification that this item would be added on my credit report. I have asked for verification from this company, whose response was " they did n't have to provide anything. '' I have never had or signed any contract with either Jefferson n or XXXX , and this action is completely illegal and violates my FCRA rights completely. This action is causing disruption to my financial profile for creditors I am interested in doing business with by giving a false dichotomy of my credit worthiness.

Complaint: I rented my basement to a gentleman and without my permission or knowledge he intercepted my mail, got my personal information and fraudulently used my name to open an account. I called them and they refused to listen to me, instead demanded a form of payment. I am a single mother XXXX XXXX due to current health issues. I have no income, I even said if I cou ld get this resolved with a manager, they refused. They refused to acknowledge that I was not at that location. This is a fraudulent charge and needs to be removed from my credit report ASAP. I want this removed from my credit report, and the charge removed, this is a fraudulent account. I need to resolve this in order to provide for my family. Please report this company as unable to attend to customer needs and refusing to provide escalation when needed. Someone open this fraudulently and I called them and they refused to listen to me, instead demanded a form of payment. I am a single mother XXXX XXXX due to current health issues.
