Complaint: The 3 major credit bureaus ignored my request to provide me with the documents to verify the disputed accounts. As a result, this means that the items have NOT been verified or you can not verify any of these accounts under Section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) of the FCRA. The unverified items still remain on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. The credit bureaus are required under the FCRA to have a copy of the original creditors documentation on file to verify that this information is mine and is correct. In the results of your first investigation, you stated in writing that you verified these items as being reported correctly, yet no information has been provided to me. I have asked to be provided with the name of the individual, their business address, and telephone number of the individuals that were contacted to verify my accounts. The original letters were mailed out by certified mail on XX/XX/2019 and was delivered on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX for XXXX. Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, Jefferson capital Systems, XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX MN XXXX opened accounts in my name and immediately reported these accounts as unpaid debt. This was done on both my XXXX and XXXX credit reports. This debt was removed from my credit twice in the last year and several times over the last few years. It stemmed from a cell phone that I returned to XXXX during my 14 day trial over 14 years ago. I didn't keep their service as it sucked and returned the phone to them before my 14 day trial was up. These companies keep adding this old debt to my credit files, the debt is well beyond the 7 years allowed by the Fair Credit Reporting Agency. Neither XXXX or XXXX are verifying the information before they add this back to my credit. It has been REPEATEDLY REMOVED by both of these credit bureaus. I would like you to investigate Jefferson Capital Systems, as this is an unfair practice. 1 ) It is an illegitimate debt, due to the actions of XXXX XXXX, which I am assuming was the retail agent afraid about losing his commission. 2 ) I was never notified of this debt, I received a credit monitoring action after they already attacked my credit reports. 3 ) It has been removed repeatedly over the last few years. Complaint: Collection was incorrectly sent to Jefferson Capital Systems from XXXX after XXXX had agreed to nullify my contract after I moved to a location where XXXX did not provide service. Jefferson Capital aggressively and repeatedly contacted me asking me to pay this debt when I explained to them that it was not valid ( according to XXXX 's own contract ). The last time I spoke with Jefferson Capital, I offered a resolution which they refused. Now they are reporting this account to the credit agencies and using it as leverage against me. I am very disturbed by their lack of reason in this matter and now it is unjustly affecting me.

Complaint: I received at my physical address some advertising mailers from some attorneys who represent consumers who have a lawsuit filed against them by a creditor. The case number was on the mailer and I contacted the XXXX XXXX Court and they told me all they had was the summons, complaint filed by the entities attorney, etc, but no documentation. I have no idea who this Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC is and when I looked them up online, I learned they are some kind of debt collector. I tried contacting the number on the website and all I get is an IVR prompting me to enter an account number. As I have no idea who these people are and can't seem to get into contact with them, I ask that the lawsuit would be dropped. I am not claiming a debt I don't know of.

Complaint: I had an existing phone bill on my credit report for about 3 years and the claim was legitimate, until I paid the debt on XX/XX/2018. I contacted my bank and asked how I could better my credit score, and they informed me I could pay off old debts. They provided me with all the phone numbers of the companies I could contact. I paid {$74.00} on XX/XX/2018 to XXXX XXXX and I have bank statements that verify my claim. I have provided my documentation to XXXX and they will not display this debt as paid. I do not dispute that this debt once existed, but it was paid in full 15 months ago.

Complaint: Just received a text from a 3rd party stating they received a call from Jefferson Capital asking for me and that Jefferson capital provided the 3rd party my name and last 4 of my SSN. I have not received any mail / communication from Jefferson Capital this is the first time I am hearing of this. I called the number the 3rd party gave me and the gentleman stated they called that number looking for me and thought it was me and that they are sorry! Then started are you going to make a payment. I advised that I am filing a complaint because they have not notified me of the debt, they have not given me the opportunity to request verification and that they have violated my privacy by providing A 3rd party private and confidential information about me.
