Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Cavalry Portfolio Services was contacted via mail by me because they sent a letter claiming that I owed an amount of debt. I sent them a validation letter to prove this amount because I do not owe this debt. The information was removed off all 3 of my credit reports. Now I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX about this same unvalidated debt and according to the date of XX/XX/XXXX as the open date listed on the letter, this debt has reached its statute of limitations. This debt remains unvalidated and it has expired but this company keeps contacting me regarding this debt saying it will resume collection efforts. But at the bottom of the letter, it states that due to the statue of limitations they can't sue me for the amount.
