Complaint: I had an US Airways card with Barclays and have not carried a balance in years. I missed the statement that had my annual fee and they subsequently charged me XXXX late fees and interest on an annual fee and compounded interest on the late fee, this violates Reg Z and CARD Act. They reported me 120 days late and have caused severe damage to my credit report. Again, no purchase was made it was all money compounded on a {$75.00} annual fee that came out to {$250.00}. I have paid this because at the time I did not understand my rights, I want a refund and all late notices removed from my credit.

Complaint: A fraudulent charge appeared on my credit card. I have been trying to get Barclay 's to address this issue. I have sent XXXX letters and called XXXX times. I have not received any documentation from them, any notification from them, nothing. When I call to try to find out what they are doing I get the run around. They are trying to drag this out past the XXXX period where I can dispute the charge. They have offered no explanation and no help, I just keep getting bills and when I call to ask what is going on I am told the department that handles is " is n't answering their phones. ''

Complaint: Tried getting a credit line increase on my Barclay card but had to go to their security to verify my identity. They initially pulled XXXX but then I had to talk a different representative and they pulled XXXX too and I want the hard pull removed from XXXX. I 'm very livid that they would chose to do a different pull from a credit report despite the fact that I had only asked for the standard XXXX pull inquiry. They did not inform me that they would n't be using the same XXXX inquiry from the same day but pulling from a different bureau.

Complaint: I am submitting this complaint on behalf of my son ... my son is in XXXX several months ago ... my son received a letter dated XXXX XXXX. 2015 from Levy and Associates..they were attempting to collect a debt for a total of XXXX ... I immediately sent them a cease and desist letter dated XXXX XX/XX/2015 ...
I stated in this letter that my son in no way shape or form has XXXX and has a surmounting pile of medical bills due to his XXXX at the moment..he has no income coming in at the moment and literally has no money..and does not need this stress of a debt collector hounding him..the letter was signed by myself and.my son as well with some assistance..today..XX/XX/XXXX I received another letter from the same business..Levy and Associates dated XXXX XXXX still attempting to collect from my son who is still in rehabilitation for a tottal of XXXX ... so instead of sending them another cease and desist letter I am filing a complaint with you in hopes of getting this issue solved..

Complaint: I filed a previous complaint against Barclay regarding an offer I appliedfor and was accepted by them on XXXX XXXX, 2014, for a credit card0 % interest for 14 months. I received no email from them as I was told Iwould verifying the terms, nor did I receive anything through the postalservice. Upon receiving my XXXX statement, there was no interest charged.
on that statement. On the XXXX statement, there was. I looked and sawthat I was being charged a rate of 24.99 % interest. I would NEVER haveapplied for any card with that kind of interest. I did n't need the card, but Ithought 0 % interest for 14 months was a good deal. You sent me anemail with a link indicating I could see the response from Barclay. Theonly thing it shows is that it is " processing ''. There is no other responsefrom them. I received a phone call from a woman, whose name I did notmanage to write down, telling me she was going to look into the matterand get back with me. She called me a few days latter, assuring me that, indeed, this is the rate I would be assigned and that this offer was notmade to me by Barclay, that it had to have come through XXXX XXXX.
I figure she obviously knew that offer was out there, or she would n't haveknown it came through XXXX XXXX. Your report says it is " processing '', while her indication is that Barclay has finalized their review of the matterbecause she told me they would not be able to put the 0 % interest on theaccount. Again, I was misled when I applied for this card. I do n't knowwho made the offer, but it certainly appeared to be made by Barclay. Icompared it with XXXX XXXX XXXX cards, a XXXX card, and a XXXX. I did n't bother to compare it with a XXXX XXXX XXXX card, as I don'tlike XXXX XXXX XXXX nor do I trust them. I no longer trust Barclay, either.
All of the cards I compared had either a 0 % interest in some form, no feeor no balance transfer. I chose Barclay because of the 0 % interest for 14months. Again, I have the documents to prove my assertions. I amunable to save them to my computer hard drive files, despite manyattempts. No doubt, Barclay has a good reason for that. I can provideprinted out copies, however.

Complaint: Carnival/Barclaycard Master Card was never received, The account was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX. The error was the address was incorrect and no billing nor XXXX was ever received. The total amount is XXXX, XXXX sent me copies of the bills. I called Barclay and spoke to a XXXX XXXX who told me he had the correct address. I had made payments toward the bill. I request to speak to a manger and no one has called me back. I owe for a acupuncture session, not sure what else it totaled to the amount. My credit score has changed, because of this error. My credit cards credit amounts are being reduced. I am sure all of the billing and master card had to be returned. I am mailing out today letters to Carnival and Barclay and XXXX of the error. I am requesting that corrects are made to clear this problem. I would like XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX 's, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX card to be advise of this mistake/error on behalf of Barclays Cards or Carnival card services.

Complaint: Barclay issued me a credit card that I had no idea existed, I never activated it and of course never used it since I did n't know about it. Got an email stating there was a past due balance, called to figure out what happened and was told a 60-days past due was automatically reported to the credit bureaus. They cancelled the account ( apparently ) and zeroed out the balance, and confirmed it was a bank error. However, they ca n't tell me what they are able to do to correct what is now a negative credit history reporting. They will not get me a letter stating it was ( a ) a bank error ; and ( b ) my credit history with them is in good standing, both things I need to now submit to the reporting agencies. I have spent about 6 hours dealing with this error, because my credit history is excellent and I do n't want this error to ever be reported. They claim that their process is automated and they ca n't do anything about it. I spoke to supervisors who claim that there is no one else I can speak with to get results.
I just want this corrected immediately, because timing is of the essence. If it is not corrected, then my credit score will go down and it will take months to correct it.
All of this for a card I knew nothing about, and never received.

Complaint: I received a voicemail informing me that my XXXX 's MasterCard was flagged for fraud, and that there may be a hold on my account. I was instructed to call XXXX XXXX XXXX, the same number that left the voicemail. Upon calling, an automated message prompted me to enter my credit card number. I was immediately suspicious, as I do not hand over personal information to a phone number that I did not obtain through a legitimate website and/or company. Instead of entering my credit card number, I repeatedly pressed XXXX and *, as most automated messages will direct you to a human representative when this occurs. The automated message responded that my card number was not valid, and to try again. This process repeated XXXX times until the automated message informed me to call back with my credit card details readily available and I was disconnected. At this point, I contacted Barclay cardmember services using the telephone number provided on the back of my credit card. Upon reaching a representative, I was informed that no fraud had been associated with my account and there were no holds. I was also told that they have been receiving calls from members and nonmembers regarding similar situations. Clearly, the original message I received originated from a phishing attempt.

Complaint: i closed a master card account, financed through rci barclay 's bank usa, on XXXX XXXX, XXXX the account was paid in full. i just received a billing this month for XXXX the reason i closed the account was spurious billings of this type. i just called the bank complaint number and received an unsatisfactory response. the phone call was ended pre-emptorialy without resolution.
