Complaint: My real estate property tax was not paid by either mortgage company, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( OLD Acct # XXXX ) or Bank of America XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX ). My tax payments are escrowed. I have an outstanding NYS Property Tax bill of {$1000.00} for XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/2016 My mortgage was transferred XX/XX/2016 from SPECIALIZE LOAN SERVICES ( I 've made complaints about this company in the past ), to BANK OF AMERICA. Neither mortgage company paid the property taxes. My last XXXX XXXX XXXX annual escrow statement shows a payment of {$410.00} paid out but to whom? XXXX XXXX XXXX or Bank of America has to pay the taxes out of the escrow. The mortgage payments I made included the XXXX tax payments already. Where did that money go? I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. and was hung up on, Im guessing because I called close to closing. She could have called me back. Their customer service was never great. I called Bank of America and was told to call XXXX Services. I am given the run around. Please make them pay my XXXX XXXX tax. I already paid through mortgage payments. Complaint: I have been sending money to XXXX to take care my mother who has XXXX XXXX via my sister 's account in XXXX. Recently, I have used Bank of America, first one on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and noticed OTHER FEES charged {$15.00}, {$15.00} and {$20.00} respectively on top of transfer fees {$45.00} each. My sister was able to get the document from XXXX Bank showing the actual amount each time it went thru and it was less deposited due to " OTHER FEES " as above. I asked Bank of America what is that for? It said Intermediary Bank Fee. I asked which intermediary Bank was it? It ca n't answer me. That was the answer from the " wire room specialist '' The XXXX statements showed It went straight from Bank of America to XXXX Bank minus OTHER FEE CHARGES every time, NO Name of other Bank i.e. third party bank showed.Why am I getting double dip from this big bank? It is WRONG. My friend used XXXX and no other fee charges with XXXX for wire transfer.

Complaint: I applied for a Bank of America XXXX card while purchasing airfare with XXXX. I was told that if my credit score was high enough I would be approved immediately and the benefits would apply immediately. The fact that there was a high annual fee was not noted unless you clicked on another link that I was told was there but I did not see. My credit score is around XXXX but I was not approved for the card so I did not receive the benefits. Then weeks later I was approved and given the {$75.00} fee. I complained but they refused to subtract the fee and cancel the card.

Complaint: I have already complained about Bank of America, in tracking number XXXX at this cfpb website. What I complained about were ( from memory now ) 2 things ; 1 was they accepted us into a program to modify our home loan, but dragged it out, while deceiving us, in my opinion, and at the same time confused the heck out of the issue by approaching us thru both avenues from their Legal Dept and Mortgage Dept. They played us and deceived us. - Then, " BANA '' sold our file to XXXX Bank.
It is perfectly legal, i 'm sure, for them to sell our file, but, a new problem came up when BANA 's contract legal entity responded to my complaint by saying first that, as if, for a fact that I " acknowledge they were no longer had custody of ; or in ownership, or control of that file - and I objected - yeah i was angry and it showed, and i 'm sorry to snap back but, there is no way I could have acknowledged that the file was indeed out of their hands and transferred to XXXX Mortgage services, without having seen the legal proof of that. I called them and their work and claims " sloppy '' for claiming i acknowledged a " fact '', when, all I could acknowledge was that BANA actually only TOLD me the file would be transferred on XX/XX/XXXX. My original complaint with them was on XX/XX/XXXX. - I was so angry, because it seems everything that used to be good about the USA has been reduced to relying on ignorance and stupidity.. eg : Our 4th Estate ( Journalism & News ) : When they can not get details correct and get sloppy, as in : " The White House knows exactly where the WMD in XXXX are '', vs the FACT of the matter : " The White House SAYS they know exactly where ... '' Am I losing my mind? -- That contract law firm should have responded to my anger by THINKING about it, and deciding to be sure that all the i 's were dotted and t 's were crossed, and that the " Bill of Sale '' or whatever it is called was fully complete, error-free, and legal .... And then respond, and even send me a copy showing the account number, the street address, city, state, - their name, my name, the receiving bank 's name, all spelled correctly so that I can see the proof required for me to " acknowledge '' a transfer went thru and was fully legal.
My middle initial is " XXXX '', and what XXXX used for my middle initial was " XXXX ''.
I have a red flag there, and i want to be sure the note is complete and legal, or I will have nightmares forever that " BANA '' will come after me in 10 years, saying they made a mistake, and the file was never actually sold afterall, because of a typo that showed my name incorrectly, thus null & void and whatever money i paid to XXXX in the meantime was my responsibility to go after, but that " BANA '' wants payment in full.
I am not an attorney, but if names and details on any bill of sale are not correct, then in my limited awareness of these things, it was a bogus transfer.
Therefor, note to " BANA '' - Show me the legal note of sale for that file. Make sure all T 's are crossed, I 's dotted, and redact the sale price, or terms if you must, but show me the proof the file was legally transferred, and never be sloppy with facts ever again.
IF i have to come after BANA with some legal force to do this, it eats into my funds I have been saving to prove all these years that we can qualify for a loan modification with XXXX, if that note was legal.
Seriously, I am not a lawyer, but i expect nothing less than professionalism when it comes to professional people, especially legal people.
Show me the proof the file was legally transferred, and do n't expect that BANA word is an acceptable substitute for the factual truth - Why is BANA contract legal this sloppy? Is it an industry-wide problem??

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I received a correspondence from Bank of American stating that my credit card account ( XXXX ) is being closed by the bank for irregular activity. My credit line is {$47000.00} and I made a small purchase around {$3000.00} at a local liquor store. I called and spoke to a manager in the credit department and what I was advised was that the merchant where I used it at was a red flag, therefore the bank decided to close my account, and final decision is that they will not be able to reopen my account. I feel that my credit card account is being closed for a reason that is out of my control, and it has nothing to do with my credit, nor financial status. I believe no individual has control and knowledge as to where to use a credit card that is not a concern for Bank of America. I will like to have this information reviewed and I strongly request to have my account reopened so I may be able to continue my relationship with Bank of America.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I refinanced my condo with XXXX
When they had the appraisal done, it appraised for {$620000.00}. I had several financial obligations that year, because of a nasty divorce. They told me I had to have a XXXX XXXX Balloon loan, with the Bank of America. I have had this loan since XX/XX/XXXX. The principal balance is {$75000.00} at a interest rate of XXXX %. My payment is {$650.00} a month. {$110.00} goes to the principal and {$530.00} is interest.
I have banked with the Bank of America for XXXX years. I have had several credit card accounts and this loan. I paid all the accounts off and never missed a payment on this mortgage loan.
I was forced to retire in XX/XX/XXXX, because of a buy out. I 'm living on Social Security and a small pension. I called the bank to refinance my loan. They told me that I could n't refinance, because I 'm not working.
She said the only thing they could offer me was a modification plan. I filled out all the information they needed in XX/XX/XXXX. I finally received a letter of congratulations!!! I was approved for a XXXX Amortization Modification Program.
With a XXXX month trial payment of {$290.00} stating that my monthly payment amount may change over the life of my loan and could be higher than the initial monthly payment. The interest rate stays at XXXX % and my credit score can be affected by entering into a trial period or accepting a permanent modification.
I have not paid the trial payment, because I do n't want my credit affected and I do n't agree with this plan.
The bank told me the only option I have is to appeal the modification.
I called to appeal, and was told there is n't anything I can do!!!!! I asked XXXX about XXXX years of loyalty to the bank. He told me that even if I was in foreclosure or missing payments I would be treated the same. He said that the bank treats everyone the same way!!!!
The banks were given options when they were bailed out. I 'm XXXX and worked hard to maintain my credit. I feel they are holding me XXXX, because they can!!!!

Complaint: RE : Bank of America HELOC account number XXXX Bank of America has de-listed my HELOC account from my login into their website to make payments. They also quit sending me statements. I have spoke to them and they requested assistance and complied with sending them the information pertaining to paystubs, bank statements, etc. which I have provided to them. I have proff from USPS tracking they received them. However, they will not contact me to let me konw the status since I am unable to view the account online or see any statements via USPS mail since they discontinued that. I would like to know the status of my HELOC and what I can do to get it restored, however they are not compliying. Due to my long work hours XXXX - XXXX Monday through Friday, I am unable to receive or make phone calls during those hours. Therefore I 've requested they send me updates via USPS mail or email and they have not. They request that I call them, which is impossible due to my work.

Complaint: This is my 2nd complaint I 've filed on Bank of America 's Mortgage Loan Department regarding my Home Loan Modification. This time, I was APPROVED for both of the programs in XX/XX/XXXX for the Federal Housing Administration Home Affordable Modification ( FHA-HAMP ) Modification WITH Partial Claim. But, then Bank of America REVOKED MY APPROVAL AND REJECTED MY ELIGIBILITY ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PROGRAMS AFTER MY 1ST PERMANENT PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED AND ACCEPTED IN XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX started my first of the 3 trial payments and XX/XX/XXXX was the 1st month starting my 1st PERMANENT loan payment which was made and received. Not until after the payment was processed did I find out that " Bank of America regrets to inform you that you are not eligible at this time for Federal Housing Administration Program ( FHA-HAMP ) Modification with Partial Claim for the following reason ( s ) : " We did not receive the required signed loan agreement documents by the specified deadline. '' First off, I submitted the required documentation needed and followed all explicit instructions to notarize correctly at the Bank of America location nearest my home and had the paperwork FEDEXED overnight back to the address requested. I CONFRIMED RECEIPT OF THIS PACKAGE AND DOCUMENTS BY A BOA REPRESENTATIVE IN THE NAME OF XXXX ON XX/XX/XXXX VIA A TELEPHONE CALL THAT I MADE TO BOA. This is the ONLY COMMUNICATION I 'VE HAD WITH BOA since I received the approval/eligibility letter for the programs back in XX/XX/XXXX. It has been a pulling teeth battle to get in-touch with ANYONE much less my said, " CRM '' ( which I outline the timeline of events that my application has been tossed around between representatives ) and have been WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION FOR MONTHS REGARDING THE STATUS OF MY APPLICATION NOR RECEIVED ANY RETURNED CALLS FROM MY REPEATED MESSAGES LEFT FOR MY CRM 'S ECT. Thus, one evening on the night of XX/XX/XXXX my neighbor knocks my door to deliver a standard-sized letter from BOA addressed to me but received by him at his address. This is the denial letter DATED XX/XX/XXXX rejecting me of my eligibility to the programs stating they had n't received my loan documents thus resulting in the denial of the permanent modification programs previously approved for. The letter also stated I had 30 days to appeal this decision which in turn had already passed on the night of the XX/XX/XXXX when I was first notified. I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED BOA THE NEXT MORNING ON THE XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to Mr. XXXX, a representative on behalf of my said CRM at the time named, XXXX, ( whom I 've never heard of ) because she was " unavailable ''. I explained the situation and pleaded and begged for an explanation of the events that have occurred and for some reason have missed and were uninformed of until then. Mr. XXXX explained, my documents were received by BOA on XX/XX/XXXX and were said to have 2 pages notarized incorrectly and were to have the corrected documents SENT BACK and RECEIVED no later than XX/XX/XXXX! Since they were n't received the letter drafted on XX/XX/XXXX by BOA was apparently MAILED VIA USPS REGULAR MAIL and delivered to the wrong address, hence resulting in my failure to be notified. Furthermore, I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING REGARDING THESE INCORRECT DOCUMENTS NEEDING IMMEDIATE RECEIPT BY XX/XX/XXXX! Complaint: After the death of my mother, I was forced to stay with some friends of my mothers. They learned that I was going to come into some money after turning XXXX from the death of my father when I was XXXX. I was in the accident that killed him and received a XXXX XXXX XXXX from the crash. The people I was staying with talked me into receiving a lump sum payment from XXXX. The money was deposited into an account with Bank of America. XXXX man that I was staying with, went with me to the bank while receiving the card, and must have overseen me creating the pin. He then took the card from me and then kept it to himself. He was known to carry a weapon and I was intimidated into not saying anything. Over the next several months, he was withdrawing money from my account. I was finally able to get in touch with my sister that lived in NC after she had filed and missing persons report and had the police come out to look for me. After the police had questioned me, ( I was too scared to tell them I was unable to leave and needed help ) the people decided that I should just leave and go to my sisters ( I found out later that they had already withdrawn all of the funds from my account ). After arriving in NC, my sister helped to file a report with Bank of America and the police about what had happened. The police said they would look into it, which has n't resulted in anything yet. Bank of America refunded XXXX and said they were unable to do anything about the rest of the money. Around XXXX was removed fraudulently from the account in total.

Complaint: In XXXX Bank of America gave us a line of credit. During the recession XXXX we started to draw funds from the line of credit. When the amount drawn totaled {$72000.00}, Bank of American withdrew the facilities and demanded payment of the balance. We were unable to meet the demand. XX/XX/XXXX, Bank of America obtain a Judgment of {$97000.00} against XXXX parties. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX we offered through the Bank attorney 's office to settle the judgment in full for {$40000.00}. We made the payment of {$40000.00} and received an acknowledgement that the payment was for full settlement. The Bank accepted the offer and instructed their attorney to draft settlement documents and the release of all parties. Two weeks later the bank reneged on the agreement. They stated they would change the terms for the agreement they had previously given their consent.
They now will give partial release for only XXXX of the XXXX parties. We stated that they can not change the terms of an agreement after they had accepted {$40000.00} check for settlement. Nevertheless Bank of America proceeded to change the agreement and insisted that we sign a statement confirming that we had willingly and voluntarily accepted the violations to accept that partial release the bank again insisted that we sign a document require us to abandon all legal rights. We advised the bank through their attorney 's office that these documents were signed under duress. On XX/XX/XXXX Bank of America sent us a demand notice demanding {$66000.00} as final payment of the agreement they violated.

Complaint: I have a checking account with Bank of America and i realize a fraudulent activities has been going on at the hours i 'm at work which cost me a lot of problem, like missing my Creditcard payment, Auto Insurance payment and my rent. I called the bank and told them all that was going on and the provided me with a temporary credit. Bank promised of carrying out investigations over the transactions, only for them to say my claim is closed and investigation is completed, telling they see i was the XXXX authorizing the transactions.I ask how would i be so stupid to spend my money and still come back to the bank and claim something that i spent.I went in to the bank on XXXX/XXXX/2016. I had a word with the Relationship Manager in the name of XXXX. He put me on the phone with the claims department once again and they said they will reconsider the investigation. Letters from the bank came through the mail with the same line they used " We completed the investigation and we realize the transaction were authorized by you, So therefore, all the credits that was provided will be debited off my account. As at today XXXX/XXXX/2016 at XXXX I checked my account balance via mobile banking and i see a negative balance of ( $ XXXX ) and this is unacceptable. Imagine a bank representative asking me if i want them to prosecute the person using my card ... I replied with a yes and i should n't tell them to do that. I believe they should know better. So please i need my money bank and i need to clear off the negative balance in my account. Help me

Complaint: Earlier this year I decided to open a bank account with Bank of America for my business. After opening a checking account I was told I could immediately start using the account for my business needs. After I started using the account everything seemed to be fine, if you weeks later I had a client purchase merchandise from me in which she paid for with a personal check. I had taken checks from this same client for years before so I did not think there would be anything wrong with the personal check. once I receive the check from my XXXX I deposit it in to my business checking account at Bank of America. A few days later Bank of America notified me that The check that I had to posit it was no good and they were going to close my account because it was so new. They also informed me that the funds that were in my Account at the time would be mailed to me in XXXX to 10 business days. After receiving my refund in the mail from Bank of America I deposited it into my personal account I have with my XXXX. About a month later I try to go open a business checking account at XXXX Bank and was told that I had a fraud reporting on my XXXX Report. After going through the extensive hassle of getting my XXXX report from XXXX they informed me that Bank of America had reported fraud on my account. I try to dispute the incorrect reporting information with XXXX but they informed me that only Bank of America would be able to change the information so I contacted Bank of America risk department and explain the situation they then told me they were not going to investigate the matter and that I would have to wait seven years in order for the incorrect information to fall off of my XXXX report. Not only is it unethical but it is also extremely unfair for Bank of America to abuse their abilities and calls me hardship. Not only is this deformation of character with my business but it is also preventing me from different business opportunities.

Complaint: Over three years ago my neighbor walked away from her house. The house has been empty and the utilities have been shut off for this whole time. The home is deteriorating and in need of repair. The lawn maintenance has not been completed regularly and our city left a notice on the front door regarding the un-mowed lawn. I tried to contact the mortgage company and have been unsuccessful. I 've contacted the companies that have been managing the property and they do not respond to my complaints. We live in an HOA managed subdivision and we are required to maintain our homes to a high standard.

Complaint: ON XX/XX/2016 I had a deposit of XXXX into my account and on the same day I had XXXX different companies authorize XXXX different transactions in the amount of XXXX and XXXX both of which were approved. Then on XX/XX/2016, while those XXXX transactions where still pending I used my debit card for XXXX other transactions XXXX for XXXX and another for gas in the amount of XXXX, at the close of business on XX/XX/XXXX those XXXX transactions where both still pending and my bank which is Bank of America preceeded to charge me an verdraft fee for both the first XXXX and the XXXX, stating that at the time those items posted that my account was overdrawn, at which time it was not, I had the funds to cover the items.When I called and spoke to Bank of America, they stated that at the time those items came into my account it was overdrawn, which in fact it was NOT. The representative proceeded to show me on another screen where it showed it was overdrawn. I noticed that on that screen Bank of America re-layered the transaction showing the XXXX pending transactions as still pending but coming in first and the rest of the transactions after and that is how they are getting away with charging me the fees. How can a bank charge overdraft fees on transactions that were already approved and had not overdrafted my account. So the XXXX transactions that they charged me fees on where autherized first on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and posted on XXXX/XXXX/2016, but they are saying at the time they posted to my account it was negative, however the item that they said made it negative was a transactions that was done on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and is still pending and will not post to my account until the close of business on XXXX/XXXX/2016.
