Complaint: Summary : I opened a credit card account with Bank of America for a balance transfer. It is 0 % interest for XXXX months as long as payments are on time. Every time I log in to pay my monthly bill, I 'm told that my account is frozen and I need to call an XXXX number. I am unable to pay my bill.
Details : I registered on-line to pay my first bill ( I pay all my bills on-line ) and when I attempted to pay my bill I received a message that my request could not be completed due to the status of my account and was instructed to call an XXXX number. I called and was told that it takes 10 days for my account to become active and available for online bill pay. I paid that bill over the phone - I said {$50.00} and {$51.00} was submitted. Last week I attempted to pay my XX/XX/XXXX bill of {$50.00} XXXX pymt # XXXX on this account ) and several days later received an email that my payment could not be processed due to the status of my account and to call the XXXX number. When I called, I was told that the routing number for my institution has changed. It has not - I have had that account for appr 10 years. I now have a late fee on my account. The man I spoke with on this call said that I was misinformed, that it does not take XXXX days for my account to be active. He said he corrected my routing number in the system and that I had to wait for XXXX hours to pay my bill. I attempted to do that again appr XXXX hours ( just to make sure they had enough time ), and received the same message that my request can not be processed due to the status of my account and to call the XXXX number. I attempted to do that. When I finally got through the menu and was told to explain in a few words what I needed, I said, " Bill Pay '' and the next thing I heard was " Good-Bye '' and was disconnected. I called in again, got through the menu and this time simply asked for a representative, and was told that the call volume was high and my wait would be long and to go to the website. My late fee has now increased. This is a 0 % interest card as long as the payments are on time, and they are preventing me from paying my bill. Interesting scam.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2016 a garnishment levy was placed at Bank of America and a hold was placed on my personal checking and savings account. On that same day a " judgement debtors claim for exemption '' was filed in the 11th judicial circuit court, XXXX, MO and delivered to my local branch of Bank of America. Bank of America staff accepted but refused to honor said filing. They submitted it up the corporate pathways and told me each day that it was being processed. No one would let me communicate with the legal department, nor did they ask for more information. I also talked multiple times with the Law Firm holding the garnishment and they informed me that I filed correctly and presented correctly to the bank. On XX/XX/2016 the Law Firm holding the garnishment fully released the garnishment and faxed multiple locations of Bank of America, including my local branch, the legal department, the XXXX, MO branch and another department ( unnamed ). When I presented in person back to my branch in XXXX, MO after speaking multiple times to the customer service line, I was informed ( as they held both copies of both legal documents ) that the matter would have to be processed until XXXX at night when I then could call to have my problem " escalated '' which would give me my funds no sooner than the following XX/XX/2016.
The law states I should have had my money released immediately a week ago.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2016, I requested a wire transfer from my Bank of America account to XXXX hair cosmetics in the XXXX in the amount of {$330.00}. This was pursuant to trying to purchase products from this supplier online where my credit card would not go through so a XXXX representative emailed me and suggested I wire the money to them instead. The wire transfer was conducted at Bank of America, in XXXX, VA ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, VA XXXX ). I then emailed the XXXX ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/2016 to inquire with respect to whether they had received the funds and they denied receiving the funds. I then went to Bank of America and Bank of America stated that the funds had been withdrawn by the XXXX financial institution on XX/XX/2016 and they gave me a copy of the transaction, to include the transaction reference number and the amount that the XXXX had withdrawn from my account. I contacted the XXXX via email on XX/XX/2016 with a copy of the bank documents verifying that the XXXX and their financial institution had taken the funds from my account. I asked for my money back and indicated that I had since purchased the products elsewhere due to their lack of responsiveness. The XXXX never wrote me back, they kept my funds from the wire transfer, and they never provided me with either the product or my money back. Please advise. Additionally, I have all supporting documentation on this. Thank you and please let me know what next steps entail. Thanks again.

Complaint: I 've been trying to get The Bank of New York Mellon to honor this agreement with your office. The Bank of New York Mellon and its attorneys have refused to offer me an affordable modification under HAMP, nor have they inquired as to my financial, qualifications so that I may stay in my home with my family. The Bank of New York Mellon never notified me of being in default nor have they sent any notice of acceleration. I have not received any statements as to who to pay from my original lender. The state court is fully aware the assignment is fraudulent ... because it was created and prepared by The Bank of New York attorney who is representing them in State Court. What is the purpose of the Consent Orders in XXXX, XXXX, if the people in which were mostly affected can not enforce or receive any benefits outlined by the Comptroller? What good is the Consent Order agreement if it is intended to be teeth less?

Complaint: I applied for a home equity line of credit from my bank. During the review process there were some missed mortgage payments. I explained to the loan processor that my wife had passed away and automatic payments drawn from our accounts were stopped upon her death. I told them that I was unaware of this due to circumstances related to bereavement.
The amount of money that I make annually is adequate and is going to be enough not to exceed service to income debt, but what is most is most important is that I do n't owe money except vacation property that is over XXXX more in equity value than when I purchased it.
