I 've told the agency I 'm not the person they are trying to contact, that they are calling a company issued cell phone and I have had the number for 7 years. Last week I asked they stop calling this line and I received another call today

Complaint: Over 10 yrs ago I originally received a letter stating that I owed a store money via a credit card. I explained to them it was not my debt and requested a signature confirmation. This debt was claimed to have occured in another state where I had never been. They told me no signature was available which I then rewrote to them and said I was disputing the claim. After that, over the next few yrs, I would receive letters from various new debt companies stating I still owed. I would send requests and none of them ever sent me verification. The occurancy of receiving letters did diminish over the years to maybe once a year. Now again, I have received another one, I DO NOT OWE THIS DEBT!

Complaint: I have loans in my name for a school I never attended, I have now incurred {$90000.00} in student loans for an XXXX XXXX XXXX at a school that I recently found out is not accredited. They intercepted both my XXXX and XXXX tax returns totaling {$10000.00} and on the XXXX they had only taken over 6 months earlier, they took XXXX % of my {$4600.00} return and only paid {$650.00} toward my loan, and they took XXXX % of my {$5100.00} loan. They have refused to send me any information on my loans and this is what they sent me in an email This is to acknowledge the receipt of your email. Please be advised that we forwarded your email to our operations department who is currently handling the account. You can also call their hotline number at XXXX for further assistance. Which tells me nothing .... I still have no answers and I have been chasing after this information for months now ...

Complaint: In violation of its XX/XX/XXXX Consent Decree with the FTC, Allied Interstate contacted me at XXXX XXXX ( EST ) on XXXX. XXXX, XXXX. Identified as debt collector from Allied Interstate. Proceeded to determine that I had forgotten about some of the student loans I had taken out. Caller then went on to state that the Dept of Ed had identified my employer and they could/would garnish wages if I do not resolve the default. However I have been unemployed and on social security XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX and therefor the caller was clearly making a false statement in the hope of spurring my compliance with his wishes.
