Complaint: In XXXX I brought a car that was financed through Ally Financial. Over the 5 year period I have paid the payments in XXXX XXXX I paid XXXX to pay the car off like Ally said I owed. At the end of XXXX XXXX, my wife and I received the title and we kept the car continued to drivXXXX until on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Ally had XXXX come and steal our car saying that we owed an additional {$3000.00} for fees, late payments and etc. I immediately called the police and insurance company cause I have a title that shows my vehicle free and clear. In XXXX they told me I owed XXXX on the car. In XXXX XXXX, I paid XXXX, XXXX I paid XXXX and they sent me documents with 3 different amounts on what was still owe I questioned them. In XXXX I paid XXXX and in XXXX after I contacted them to see how much was left they said XXXX. I paid that and I received my title in XXXX XXXX. Now I think it is very unfair that I paid all this money to have my car stolen from and now they are saying they are selling it again to someone else on XXXX XXXX if I do n't give them additional money. Every time you speak to someone at ALLY you get a different story. It does n't make sense to me.

Dealer never returned paperwork to Ally. I provided copies to Ally 3 weeks later after calling 2. ) I received a final bill for wear/tear inspection on XX/XX/XXXX for {$310.00}. I paid on XX/XX/XXXX and was cashed on XX/XX/XXXX. Check # XXXX 3. ) I purchased a new lease and the dealer ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, Associate name XXXX ) and the return debt for the XXXX lease was {$2000.00}. This was confirmed with both myself and new sales man. 4. ) I have reached out to Ally on three occasions asking to settle and finalize the {$2000.00}. XXXX. They all state account is closed nothing owed. 5. ) On XX/XX/XXXX I received a credit alert impacting my credit from Ally Bank for a debt of {$3000.00}. 6. ) the amount is incorrect on all accords and the company states I owe XXXX. Nobody can resolve and my excellent credit has now been tarnished

Complaint: I leased my vehicle through Ally Bank. I setup my account on auto pay XX/XX/XXXX. Prior toXX/XX/XXXX my credit card had been compromised so I cancelled it and obtained a new card. I called Ally bank on the XX/XX/XXXX date to make sure they had the new card information so there would be no interruption of my auto pay account. I was told by Ally not to worry as the Auto pay was connected to my checking account. On or about XX/XX/XXXX I was sent an e-mail by XXXX XXXX stating that my credit score had dropped as a result of a 30 day late issued by Ally Bank. I called Ally bank and after two hours on the phone and 6 representatives was told I cancelled my auto pay on the XX/XX/XXXX date. Upon investigation it was determined Ally bank made the mistake of cancelling the auto pay. Further they never notified me of the cancellation of the auto pay or that it was delinquent. I am purchasing a home and am in effect homeless as I have sold my home in Arizona. I can not purchase a home until I resolve the Ally bank problem and have my credit score put back to where it was prior to Ally banks mistake. I have informed them of this with no result or action by them. it is my hope that you can help me resolve this issue. Thank you very much.

Complaint: I applied for a car loan when purchasing a new vehicle - I obtained financing thru XXXX XXXX, the dealer also ran my credit with Ally Bank who in turn used XXXX XXXX - I received a letter today stating I was denied credit with Ally Bank via the XXXX credit report showing my score of XXXX. My current credit scores are XXXX, XXXX and XXXX - I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I am also in the XXXX XXXX and keep a close watch on my score. I have no idea where the XXXX is coming from and I feel it is incorrect and false reporting in order to charge higher interest rates. They stated the reasons for a low score were as follows : LIMITED HISTORY AT THIS PHONE NUMBER - I HAVE HAD IT FOR OVER 18 YEARS LIMITED CREDIT HISTORY - I HAVE TWO CARS, A MORTGAGE AND CREDIT CARDS THAT ARE PAID MONTHLY AND ON TIME LENGTH OF TIME AT RESIDENCE TO SHORT- I HAVE OWNED AND BEEN IN MY HOME FOR 11 YEARS TOO FEW ACTIVE ACCOUNTS- I HAVE TWO AUTO LOANS AND OVER 10 REVOLVING ACCOUNTS FOR OVER 5 YEARS I believe both Ally Bank and XXXX are at fault. I understand scores can be slightly different but definitely not by 100 points. These kinds of practices are unfair to a consumer especially if I was a consumer who did not understand how the credit score system works.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX - In the morning, I received a phone call from the Ally Bank Fraud Service Center ( phone number XXXX ) concerning fraudulent activity on the debit card associated with my checking account. A voicemail was left giving a case number. I attach the voicemail in this complaint. I called back and spoke with a representative who asked if I made a purchase with my debit card in XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I live in XXXX, Pennsylvania and have n't even visited XXXX for about 18 months. Furthermore, my debit card has only even been used for ATM transactions. I told them this transaction was fraudulent and in return I was told that my debit card had been deactivated. I was told to not have any worries even though there was a pending transaction. The representative told me that this transaction would not go through and the funds should be immediately available once then failed pending transaction dropped off. XXXX XXXX XXXX - I check my bank account in the morning and find that the pending transaction has now posted. The amount total was {$200.00}. I call back Ally 's Fraud hotline and explain that I 've already talked to a representative about this situation and that the transaction needs to be reversed or at the very least a provisional credit should be placed in the account. I am told by the representative that there is nothing she can do, and that I must wait up to 45 days to have access to my funds. Unsatisfied with this answer, I start a chat with a customer representative and request again that I be given a provisional credit to the account for the funds so that I can pay my bills while they are doing their investigation. I am told, this time, that there is nothing that can be done and that I may get a provisional credit in 10 business days and that the investigation can take up to 90 days to complete. I ask for the issue to be escalated to someone who may be able to provide the provisional credit immediately but am told that I must wait for them to complete an investigation. I have attached to this complaint a transcript of the interaction I had with this representative. After making no progress through this chat I terminated it and proceeded to file this complaint against Ally Bank.

Complaint: I financed my loan thru Ally Financial in XX/XX/XXXX. I refinanced with XXXX XXXX and Ally shows my loans paid in full as of XX/XX/XXXX. I received a letter in the mail from Ally GAP stating my gap policy was canceled and a refund sent for {$790.00}. It shows the payee as XXXX XXXX who was the dealership where I purchased the car. I contacted XXXX XXXX and they said that the refund was n't received by them, but that it would come from Ally Financial. Ally Financial has told me the same thing, but said they never received it from Ally GAP. They have no clear answer for me as to when I will get the refund. It 's already been 45 days and still the same answer which is that I would receive in 45 days. I do n't think it 's fair that Ally GAP says the money was sent on XX/XX/XXXX and I 've had to wait this long without receiving or really even knowing where it 's coming from.
