Complaint: On XXXX my wife totaled her car. My insurance first tried contacting Ally to begin the settlement on XXXX. My wife called and made a payment in XXXX, just hoping to keep everything in good standing. Whoever she spoke with at Ally, they said there should be no problems in the future. After no response, and several calls to Ally, XXXX again submitted the entire break down and total loss payment. After over a month of Ally doing nothing, it took myself, a member from XXXX and XXXX from the total loss department of Ally. Even after this, they still dragged everything out and only until XXXX did they finally accept the check from my insurance, who immediately overnight shipped it to them. Now the problem is that they are saying I still owe {$2200.00}. They are also posting late payments on my credit. I have been having to call them several times a week to get anything done, and it's now been over a month and their supervisor XXXX in the total loss department will not even call me back. When I spoke with XXXX in the total loss department back on XXXX she said my pay off was {$1500.00}. So as you can see there are multiple discrepancies and Ally is in no way making any attempt to resolve this.

Complaint: I sent a certified letter to Ally Financial, the furnisher of information to the credit bureaus ( XXXX and XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX ( even though the date was misprinted ). In both letters I asked that they are in possession of any document that they believed authorized the inquiry to produce the document. In a phone call on XX/XX/2018, an individual claiming to work for Ally Financial stated that they were in possession of two applications from an auto dealer for credit. I asked if the applications had my signature on it. She said " No. '' I said if I have not signed it you do not have authorization and since you can not produce a signed application, you can not verify that the transaction was initiated by the customer. The Ally employee tried to tell me that I had to speak with the auto dealer directly, but the FCRA states that the furnisher of information " Ally Financial '' has the obligation to maintain these records and has the capacity to remove this unauthorized inquiry.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I needed to buy a new used car, I started to submit applications for USED VEHICLE LOAN with XXXX, and my Credit UNion. My Credit Union In DC offered 2.4 % and I was working on to get this loan. IN meanwhile I shopped for other auto loans all around including with XXXX, with Credit UNion and thru my dealer, XXXX XXXX of XXXX. I recognise hard inquiries from XXXX x 1 inquiry, I recognise 1 Hard INquiry from Credit UNion, and I see 1 hard inquiry from XXXX XXXX and 1 from XXXX. However, I was surprised to learn that there is fourth hard inquiry from and by ALLY FINANCIAL of either MN or XXXX XXXX CA. I did not apply for a AUTO LOAN to ALLY Financial. Moreover, I am horrified to learn about HOW MUCh INFORMATION is there on my ordinary XXXX credit report about me and about MY PROPERTY- I presumed that ALLY Financial consider my HOME in form of COLLATERAL against AUto LOAN?? are you kidding me? that I will place my HOME as a collateral against car??? UNHEARD OF!!! When I received this Credit Report from XXXX, in XX/XX/2018 and I studied it, I realized that there is ALLY FINANCIAL whom i do not recognise. I was horrified about how much information ALLY Financial Provided about me on XXXX C Rep. The information on page 3 is taken from the District of Columbia Real Estate LAND OFFICE, where there is a confidential information about my property FOR YOUR EYES ONLY! NEED to know basis. However now everybody who is not lazy can dig out my C Rep and read it like a novel. I protest against such a violation in my privacy and disclosure of my property information on ordinary credit report. It is very upsetting. I dont know who these people are. ALLY Financial. And I want this report to be OUT from my Credit Report. I called to XXXX and I asked XXXX to remove it. In XX/XX/2018 I was still weak after my 5 hours XXXX in XX/XX/2018. But now i am strong and this hard inquiry -- disclosure is not recognised by me, I did not do it, I did not made my home as a collateral against auto loan. I want them ( ALLY ) to remove this piece of hard inquiry by Ally Financial from my Credit Report on XXXX. PS I received several mailers from ALLY FINANCIAL. I wanted to save it to include to my complaint, but alter I threw it away. however, I collected now all double inquiries and unknown to me inquiries like Ally Financial, and I am filing complaint against this abuse I dont know who these people business are. I have nothing to do with them. And I would NOT I would NOT place my home as a COLLATERAL against a auto loan. It is just a car no matter if it is XXXX or XXXX. And My VA home loan guarantee is a HOME. Home is Home. It is in the BIBLE : SHELTER CLOTH and FOOD. There is nothing about CARS in the BIBLE.

In XXXX I made a call regarding overdraft charges from my bank due to the fact that one of Allys representatives informed me they would cancel auto-draft and they in fact never did. This resulted in {$70.00} of overdraft charges. It has been way over a month now of me calling multiple times and explaining the same story time and time again and being met with employees blaming me for the charges, blaming my bank, or telling me that it will be resolved in X time frame and nothing ever happening. I am sick of hearing different things every time I call and my issue never being resolved. I would never advise anyone to use this company and I wish I had never gotten involved with them in the first place.

Complaint: Hello, I am a XXXX years old and retired, someone has been debiting my account for the last 16 or so months, I get automatic SSA direct deposit and have just found out " ALLY ALLY PAYMT XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' has been debiting {$590.00} for the last 14 months. I have filed a police report with the XXXX XXXX County Sherrifs office # XXXX and have also filed a Federal Trade Commission theft report # XXXX. I am in contact with the Attorney Generals Office - XXXX XXXX to help in this matter. Also I have hired my son, XXXX XXXX XXXX on a retainer to oversee this in the event we have to file a lawsuit against Ally Financial for theft, also he will be sending Ally Financial a cease and desist letter on the charging of the account.

Complaint: I refinanced my used car the following month after purchasing it. I also cancelled an anti theft and GAP insurance prior to refinancing. I received a pay off amount from Ally Financial and paid it off with my new loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX specifically I worked with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX figured the daily interest, refinanced my 2013 XXXX and I waited on the title. Ally Financial sent my refund check for the Gap and Anti Theft back to XXXX XXXX saying it was a duplicate check and would not release my title. As I was paying XXXX XXXX XXXX on my car payment they were reporting me late to the credit companies when they were paid in full. It took Ally over a year to iron out their mistake but they have released my title now. I have proof from the current bank with my loan, all documentation of pay off from Ally, XXXX and XXXX XXXX and have been timely on every single payment with auto pay from my account. However, Ally Financial says they only report late payments and can not rescind those reports to the credit agencies.

I applied for a Mortgage Loan through Ally. They lead me to believe that I was been approved for a home loan and I approved an appraisal which they billed through XXXX or used XXXX as an intermediary. This is false and misleading to the consumer and I will be filling a complaint against Ally/XXXX and XXXX XXXX if these charges are not reversed. I am contacting the State of Florida Department XXXX XXXX XXXX to deal with this matter. The lack of urgency and professionalism involved with all parties contacted to resolve this issue is unacceptable. Complaint: A settlement was reached between U. S. Department of Justice and the Consumer Protection Bureau and Ally Bank for allegations of discrimination in auto financing. After notified of the lawsuit a few months later I received a letter from ally bank noting that I was to receive a credit on my loan and will be reflected on the following billing statements. The letter was dated XX/XX/XXXX. I have since called and found out that my payments were adjusted and instead of a decrease they increased from XXXX to XXXX. I have called and In fact the monthly payments did increase with no changes in length of total amount financed. Customer service states credit has been applied. I have the correspondence letters. Complaint: After being unable to get any resolution with XXXX, I filed a dispute with my bank, Ally, regarding the charge on XX/XX/2018. I filled out and returned all paperwork requested immediately and the charge was reversed on my account. Out of nowhere, with no notice, three months later on XX/XX/XXXX the charge was reversed overdrawing my account. On top of receiving no notification via mail, email, or online in my account for this reversal ( again this is 3 months after dispute ), I was charged a {$25.00} overdraft fee on s {$5.00} check to the church which I obviously would not have written had I known my account was going to be negative from a dispute that I believed to be handled three months prior. After the bank reversed the credit I attempted to contact XXXX several times and upon no help from them filed a complaint to the XXXX, but XXXX says they cant do anything because theres a chargeback case with financial institution ( ally ) so they cant talk to me and bank needs to handle it. Very shady dispute practices to reverse credit with no warning and Ive still received no communication about it after 3 months and then charge me an overdraft fee on a {$5.00} check the same day you reversed the dispute with no warning.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I called Ally Financial and spoke to a representative about an advertised offer that provided for a {$1200.00} cash bonus for opening a new account with {$500000.00} or more. I inquired as to whether the combination of my two accounts, an IRA and a Roth IRA, would qualify, since the combined value was well over the threshold. I was told that the combined value would be considered. I opened the two accounts and transferred securities. Ally calculated the bonus 60 days later and gave me a bonus of {$600.00} in one account and {$300.00} in the second account. When I called to inquire of this discrepancy, I was told that the two account values were considered separately and that they would not give me the full {$1200.00}. I would like for Ally to fulfill their commitment of a {$1200.00} new account bonus. I've attached my call log showing the date and time I called from XXXX. A review of this phone call should confirm my conversation.

Complaint: I have two vehicle loans with Ally Financial Services, one is for a new vehicle purchased in 2017 and a used vehicle purchased in 2017 as well. I am only about 14 days behind on my payments for both vehicles and I am planning on paying both loan payments within the next 3 days. They have been calling me up to 20 times per day every day for about the last 10 days and they will call me two times in a row on my personal number and leave a message each time and then call me two times on my work number and leave a message both times and then switch back to calling my cell phone back to back. This is tantamount to harassment in my opinion. It is not like I am 30+ days late on my loan payments and they are calling me non-stop! I was not able to select the exact problem on the previous questions because there wasn't really an option to select that matched up. Please do something about this, it is honestly ridiculous. Here is a list of the call times today as of XXXX XXXX : 2 calls back-to-back at XXXX XXXX today on my personal number 2 calls back-to-back at XXXX XXXX on my work number 2 calls back-to-back at XXXX XXXX on my work number 2 calls back-to-back at XXXX XXXX on my personal number That is already 8 calls by XXXX XXXX today and I will be getting these phone calls all evening until at least XXXX which could amount to at least 8 more phone calls!
