Complaint: I leased from Ally a Hummer from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Towards the end of my lease [ I believe about 2 months before ] I took the vehicle to XXXX XXXX in XXXX, PA to attempt to purchase the vehicle. My contract allowed me to purchase the vehicle. XXXX said that the windshield was broken and it had excessive miles. They agreed that if I purchased the vehicle then the excessive miles was not a factor. So I left and I then had the windshield replaced. I then took the vehicle back to XXXX XXXX to purchase the vehicle per the terms of my lease. XXXX then refused to allow me to purchase the vehicle. I then left and telephoned Ally. Ally said they would extend the lease and allow me to contact XXXX to attempt to purchase. XXXX again refused to allow me to purchase the vehicle. The payoff on the vehicle was only {$16000.00} more or less which was far less than the value of the vehicle. I believe that they wanted my vehicle so that could then sell the vehicle for its true fair market value of {$24000.00}. They then charged me for a cracked windshield [ which I had fixed ], a non existent roof debt, an alleged tear in the interior headliner and excess mileage. XXXX XXXX and Ally failed to comply with the terms of the lease and refused to allow me to purchase the vehicle. I believe XXXX XXXX sold the vehicle for substantially more than I owed and did not allow me to mitigate my damages. I believe I do not owe them any money. They have not sued me, I wish they would so that I can prove that I do not owe them any money. What they have done is report this alleged debt on my credit report. I want them to remove this from my credit report.

Complaint: I have a vehicle loan with Ally financial. XX/XX/XXXX, i became unemployed and called Ally to see what my options were. They offered me a two month deferment which was great. They kept saying I needed to sign some paperwork and that they could only mail it. Long story short, after about a XXXX phone calls saying I had n't received the paperwork I got the deferment done XX/XX/XXXX. Meanwhile the reported my account as 60 days late twice and 30 days late twice and it is DESTROYING my credit. I am trying to refinance my home and can not do it with these negative marks on it. I have called Ally frequently because I was assured all negative reports would be fixed. They are saying that the reports are accurate and that they can not verify I never received paperwork.

Complaint: I leased my car about three years ago ; the payment has always been automatically withdrawn from my bank account and routed to the finance company through XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, the finance company began making harassing calls to me stating that the payments were not being received anymore. I have been in contact with my bank who has also contacted the finance company and the bank and I agree that the payment has been paid/routed the same way so we did n't understand why the finance company was no longer receiving payment being that it had been paid the same way over about three years. The bank re-confirmed the account and routing number with the finance company where the payment should and has been going to. The finance company continued to harass and threaten me, that they we 're going to repossess my car. I would tell them that my payments have been routed the same way and I knew and have documentary proof that I have never missed a payment. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the finance company illegally repossessed my car without my consent ; which was a day after I gave the payment for XX/XX/XXXX. I have documentation that proves I have never missed a payment.

Complaint: My wife bought a XXXX Subaru Forester at a dealership in XXXX, Massachusetts. The dealership submitted a car loan from Ally Financial with a high interest rate.
My wife 's name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and she is from XXXX. Because of the high interest, payments were difficult. The XXXX Subaru Forester was ending up being towed for missing payments. My wife, XXXX, was angry at me but we finally got the money for the tow and storage fee and the back payment to get the car.
I now have read the Justice Department and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau article by XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX regarding the XXXX to settle the minority car loan discrimination probe. In this article it stated that we would not need to do anything. That we would be notified.
