Complaint: Our son was involved in an automobile accident. Which XXXX sent them a check for the car. It was also covered by GAP Insurance. Ally Auto has refused to work with us. This has been going on for 5 months now and the car is NOT paid off. Everything we call the department they say is handling the account we are told it is not there. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 the insurance company mailed a check out after they were told that they were issued the letter of guarantee. As of Friday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX does not have the Title and the loan is still not paid off. Ally repossessed the car sometime, not even sure when at this point. It was deemed a total loss. When I called Ally Auto in XXXX the Account was in the Total Loss Department. I advised them that they had the car. The account was n't even documented that they had the vehicle. We can not get any one to work with us or to even return our calls. They have not even attempted to contact us. As of Saturday, XXXX XXXX, 2016 we have received our XXXX letter stating Ally is going to sell the car at auction. They are aware that it is an insurance claim.

Complaint: Originally I leased my Dodge Charger from Ally financial the terms seemed pretty reasonable. That is when Ally stopped being customer friendly. I had gone through a financial tough spot in 2013, I was in constant contact with Ally about the payments making sure the lines of communication were up and payments were being made in a timely fashion. After I has sent in close to {$2000.00} towards my lease payments, Ally had my car repossesed out of my driveway!! I was in complete shock, thinking that Ally was a reputible company. NOT SO! When I finally got a customer service manager on the line, she was dishonest, rude and very disrespectful.

Complaint: My CD matured on XXXX/XXXX/2016. Prior to the due date I contacted Ally Bank to arrange for a partial redemption on the CD on the maturity date. I have spent literally hours on the phone and on hold trying to get a portion of my maturing CD funds transferred to my checking account. According to an investigation by the State of New Jersey Department of Insurance Division of Insurance Consumer Protection Services Dated XXXX XXXX XXXX. " The driver of the vehicle that pulled out directly in front of us was found to be XXXX liable for the accident and damages sustained due to his failure to yield the right of way of traffic. '' It also appears that you have GAP insurance on your lease so you would not have incurred any additional fees. '' On XXXX XXXX XXXX ALLY FINANCIAL closed the account as Latest Status : Collection/Charge-Off with a balance of {$690.00} Closed - Derogatory We have sent several certified letters to ALLY Financial disputing this balance along with placed disputes with XXXX and XXXX. We would like this claimed balance owed to be removed from all credit reports and closed with paid as agreed.

Complaint: I contacted Ally Financial on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX about the fact they were reporting ( 2 ) 30 day lates on my XXXX and XXXX Report dated XXXX and XXXX yet they were reporting XXXX 30 day late on my XXXX Report dated XXXX. I never had a 30 day late on the account from XXXX when opened until XXXX when traded and paid off. I was told by Ally that it would take them XXXX 5 days to get it corrected. I called them back on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and they stated I was told incorrectly and that it would take at least 30 days to get a response. They changed the XXXX Bureau on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to reflect XXXX late payment in XXXX but under status it still showed ( XXXX ) 30 day lates plus they updated the XXXX to XXXX so it brought my score down and they are still reporting it incorrectly. I contacted them again today and was told it would take another 30 days to look into it but that I did have ( XXXX ) 30 day lates in XXXX and XXXX I had all of my notes, dates when I called in and bank statements and the lady stated that the account was in a deferment in XXXX and that it was deferred in XXXX yet I made a payment on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. They said they did not have a record of where they changed the due date on the account at any point and the contract due date was the XXXX yet they mailed me a confirmation that it was changed to the XXXX of each month. They stated they did not have access to my XXXX/XXXX/XXXX phone conversation. Basically they are reporting erroneous information on all XXXX bureaus and they want me to wait another 30 days for them to correct it despite telling them i was in the process of trying to save our home and refinance it and they keep getting the information more messed up. I want all the late 's removed from all XXXX credit bureau files immediately and for the bureaus to reflect paid as agreed and never late as it should. I should n't be penalized for there errors.

Complaint: I opened a checking account at Ally Bank and deposited some money. A few days later I was told that I needed to submit identification documents and that the bank would have to review the documents before having access to my account. I have periodically called to check on the status, and I have been asked to submit the documents again. I also asked whether they could instead close the account and send the funds back to me, as I had set up an account at another bank while Ally 's review was going on, but Ally would not do this. I also asked for bank statements so that I may report the earned interest for my taxes, but they would not provide these either. ( I estimated the earned interest. )

Complaint: I have a car loan with Ally financial since XX/XX/XXXX never late on any payments. My car was a total loss due to flooding that occurred on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and auto insurance total the car the following week. I called Ally I explain the rep my car was total loss " what do I need to do '' she mention that I needed to contact my insurance. I specifically ask about the payments and she stated car was total so the insurance will contact them, My payment was due on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Ally Reported my account to the credit bureau as delinquent. I called Ally multiple times from the collections department to the total loss claims no one has been able to explain to me why if the car was a total loss and my insurance will cover and also have GAP insurance why the account was reported as delinquent. I did not received any calls from Ally or any third party collections agency in behalf of Ally or any documents via mail or email on regards of the account been late, I had set online access to make my monthly payments but after I reported to Ally the total loss the account was remove and I do n't have access to see the status of the account until my credit report send me an alert about XXXX account being delinquent, I have not been able to get an answer from no one at ally but " system generated a report every 30 days after the account is late, so the report is send every 30 days by a computer '' It do n't make sense to me and now I 'm delinquent 60 days I have called multiple times and a supervisor requested me to submit a payment to cover the 2 months and he will try to see if they can remove the delinquent report from my credit. This is not fair treatment to a customer, I was mislead with incorrect information, I trusted them with my situation and believed was been handle in a professional way. Is very overwhelming losing my car in a flood and now my credit has a delinquent report.

Complaint: I have an account with Ally Bank and over the past 6 months I have overdrafted my account between paychecks. The maximum amount that my account was overdrafted for was {$75.00}. On Wednesday, I deposited a check for the amount of {$4000.00} which now Ally bank is holding until XXXX XXXX for NSF reasons. When called multiple times, Ally Bank first informed me that they were required by law to hold the funds for 5 business days due to Regulation CC ( I looked up regulation CC and informed them that had no such requirement ; Regulation CC requires them to inform me if they place a hold, not place a hold itself ). Upon providing this information, the line went silent and the agent hung up on me. I called Ally bank back and was informed, that it does n't matter what I do. All checks will be held for up to 5 business days regardless of the amount. I find it grossly unfair that a bank can place a hold for an arbitrary amount due to repeated overdrafts ( I offered to have part of my check to be held that was a reasonable multiple of the overdrafted amount in the past ). Additionally, I find it fairly misleading that banking institutions are informing consumers that they are *required* to hold funds, while rather they are required to inform consumers to hold funds.

Complaint: We own a XXXX Buick Encore & the check engine light has come on for the second time. The tac meter is sticking & the gas pedal does n't want to accelerate. I worry that when i am trying to press on the gas pedal the car will just fly forward when I am trying to get it to go & cause an accident. The dealer can not figure out what it is??? Should this car be recalled for this? If any one else is having this issue??
