Complaint: I lease my vehicle with a company name Ally. I have decided to purchase my vehicle and I called them to get a payoff and I was told It would take two business day, to make the long story short ; in my credit report it has been reported that i owed {$23000.00} and in the payoff amount it said {$29.00}, XXXX, when I called them to get an explanation none of the employees can explain in details why im i been charge that amount. I feel that in some part they have violated Regulation M since I 'm not able to get a clear understanding and none of the paperwork explain what I 'm been charge. please help me get this square away.

Complaint: I called Ally on XXXX and asked what I needed to do to purchase my leased vehicle. She stated that I needed to pay off the amount to Ally and they would then send the title and another document for me to sign off on mileage. She gave me the amount of {$29000.00}. I call Ally back on XXXX to ask for the address to send my final payment. Once talking to this gentleman he told me my final payoff amount to purchase the vehicle was {$30000.00}. I said, but I was told two days ago the {$29000.00} and that was good until XXXX XXXX. He said, sorry, she gave you the payoff amount not the amount to purchase the vehicle. I said, I did n't think that was fair and I did n't understand. It seemed like a bait and switch. I hung up frustrated. I called back a while later and told the person who answered I had received XXXX amounts. She asked me the amounts and then asked me to hold. When she came back she said the correct amount was the lower amount. When I asked her why I was given XXXX different amounts she said the gentleman calculated it wrong. Here I sit without feeling comfortable that the amount I have is accurate. In addition, I feel they are being deceptive in the way they are changing the balance. I wonder if they have taken advantage of others this way. I also wonder if they have done other things to my account that would cause me to pay more than I owe - like they tried to today. Please look into this unacceptable culture they have at Ally.

Complaint: I have sent Ally Financial letters stating that I dispute information they are sending to the credit bureaus. They failed to mark my account as disputed within 30 days of my contact with them on all XXXX of my credit reports which is in clear violation of FDCPA 807 ( 8 ). I have time stamped copies of all XXXX credit reports and a certified mail reciept showing when Ally Financial recieved my letter proving they failed to mark it as disputed.

Complaint: Reference Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX I got behind on my car payment ; Ally Customer Service Agent XXXX XXXX ( ex XXXX ) told me the amount to be paid {$880.00} to stop the repossession. XXXX XXXX told me to make the following payments via XXXX XXXX : XXXX XXXX, XXXX {$800.00} paid via XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX {$340.00} ACH from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX {$88.00} ACH from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as I was leaving for work a man in a XXXX car was outside my house taking pictures of my car. I thought that was strange so I checked Ally 's app, it indicated I still owed the {$800.00} and the additional payments were canceled but withdrawn from my account. This is not the first time Ally has misapplied payment and/or told me I owed but had already made payments. From the start of this car loan I 've made bi-weekly payments of {$170.00}, Ally continues to call multiple times a day prior to the second payment being made. I 've asked them to put notes on my file indicating the by-weekly payment, but to date they have not done so. Now they are saying that I owe {$920.00}.

I finally received the documents to do the deferral, but they are still charging me late fees and have reported missed/late payments to the credit bureaus despite being in the process of deferral. Complaint: An auto loan of {$17000.00} was taken out on a used vehicle.
The vehicle was a total loss on XXXX/XXXX/16 due to a XXXX.
XXXX/XXXX/16 Ally bank fraudulently quoted XXXX XXXX an outstanding loan balance due of {$25000.00}.
The same day XXXX XXXX issued a payment to lien of {$25000.00} to Ally bank The outstanding amount was actually {$16000.00} which was credited to the account XXXX to pay off the car in full.
Ally Bank owes me ( $ XXXX {$16000.00} ) = {$9100.00} since XXXX/XXXX/16 over 30 business days since the loan was paid in full.
I have spent over 10 hours on the phone with Ally Bank which has as of today XXXX/XXXX/16 has said they have not prrocessed any payment to me. My rental car insurance ran out weeks ago. This is outright fraud on the part of Ally Bank. I have no assurance they will ever pay me the money they owe.

Complaint: XX/XX/2006 I went into contract with GMAC to lease with the option to buy a XXXX Pontiac Grand Prix. When I signed the contract, I was told that this would allow me to buy the car if I felt I wanted and I did n't have to go through the whole process of reapplying for a loan. So I ask the lady who I signed the loan with, what does that do to my credit and she replied the balance would change and the monthly charges. I was fine with this. After looking at my credit report more closely I noticed that they stop reporting the correct date of when I leased with the option of buying the car and reported the new date of when I decided to keep it. I would not have signed for the car if I knew it would start the clock of the original debt all the way over. Please look into this situation as I was promised something that did not happen. Now I have debt from XX/XX/2006 with bad history still reporting on my credit report from 12 years ago.
