Complaint: I had an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX prior to moving overseas. I turned the equipment in and received a yellow slip confirming my return of the equipment. I satisfied the remaining balance and the company sold the account to AFNI, Inc. I've disputed this account with my credit bureaus and the company continues to come back saying the information is correct. I have no account with AFNI and have asked that they provide a signed agreement between their company and me if they will continue alleging this is a valid collection. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : They've charged off my account, but haven't given any information on what to do next. I called each month in 2017 asking where to pay my balance and was told the company charged my account off and they couldn't take payment to settle the amount shown as owed. It still shows as a balance due and I don't have the title. I've not been given options to satisfy the account. XXXX XXXX : This is too old to be on my report. It was discharged in Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy 4 years ago and has inaccurate data.

Complaint: I received a letter of communication from this company on or shortly after the first of XX/XX/2019. The letter of communication claimed I owed a debt to XXXX and that I had 30n days from the date of the letter to request that AFNI. Inc validated this claim that I owed XXXX. I in turn sent AFNI not only a validation request with was received and signed for by the company my communication also included all required information regarding Identity theft. AFNI, Inc is not only in violation of my rights because this alleged debt has been posted to my credit files without proper validation. AFNI, Inc has also blatantly chosen to not follow and abide by federal law outlined in the Notice to Furnishers of Information regarding Identity theft victims. If AFNI, Inc was following the laws outlined for them in the FCRA I would have received validation before they ruined my name and credit rating with inaccurate erroneous fraudulent information. AFNI, Inc must remove this information from my credit files immediately.

Complaint: I used XXXX XXXX for awhile, and it was a bundle for TV and Internet. The TV worked ok, but the internet was a total failure. After multiple service calls, each time, their technicians stated that the company 's cable in the street was old and worn out, unable to provide reliable internet. They also stated that the company is not willing to repair or replace the cables due to the expense. I cancelled both TV and the internet, since it was a bundle deal. They claimed I owed them a cancellation fee for internet they were unable to provide. I disputed the claim in writing, stated all the facts, and they continued to want a fee. They used a collection agency, and I disputed the debt with the credit agency, XXXX. XXXX found in my favor and removed the debt from my record. A short time later, the collection popped up again, this time under the name of a different company, AFNI. I disputed it again, and XXXX again, within a few minutes, found in my favor. I still get calls from AFNI, under different phone numbers. It seems that whenever XXXX is on the wrong side of a dispute, they just file a new credit collection under another name, trying to harass people into paying what they do not owe. XXXX breached the contract by failing to provide the service they promised, yet still think they can harass people to what they do not owe.

I checked it and noticed that there is a collection account from the company Afni for XXXX stating that it was opened on XX/XX/2019. I had already filed a police report and fraud report with the FTC. This is a strong case of identity theft. I had this problem before with this company and informed them of the problem. This is not my account.

This is false information. This account was in collections before XX/XX/XXXX. I do not have an account with AFNI and feel that if they are going to buy accounts that the correct dates should be reported. This needs to be removed because I do not even owe AFNI. These companies are reporting inaccurate information, which is in turn affecting my credit score which affects my way of living.

Complaint: Approx 20 robocalls as of XX/XX/2019, from company called Afni, seeking someone that I don't know. I called the robo-phone # XXXX XXXX to tell them that I don't know who they are seeking. Put on hold and nobody picks up. The robo-calls from XXXX XXXX call my landline almost daily, sometimes more than once per day. The caller identifies as Afni or XXXX. I don't know because I've never dealt with a company of that name.
