Complaint: As an XXXX for the past six consecutive years in multiple XXXX that qualify for XXXX federal loan forgiveness my application ( s ) have continuously been denied for minor issues such as incorrect date format and full title of Chief Administrator not stating his position. Because of this I took it upon myself to call MyFedLoan directly and ask why my application is continuously being denied when time after time the people I speak to regarding what I need to fix, give me the supposed run down on what needs to be done. My call on XX/XX/17, however, was different. When I was in conversation, two people who I spoke to from my loan holder ( MyFedLoan ) said one reason I am being denied is because the gap from one XXXX to the next is larger than seven days which voids the XXXX loan forgiveness I am looking to receive after working five consecutive years in qualifying XXXX. ( Ive worked in three different XXXX in five years ). I am reaching out because not only did one of the people I spoke to said they had no idea about this seven day gap issue, it is no where to be found on neither the application nor website. Because of the withholding of information, myself along with a long list of people may be denied because of lack of transparency, which I believe is very deceitful and should be taken serious and looked into. Complaint: For over the past year I have been trying to make larger payments on my student loans to help get them paid off. I noticed that my balances barely ever looked like they were getting any lower. I contacted them through email as their phone line is impossible to get through. I was sent back a generic response for if I needed assistance because of inability to pay. I had to spend over an hour trying to dig through information on their website so find out that they were putting any extra money that I clearly stated on my checks was for principal towards interest. This is sneaky and only in their best interest. I want all of my payments fixed!!!

Complaint: I consolidated all my federal student loans XX/XX/2010 and entered into an income based repayment plan with payments beginning XX/XX/2010. I have submitted employer verification forms certifying I have been working for either non-profits or a government agency since then. FedLoan Servicing initially denied 5 months as eligible The reasons given for the payments being ineligible are inaccurate ( FedLoan stated they did not receive payment for a month even though I am enrolled in auto-debit and my bank statement clearly shows they withdrew the funds from my account, another month was claimed to be in forbearance even though I never applied or requested that, and the initial 3 months of payments were through XXXX with no record that they were in the Income Based Repayment Plan ). FedLoan has been " reviewing '' 5 payments for over two years. When I call to ask for a status I'm told they need " ample '' time to review and there is no timeline for completing the review.

Complaint: I consolidated all loans in XX/XX/2018. AES was still receiving my payments every month and cashing the checks from my chase account. AES had been paid when i consolidated with fedloan. i called them and they told me to call XXXX. XXXX told me to call AES. AES wont refund my money or let me talk to someone in finance. It is the runaround and AES has cashed 19 checks for XXXX out of my account and never applied to the loan because the loan was paid in full by fedloan as it was refinanced. AES kept my money. please help.

Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below : 90 dates late as of XX/XX/2018, 120 dates late as of XX/XX/2018, 150 dates late as of XX/XX/2018, 180 dates late as of XX/XX/2018, 180 dates late as of XX/XX/2018, 180 dates late as of XX/XX/2018, 180 dates late as of XX/XX/2018. I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me. I did not worry about making a payment when i was not receiving statements because I thought that loans were in deferment.

Complaint: FYI.. none of the prior options to select were pertaining to my issue : I received an XXXX Degree from XXXX XXXX University in XX/XX/XXXX. Shortly after the school was called XXXX ( so have a degree for a school no longer in existence ). I have continually worked for a non profit organization and have paid income based repayments for over the 10 year requirement ( 12 years at this point ). I had initially sent required docs in XX/XX/XXXX to the Department of education so they would know that after my 120 payments, the balance should be forgiven. At that time I received a response that I had not yet made the required payments so to resend info once that part was complete. They mentioned no other issues. Then in XX/XX/XXXX after all required payments were made I sent a new request. I then received a letter stating that I was not consolidated with the right kind of student loan company ( which offers the option on their website ) so I wasn't eligible for the 10 forgives. My loans have increased by over {$10000.00} after paying for 12 years. Since the school switched to XXXX and XXXX failed, allot of students are having the loans wiped out totally. Apparently I don't qualify because my XXXX degree was completed. ( loan balance now XXXX - for an XXXX ). I am simply looking to get the forgiveness that was advertised on my loan holders website. I consolidated with American Education services. Initially was told I keep federal benefits consolidating through them. Working non-profit I have gone without raises for most of the years I have been here and in fact my income has dropped. Was recently told to reach out to CFPB to see if anything can be done.

Complaint: Im enrolled in the public service loan forgiveness program ( which means that I'm also enrolled in an income driven repayment plan ). I have it to where payments are taken out every month. I noticed they didn't take out payments the last two months. When I called and asked them why, they told me than when I enrolled in classes at XXXX XXXX required for my teaching certification ) that my account automatically went in to forbearance. That was the standard operating procedure, even though I paid cash for my classes. They said I should have submitted a deferment waiver. NOBODY told me that and because of the forbearance, my interest was capitalized, making the total amount for my loans increase {$2000.00} within just two months. This is unethical. I looked through all my fedloan paperwork about PSLF and IBR and they don't mention this anywhere.

Complaint: I have noticed that the balance of my loans has more than DOUBLED out of the blue. I went from XXXX to over XXXX!! That is IMPOSSIBLE and I cant get anywhere with the lenders. I would have to have gotten a ridiculous number of degrees to have this even be feasible.
Please help!! This is also concerning ; XXXX reported each course as a single loan?? This MEANS it looks to the world like I was awarded many dozens of single loans. THIS RUINS credit scores NO MATTER how good my credit is otherwise! I am beyond upset and overwhelmed and do not know where else to turn for guidance and help.

Complaint: I am in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program with MyFedLoans. I have been employed with the State of California for almost 7 years, and have been making payments regularly under PSLF. MyFedLoans have still not provided me with an accurate accounting of my loan payments made, after countless phone calls and emails to them. My MyFedLoans account is not up-to-date, and I would like this fixed immediately. Some of my loan payments have been counted this calendar-year, and some have not, with no explanation from MyFedLoans.
I would like this issue resolved as soon as possible.

For the period between XXXX I am listed as making 6 qualifying payments in the XX/XX/XXXX document from FedLoan. The XX/XX/XXXX document lists 0 qualifying payments for that same period between XXXX. Complaint: Regarding, my school loans with Fed Loan Servicing has been the worst experience of my life. Had I known in hindsight that this would be the most negative effect in my life I would not have attended college. Unfortunately, I was not able to choose who my loan servicing would be throughout the duration of my education. After, attending the summer of XXXX courses I spoke with Fed Loan servicing and informed them I had lost my job and was going through a financial hardship. At, this time I was informed I would be placed into a forbearance period. However, this information was not updated correctly by Fed Loan.Fed Loan reports they had not heard from me at all. Fed Loan even reported they made contact with me which, I have not been provided proof they in fact did. Fed Loan reported 126 late payments 60/90/120 days for the year of XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX as delinquent. Upon, applying for a mortgage my FICO reports were pulled and I saw this information. After, reaching out to Fed Loan several times speak to several agents I have been provided with unsatisfactory totally ABYSMAL customer service. The people I have spoken with are rude and not knowledgeable at all of anything. All representatives give different information that is not correct. They put you on hold and act like they are really trying to help you and dont. They are laughing and eating in your ear as if they are not dealing with people financial history which is serious to me. Despite, me calling I have written several letters and no correspondence I have received back. Friday XX/XX/XXXX around XXXXXXXX XXXX. EST I spoke with a representative named XXXX who was very condescending over the phone regarding my account. I explained to her my situation, her response : ITS YOUR FAULT YOU DIDNT CONTACT US YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN YOU DID NOT PAY YOUR LOANS! She said this upon me explaining my situation. She also stated that plenty of letters was sent out to me that I had never received. She also, stated that the letters came back because of incorrect address. As, I explained to her due to this its reflected negative payment history. Once, again she was very rude in her explanation and made me feel worst about my situation. I then requested to speak with a manager, and she put me on hold for five minutes and disconnected the line. She also did not call back. I have requested GOODWILL adjustments from Fed Loan and they all have been denied. The first thing I have been told from XXXX ( Manager ) rep id number XXXX that those adjustments cant be done. However, this is not true because the Department of Education does allow one GOODWILL adjustment. The advisory opinion states that the Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) of the FCRA addresses the duty to correct and update information by furnishers, or persons who furnish information to consumer reporting agencies ( CRA ) such as credit bureaus. In particular, this section requires a person that has furnished to a consumer reporting agency information that the person determines is not complete or accurate to promptly notify the consumer reporting agency of that determination and provide any information needed to make it complete and accurate. Thus, on its face, this provision requires a furnisher to provide corrected or updated information to the consumer reporting agency that it had reported to originally. This duty extends to all student loan accounts reported to CRAs, regardless of whether they were accurate at one point, because the section requires the furnisher both to update accounts as well as to correct. However, Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) clearly shows that the reports must be updated/corrected regardless of whether they were accurate at one point. XXXX This clearly shows that Fed Loan is being in non-compliance with Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ). Since, Fed Loan does not want to be in compliant of the laws then I will move on to my next step of action. This company feels that they dont have to abide by the laws because there is a Federal Student Loan servicing. Fed Loan has hindered me TREMENDOUSLY from getting a mortgage, a career in my field, and also refinancing my loans with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: To whom it may concern : I am writing because for the last 2 years I have submitted an employment certification from that appears to have been processed because I receive a letter stating my employer qualifies. However the letter states I should be getting a notification of my qualifying payment count, the estimated number of payments still required and the date I should be expected to be eligible to apply for forgiveness. The only time I have received such a notification was the very first time I submitted an employment certification from several years ago, before my loans were transferred to MyFedLoan. Below is the email chain of communication I've had with MyfedLoan over the last year. After the first email reply I was told the information would be mailed out within 20 days. I'm tired of poor customer service with no follow through and no consequences. When I call I'm continually told misinformation which is why I now try to only communicate in writing with them. I feel that my loans have been continually mismanaged since being transferred to MyFedLoan to the point that I feel they're actively trying to cause errors so that I can't qualify for the public service loan forgiveness program.

Complaint: I took out XXXX XXXX worth of school loans. In XXXX, someone consolidated my loans, under my name consolidated my loans- my origional loans were through AES- Origional Consolidation Amount- XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX defaulted to Penn Higher Education- {$57000.00} defaulted when i lost my life savings to an apartment fire and the death of my father, I also have severe psychological problems.
Starting in XXXX XXXX- to qualify on loan rehabilitation - I maintained payments for 10 months.I completed the rehabilitation program but thought I was paying my origional loan provider ... the loan is now {$70000.00} out of default- -I Fell into delinquency the 2nd timeI called and called, yet they wouldn't service me. They told me I had to talk to the collection agency -XXXXt- that company haraased me and harrassed my family ... no one would return my calls or emails for 24 months during the collection process -- - The collection company - XXXX now has my school loan at $ XXXX 6.6 % $ XXXX principle Its now at - {$100000.00} with % 20 interest fee- PHEAA now calls me on a daily basis wanting me to consolidate again with a government agency - I am not working, the past 4 companies i worked for went bankrupt- I can not own a home, i have been renting in CA for the past 9 years. My credit is XXXX because of this charge- I get no where accept threats from PHEAA and their past credit recovery system. I have a XXXX XXXX and can not find work right now. I understand on owing my origional loan at $ XXXX how can this be legal that I would now have to pay an extra $ XXXX - I can not afford this, i am scared for my life and my well being. Complaint: This is about the 8th time this has happened, and from reading other statements online from other people going through them is no help. The situation is I will make my student loan payment on time over the phone. It will go through the entire process, and even give me a confirmation number but a few days later I notice no transaction. I will call back and they will tell me the payment is past due and that I never called them even if I have the phone records showing.
