Complaint: I have been the victim of 3 scams, regarding men from dating service, Our TIme, asking for money. # 1 XXXX went to XXXX for gold, over purchased and was unable to get out of the country Since XXXX, due to custom fees, tax fees, jail fees after striking a airport employee preventing him getting on the plane, and hospital fees after suffering a XXXX XXXX. He was working with a tour guide XXXX, and an attorney XXXX XXXX. Claims he has money in shares but all tied up since he is out of the country, Lives in XXXX, one of his residences. Loss of XXXX and now in debt at least this much from him. # 2 Contracted physician working XXXX XXXX requesting help with XXXX XXXX for vacation requests. have spent XXXX in various fees to get the vacation released. Bitcoin and one wire for transfer and still not granted due to I am unable to come up with the final {$2500.00}. required to meet the vacation request. Met XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that he lives in XXXX, however found that he is in XXXX XXXX for contracted job and needs to get out of XXXX XXXX, Was injured in XXXX himself, gunshot wound. Funds locked up at home in bank due to being out of the country. XXXX has been sent to XXXX for his release. XXXX XXXX paid and sent XXXX of the last XXXX after promising to send {$3000.00}. But still owe XXXX or they will cancel the vacation and we will have to start over. Money paid at bitcoin. Still not released. Loves me to the moon and beyond and can pay everything back once out for the vacation. All I need to do is come up with the remaining XXXX and get him out and he will reimburse me 100 % plus more for my trouble and stress. # 3 Our time friend 1-2 months XXXX XXXX. Went to XXXX as airplane repair job for 3 engines that needed to be replaced. Needed money as soon as he got there for custom fees, {$5000.00}. I said no and did not hear from him for 30 days. He needed my help. I was his only hope. His banker financial adviser would front the money to my account and pay credit cards as we used them to obtain money to send to XXXX in XXXX. Payments started being returned to creditors, and I have been left with XXXX debt which I can not pay off. Supposedly has unconditional love for me and ready to marry. Banker stole money from my XXXX XXXX XXXX Father 's bank account that showed in my profile after having obtained access to the account in error. Rules to dating. You are the queen, if they want to date you they pay and never give money to them. Never talk or date anyone outside a 50 mile radius, never allow access to bank accounts. But now I am the one who needs help. What can be done?

Complaint: US Bank raised the monthly payment and the mortgage without explanation. They did finally give a reason almost 2 years later after numerous error complaints. US Bank did not apply payments the day of or the day after submitting payments, including cash, to a local branch. US Bank charged late fees on these delayed payments. Also, US Bank funneled money into a suspense account without my knowledge where those funds were designated to go toward the principle. US Bank does not pay interest on suspense accounts even though requested. US Bank began refusing payments before foreclosure. Also, monthly payments were made far more than enough to bring the loan current, between 4 and 9 times monthly payment amount. US Bank denied a loan modification 3 times without giving a reason even when requested.

Complaint: I bought two {$100.00} Visa prepaid gift cards ( one on XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019 ) at a XXXX near my house. When I went back to use them today ( XX/XX/2019 ), I found that both of the cards have a {$0.00} balance. I called up the company on XX/XX/2019, but since I've since lost the tiny receipts from a month ago, the company 's representative said I'm out my {$200.00} without recourse. On top of that, I was very discouraged to see that this has been an ongoing problem with this company for the past three years ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I can produce digital documentation showing that I bought the cards ( from XXXX and a matching charge on my credit card ), but I don't believe the company will accept that as proof that I purchased the card ( despite their website confirming the date of purchase and the place of purchase ). When looking further on their website, I can see that two ( possibly faked ) contacts registered the cards thru the company 's website. They do not live in the same city/state that I purchased the cards in. None of the transactions on the cards match the state I live in. This company severely needs to invest in adding another layer of security as their currently system is easily hacked.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2016, my colleague XXXX XXXX and I entered into contracts with XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX, Nevada, who presented to me that he was the agent for XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ), XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ). The agreement was for payment for appearances by these three artists at an event on which I was working in the XXXX Area. At the direction of Mr. XXXX, we were to deposit into his account certain agreed upon sums. The deposits into Mr. XXXX XXXX account were as follows : XX/XX/2016 - {$4000.00} ( Check XXXX. XXXX ) deposited at US Bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX - {$6000.00} ( Check No. XXXX ) deposited at US Bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX An additional {$3500.00} was further deposited in form of a cashiers check to a US Bank in XXXX, CA by my colleague XXXX XXXX. After notifying Mr. XXXX of the deposits to his account, Mr. XXXX stated that hed not received the money. Therefore, on XX/XX/2016, I went to U.S. Bank again and asked the representative if the previous cashiers check for {$6000.00} had cleared. The representative stated that the check had not yet cleared. I then deposited {$1500.00} cash into Mr. XXXX account, and as soon as that deposit was made, the representative then stated that the previous cashiers check had in fact cleared and that Mr. XXXX had withdrawn XXXX XXXX Dollars ( {$5000.00} ) from the account. The total sum of the monies deposited into Mr. XXXX account was XXXX XXXX XXXX ( {$15000.00} ). On XX/XX/2016, I telephoned Mr. XXXX to inform him that the US Bank representative confirmed that the cashiers check of {$6000.00} deposited to his account had cleared. Mr. XXXX was upset that US Bank confirmed to me the clearing of the previous deposit. At this point, I suspected that we may have been a victim of fraud because the bank is saying that the check has cleared, whereas Mr. XXXX continued to state that he didn't receive the money. Upon this realization, I went to the US Bank branches in XXXX and XXXX XXXX and requested a stop payment on all checks deposited by us claiming fraud. The XXXX US Bank branch requested that I bring all documents and contracts to them. As requested, I did so and US Bank put a block on Mr. XXXX account while a pending investigation in this matter was in effect. On XX/XX/2016, US Bank returned to me {$4000.00}, and they told me that I should contact XXXX XXXX XXXX to file a claim against Mr. XXXX for fraud. I filed a fraud claim with XXXX XXXX XXXX ; however, with respect {$6000.00} deposit, XXXX XXXX XXXX stated that the Payee received the benefit of the funds, and therefore would not reimburse me for this amount. Moreover, on XX/XX/2016, I went to the XXXX Police Department to file a police report on this matter. While I was there, the police placed a telephone call to Mr. XXXX to question him about this incident. Mr. XXXX did not answer and did not return the call. As a longstanding patron of US Bank and of XXXX XXXX XXXX and with a significant number of family members being longtime employees of XXXX XXXX XXXX, I expected more than what I received in this situation. The inconsistency in the policies is disgraceful. On the one hand, US Bank returned {$4000.00} into my account when check had already cleared understanding the fraudulent activities by Mr. XXXX, but refused to return any additional deposit amounts and instead directing me to file a claim with XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is blatantly inconsistent and I request that XXXX XXXX XXXX, either itself or with US Bank, pursue my claim and issue me a refund of the remaining amount due ( {$11000.00} ). I agree to assist in any way I can in the prosecution of Mr. XXXX. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

This situation really affects my XXXX health, because as you can see I do not have any late payment on all my debts, I have being extremely responsible with all the financial institutions that I have a relation with, and this hard inquire drops my score. I want from you to remove that inquire because i did not request any credit from this institution.

Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2019, I contacted US Bank to report 17 unauthorized charges made to my checking account using my debit card ending in XXXX. US Bank issued provisional credit to my account on XX/XX/2019 in the amount of {$4200.00}, inclusive of any fees associated with the fraudulent charges. Claim number XXXX was opened. I timely returned the affidavit of fraudulent charges and patiently awaited resolution of my claim. On or about XX/XX/2019, I received two letter from US Bank dated XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, indicating that US Bank has found in favor of the merchant and that they would be reapplying the fraudulent transactions to my account. I was shocked and surprised to see that US Bank is requiring me to pay for fraudulent transactions which I did not authorize nor did I receive benefit from. US Bank proudly displays its Zero Fraud Liability guarantee but it appears that it nothing more than a farce. US Bank has flouted federal law by forcing me to pay nearly {$4000.00} in charges which I did not make. My follow up calls to US Banks Fraud Department, Office of the President, and US Bank General Counsel XXXX XXXX has of of the date of this complaint yielded not results. I am considering filing a small claims action to redress my loss.

Complaint: US BANK initially lost a certified cashier 's check in the amount of {$4500.00}, which was sent directly from XXXX XXXX to US Bank by XXXX. The check was signed for by a US Bank representative. We refused to make payments to the loan until US Bank located the check or resolved our dispute by crediting the amount of the cashier 's check ( as we could not simply place a stop on certified funds ). The bank failed to acknowledge the fact that we were already out of XXXX and could not continue to make payments until we were positive the payments were actually going to be acknowledged and credited to our account. US Bank denied losing our check and refused to take any action. Needless to say, during the pendency of our valid dispute, the deficient mortgage balance doubled due to foreclosure attorney 's fees. We requested US Bank to itemize the foreclosure attorney 's fees to ensure the fees were reasonable, but they refused. The loan currently has more than XXXX in attorney 's fees and we are unable to pay this amount, especially considering the mortgage is now XXXX delinquent. US BANK refuses to take our calls and the account is not available online.

Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX my husband and I went to XXXX XXXX to get our 2004 tax bill reviewed and our tax specialist gave us a letter to send to the IRS it was nothing more complicated he said he was billing us XXXX dollars for the consultation however we noticed the next day he had charged our debit card for {$170.00} which is XXXX dollars more than we agreed to, I called him to get some explanation of these charges and he had to call me back then texted me to apologize an said he couldn't reverse the charges and I would have to have my bank reverse the charges then he could bill me the correct amount so I went to the bank who gave me a temporary refund of the XXXX but after their review of the info im guessing he didn't admit to what he did because the bank now says they cant refund me for his services they're letting him charge me the XXXX dollars that will be again billed to me on XX/XX/XXXX this is insanity also im not entirely sure but we may have also paid him again the XXXX after we were refunded so he may be getting away with almost XXXX for what should only ever been XXXX his name is XXXX XXXX at XXXX my bank id us bank at XXXX is diret line to XXXX at card sevices who denied my claim I need help and soon they cant charge me so much more than was agreed to how can they do this no he didn't give us a receipt either didn't think we needed one XXXX XXXX never tried to rob us before so we left there feeling pretty safe I guess you never know it can be anyone we were at XXXX on XXXX XXXX in XXXX this guy also works at the XXXX XXXX in XXXX Utah please help me I don't want his services free I was happy to pay the XXXX I do not want to pay any more than I owed him

Complaint: Fidelity Rewards Credit Card, issued by Elan Financial Services issued a duplicate credit card for my account to an unauthorized individual in another state. I caught it and informed them ; I was forced to get a new card. Fidelity ( Elan ) has made security on my account so tight, I gave up using it and attempted to close the account. Balance is XXXX ; I requested the account be closed on XX/XX/XXXX ( sent to the Office of the President @ Elan ). I have not received a response. I sent an email to XXXX XXXX, CEO of Fidelity as well as XXXX XXXX, Head of Customer Core Journeys. I did not receive a response. I then emailed XXXX XXXX, CEO of Parent of Elan, US Bank Corp. and XXXX XXXX, Senior VP @ US Bank Corp. and. I haven't received a response.

Complaint: My mother had a credit card with Capital City Bank. She passed away on XX/XX/XXXX. I called Capital City Bank, advised them of mother 's death and asked them to stop auto-debiting our joint account. I was told two things : 1 ) the future auto-debits would be canceled and 2 ) the current payment was pending and to call back the next day to have it reversed. When I called back today and spoke with representative and a manager I was told.. '' I apologize for the loss of your mother ... .we can't give you any information nor can we confirm or deny that auto-payment was canceled nor can we assit you in canceling your mother 's auto-payment from your checking account. '' So even though my mother passed away on XX/XX/XXXX, and Capital City Bank was notified, they still took {$200.00} from my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX even though they had advised me that this would not happen. I feel as if they are taking advantage of me as a consumer and are trying to profit from the death of my mom.

Complaint: 1. On or around XX/XX/2019, I visited the US Bank website to request a quote for opening a new card with a balance transfer. 2. After submitting my information for the quote, I was presented an offer that did not meet my needs and I declined by closing out of my web browser after the offer was presented. I did not accept the offer or indicate my acceptance. 3. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from US Bank welcoming me as a new credit card customer, along with the last 4 digits of a new card assigned to me. 4. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a new US Bank credit card in the US Mail, along with the standard new customer information. My concern is that I did not authorize this new card or accept the offer provided. US Bank should have never opened it in my name without my explicit consent and I did not authorize the hit against my credit report to open this line of credit. I want this corrected immediately.

Complaint: The Fidelity Investment Credit Card, provided by Elan, has recently updated their XXXX software app so that the user can no longer see pending transactions and posted transactions. I believe this was done to make it difficult to pay off the balance in real time ( previous incremental changes made it difficult to pay balances too, but are not discussed here ). But this also makes it difficult for the user to monitor potential fraud on their account. This information is also valuable to monitor spending and should be easily accessible. A user can have enormous charges pending, but the app shows a {$0.00} balance for several days. There is a way to see transactions through a desktop web portal, but its convoluted to do so. Theres no reason for balance information to be hard to access, besides ill intent. The recent change to their user app is alarming and suspicious. This does not seem like a user friendly change, but rather the opposite. This deserves investigation. Ive contacted the company through two mediums, but they have not responded.

Complaint: I monitor my credit score using free online services. These services showed that one of my credit card companies had reported an incorrect balance for the month of XXXX. It should have been XXXX. This caused my credit score to go down 5 points. I filed a dispute with each of the credit monitoring companies : XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. XXXX fixed the problem, but after a month of waiting for XXXX to correct the error, their results showed a different incorrect amount instead of XXXX. They told me that's what the credit card company had given them. I always pay in full each month. And when I requested that the credit card company send me a statement for XXXX, they emailed back saying that there was no statement for that month because there was no activity and a balance of XXXX. Added note : The card in question is in my husband 's name with me as an authorized user.
