Complaint: I recently looked at my credit reports and noticed that US BANK/ELAN FINL SVCS,XXXX .... reported negative marks 30 day lates on my reports WITHOUT ever telling me they were going to report them. I believe this is incredibly unfair and had I received the federally mandated notice to me, I would have paid on time. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 623 ( a ) ( 7 ) ( A ) ( i ) and ( B ) ( i ), they has a responsibility to provide a notice furnishing of negative information, in writing, to the customer and that this notice is to be given to the consumer prior to or no later than 30 days after furnishing the negative information In fact, the Federal Reserve even created a published form so that creditors can be in compliance. Here is the compliant verbiage : We may report information about your account to credit bureaus. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account may be reflected in your credit report. In short, I never received such a warning notice! I understand that according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, failing to provide this notice can result in a penalty up to {$2500.00} and can be enforced by theFTC, and that my state attorney general can also enforce this with a {$1000.00} penalty as well. I attached a copy of the law and the actual document from the federal reserve

Complaint: I obtained a secured credit card with US Bank in XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX CL. On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to the website to pay off the balance of nearly XXXX. I looked at pending payments and 3 payments for the same amount showed up. I cancelled 1 and all 3 pending payments disappeared. I rescheduled the payment and once again, 3 pending payments displayed. Figured this was a software defect with how the website displayed the data. On XXXX, my checked my local XXXX account and 3 separate payments for nearly XXXX had posted and cleared my account causing a XXXX over-payment. Logged into USBank 's website and showed I had nearly a XXXX credit balance and nearly XXXX available credit. -- I called USBank on XXXX and spoke with a CSR. She indicated a paper check would be issued on Friday and would arrive in XXXX business days. -- I checked USBank 's website on XXXX and still showed nearly XXXX credit balance but only XXXX available credit. -- Called USBank on XXXX and the 2nd CSR said that they would not be able to issue a refund that quickly as they would have to investigate and it would most likely be Monday XXXX and that the overpayment would be refunded via ACH. -- Called USBank on XXXX and with website still showing XXXX available credit and XXXX credit balance. She indicated that the ACH should be getting pushed that day but said there was no way to know for sure. -- Spoke with USBank Social Media relations on XXXX and she indicated she would escalate and someone would call me within 24 BUSINESS hours ( i.e. 3 business days ). -- Called USBank on XXXX and requested to immediately speak to a supervisor. Wound up having to spend 15 minutes with 1st line CSR before he would allow me to speak to supervisor. -- Transferred to supervisor on XXXX who assured me that it was being taken care of. Asked what that meant and she indicated that the ACH will be issued. I asked for clarification of " will '' as in future tense ( if so, when ) or " has been ''. She said had been -- that she could see that the ACH refund transaction had been initiated. -- As of XXXX, there was no money returned to my local XXXX. However, at this point, my available credit was nearly XXXX dollars on a XXXX CL secured card. -- Called USBank again on XX/XX/XXXX and CSR indicated that all opened cases had been closed and that a physica check for the amount owed had been sent to me and would reach me in 7-10 business days ( now putting us 3 weeks of them holding my money interest fee ). He apologized profusely, said that he would escalate etc. As a direct result of the negligence of USBank : -- I have not been able to pay my rent because I have not had access to the XXXX bucks I was expecting to have. -- I have bounced a check with my local credit union because my balance has been XXXX less than it should be through USBank 's pulling my payment three times. -- I have had my cell phone disconnected due to the bounced check and have had to pay a re-connection fee and bounced check fee. -- I have had to spend over 8 hours over the last 10 days ( the equivalent of 1 business day ) trying to resolve this situation. I work full time and this is the equivalent of one day off from work for which I have not been paid. Attached, please find the statement that shows 3 payments for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Please remember this payment was for a XXXX CL Secured card. Most credit cards will not allow you to pay more than 7-10 percent more than your actual balance.

Complaint: I called in to dispute a late charge fee at U.S. Bank because I was not aware that I had missed a payment due to the fact that i had been unable to access into my acc. Earlier before, I had been granted access by a different agent into my acc. After, reviewing my account, i called and spoke with XXXX who was the first agent i spoke to dispute my charge and she attempted to make me believe that a fee could only be disputed after a payment had been posted. Therefore, if the payment showed pending, she would still not be able to do anything. She then only pressured me to make payment ( disregarding my request ). I was willing to make the full payment but i found this rationality odd. I then thanked her for her customer service and called back again. At this point, I'm speaking with XXXX who informed me that a reversal had been made on XXXX which is why she could not grant me this request. I then chose to request to speak with her Supervisor " XXXX '' but he too denied my request. He never recognized the fact that i had not been receiving the bills or that i had been blocked out of my acc to which i had just been granted. Very poor customer experience. I will be paying the XXXX XXXX dollar debt and ending my relation with this bank. I would however appreciate any help about the late fee ( its bad enough that my credit is affected due to a glitch error ). Yes, i could have called before but i was not aware my account was not up to date.

Complaint: On XX/XX/19 at XXXX XXXX I received a call from a company claiming to represent XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card collections. After I had told her I had a lawyer and was filing bankruptcy she began to ask more questions, I told her my lawyer would handle it, and she still kept asking questions so I just hung up. But They called before XXXX on a Sunday, and from what I understand that its against the law to be called before XXXX or after XXXX on a Sunday. Call was received from the following number +1 ( XXXX ) XXXX This is after I have been called repeatedly throughout the weekdays days for this specific debt over and over multiple times a day. And now its even happening on sundays outside of hours.

Called customer support, and they can't pull up ANY history for the card ; they state the card number isn't in their database. This is a new card, never lost or stollen. This is theft by MasterCard gist card services.

Complaint: For greater than one year I have repeatedly requested that XXXX remove US Bank 's reporting of three foreclosures occurring on the same property in XXXX when the debt was fully satisfied in XXXX. I have made formal written requests and have contacted both by telephone. They both indicate it is the other Company 's fault. The attached pdfs include a letter from US Bank acknowledging the error and blaming XXXX. Also attached, in a dispute to US Bank, is the contact from XXXX that stated that US Bank keeps verifying the information. My dispute of XX/XX/XXXX was again confirmed as accurate on XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: - US Bank website has many problems and glitches including but not limited to not being able to save bank account info, in addition, the system does not pass the account info correctly. - this resulted in -sometimes- that they said the bank account info is wrong which in fact it isnt, because I check them three times before sending. - in turn this resulted in late payments and late fees, and when I call to resolve, they dont waive the fees. - in turn when I pay the lease amount, it doesnt fulfill the full amount as the late fees carry over, which I turn accrue another late fee consequently. - basically its a scam and a lousy website. - finally, they sent me a letter that they reported the late fee to the credit bureau which will affect my credit score. So in a nutshell they are damaging my financial well-being.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my debit card was declined for parking ( {$0.00} ) which is exceptionally odd because I always keep money in the account and I just had my paycheck directly deposited. I called and was told the card was cancelled and would I like a new one, when I asked why they told me they did not know but everything on my account is ok and there is nothing to worry about. I just got this card, it was a replacement for one where the chip failed, and the bank XXXX that one up too. This new card, with a new number ( the last replacement card was specifically instructed to retain the same number for payments to other accounts and institutions ) was expedited on XX/XX/XXXX, today is the XXXX. I still have not received the card. My other institutions are demanding that they get paid, no money is going in or out if my account. I went, in person, to the local branch, they said they had no idea and could not reach anyone to get more information. They also said my card arrived on the XXXX and was signed for. This is completely made up, myself and everyone else never signed for a package. I have no access to my account and my money, no one knows why or is not telling me, I am now get hassled for late/missed payments that should not have been missed. This is unacceptable, I have not done anything wrong or outside my normal patterns, I have not been a victim of fraud. I was give No notice, unfairly treated and lied to.
