Complaint: The bank credit card company paid a bill from XX/XX/XXXX from an account that I had previously closed. The company 's customer reps who I talked with by phone said they could not understand why the bill was paid because the account had been previously closed. A customer rep in the XXXX XXXX in person found that the account was closed in XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX XXXX credit report shows that the account was closed in XXXX of XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote to the bank credit card address given on the credit card statement that my account being changed had been previously closed. To date ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I have not received any explanation -- though as a result of my in-person meeting with the bank rep, they notified me in a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX that they had opened a claim that I was disputing the vendor 's charge ( which was not my complaint ). I have also received my XXXX statement which has a {$25.00} late fee attached! I do not mind paying the bill ( minus the late fee ) if I get an assurance from the company that no further charges on the closed account will be billed to me.

Complaint: I am a recovering victim of ID Theft which arose from a stolen wallet in XX/XX/XXXXand on XX/XX/XXXX I aquired my ( 3 ) credit reports from each of the bureaus and was horrified to find that there are ( 13 ) unknown accounts on my credit and numerous amounts of inquiries which I did not authorize. On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote my first letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX I wrote to the creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX and informed them that the account was unknown to me and that I requested full validation for the account. Please see the attached letters and proof of mail by certified delivery informing the creditor/agent they are reporting an account that is unknown to me and that they are reporting inaccurate data regarding this account and th reply from the company, please note the incorrect address that XXXX XXXX XXXX has relating to this account XXXX of which it is unknown to me. To determine if this is an issue of identity theft or somebody with the same name as I, I requested information verifying the transaction and details such as ; 1. was this account opened in person or on line 2. what identification was used to verify the customer opening the account therefore, to determine this my request was for validation including competent evidence bearing my signature and a copy of the instrument used to secure a contractual agreement that now proves I am obligated to pay. I made it clear in my letters that the negative marks found on my credit report held by the ( 3 ) reporting bureaus and reported by their company or any other company that they represent for this debt that I do not owe IS a violation of the FCRA and FDCPA and I requested that if this debt can not not be validated this company must take steps to have all reporting bureaus delete this entry immediately. It is ridiculous that it is now over 120 days since my initial request for validation in XX/XX/XXXX, and the only documents sent to me were copies of statements requesting payment. My latest request to XXXX XXXX XXXX made XX/XX/XXXX is now well over the 30 days time frame as per law and this collection company is out of compliance. Under advise, I wish to informed XXXX XXXX XXXX that I am prepared to take steps to file a small claim case in my county small claims court. I would like to make this one last good faith effort and ask for the assistance of the CFPB in obtaining one of two things 1. that this company provide me with full debt validation as per FCRA & FDCPA 2. deletion of this invalidated account from my credit reports

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I visited a TD Bank branch on XXXX and XXXX, XXXX, to convert money for an upcoming trip. I was informed that the rate was {$1.00} USD to {$1.00} EUR. I informed the representative in the bank that it seemed wrong but she insisted and stated that in addition I would be charged a fee of {$7.00}. I have no problem with the fee, I have a problem with the extra {$83.00} that I was charged. When I arrived at home I went on several bank and financial sites and saw that the rate on this day was {$1.00} US to XXXX EUR. So for {$400.00} EUR I paid {$490.00}. I immediately contacted the number on the back of my TD Card and was informed that they could not tell me the exchange rate nor could they do anything about it and that I had to call the number on my receipt. I contacted the number on the receipt given to me by TD Bank and while on hold it said TD Bank foreign exchange but when the representative answered and I informed her of the matter she stated that I had contacted the wrong number and needed to call the number on the back of my card. I explained that I had done that and was referred to her number for assistance I asked what the exchange rate was she stated that it depended on where I reside so she is unable to provide me with that information. Complete dishonesty and a runaround.

Complaint: I had a low balance of on my debit account at TD of {$6.00}. I fueled up at a gas station on a Wednesday after XXXX using credit. Knowing that it would run through as {$1.00} for a few days before the full amount processed. Where I would load up the account with more than enough money early Friday morning before the banks open. So no harm no foul and I would never reach a negative balance. As planned that's exactly how it all played out. Except that weekend TD decided the would still like to charge me an overdraft when there never was an overdraft or a negative balance on my statement. Huh? ... Funny how that works. Literally stole from me. Called to reverse the fee they refused and I will be closing my account immediately, as I do not like to do business with liars and crooks.

Complaint: To whomever you may be on the other end of this correspondence, .. thank you for your time and help, I never received the XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX statement showing a payment due. -We have not been 30 days late on a credit card in several years ( 5-10 years+ ) -On XXXX XXXX Target XXXX XXXX " collections dept . '' contacted me in regards to my payment being 30 days past due, actually 38 days past due by the time they first contacted me. -I immediately paid the balance {$110.00} -They then contacted me AGAIN in regards to the same balance amount on XX/XX/18 -I paid the balance again. -This resulted in an over payment and a refund from them. -I disputed their reporting this 30 day late to the credit bureaus & directly with them. They said their records are accurate but clearly they are not and this is proven by their double collection of the same payment. -The statement was never received otherwise this small store credit card would have been paid. This is their error and it is greatly effecting my credit score. -- It is having a direct impact on our financing options and intrest rate on the purchase of a home and the intrest rate of that 30 year mortgage.

Complaint: TD Bank is giving me headaches. I put in a dispute for charges that were suppose to be funded back to me. Apparently, I won the dispute against the merchant and was credited back {$100.00} into my checking account. I already had an overdraft for something I'm taking responsibility for. So I see another debited transaction for {$100.00}! I called the customer service to figure why I now have - {$220.00} in my checking account. Apparently the dispute department credited me {$100.00} twice!! Which I didn't know and held liable for something that was their mistake and not mine! Now I'm held responsible for their mistake!!! Is this fair? It sure not!!! Someone screwed up their job and I'm scapegoat for it!! I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere because this is ridiculous!!!!!
