Complaint: I was previously a customer of XXXX. I cancelled my account and paid the final amount due in full, but an additional amount was reported to collections. XXXX claimed I had XXXX digital set top boxes, and did n't return XXXX of them. At the time, I lived in a XXXX, and definitely did not have a need for or possess more than one cable box. When I received a notice from the debt collection agency XXXX referred the bill to, Southwest Credit Systems, I requested that the debt be validated XXXX days after their initial contact. They did not respond, and have not responded to repeated requests to validate this debt. I 've filed disputes with the credit bureaus, but each time they claim the debt is valid based on information that Southwest Credit Systems supplies to them, but has never provided to me.

I 've contacted XXXX & XXXX in writing and requested a permanent removal to this item since it does n't belong to me, the mailed me back that the item remains and they did n't include any proof to support their investigation or any proofs pairing signature that the item belongs to me. so, I contacted them again in writing requesting from them to provide a solid proof pairing my signature as proof of my ownership to this account, yet the failed to provide anything or documentation pairing my signature and they still stated the item remains on my report. XXXX wo n't give me any answers or access to learn about the account since it 's not mine.
