Complaint: I have an account with Simmons Bank. I came in to cash a check for a small amount from my father who has the same last name as me. I brought the check along with my driver 's license and Simmons debt card to the bank teller inside the bank. The teller looked up my account information and spent about 3-4 minutes scroupoulousy looking it over for whatever reason. He finally asked me " whos signature is this because it doesnt match what have on file ''. I replied in litteral disbelief " My dad 's signature ''. He then said to me " no it's not his signature because the signature on this check does not match the signature I have here '' The teller then tried calling my dad and dialed the wrong person. I then called my dad and told him what was going on. He was not happy about this and told me he would take care of it. He called his hometown branch location and told them what was going on. He called me back to let me know that it had all been taken care of and they should let me cash the check now. After I got off the phone with my father the teller manager came over and asked what was going on. The normal teller I had been dealing with showed the signatures to her and all she sassily said was " Oh yeah those aren't even close! '' And walked off without even speaking to me. Nobody asked how important the check was or discussed it with me. Nobody cared! I was panicking because my rent was due at the end of the day. I literally left the bank crying because of the way I was treated. The Simmons teller for whatever reason wrote my simmons account number on the check before I left. Thankfully my XXXX XXXX was able to take the 2-day hold off of the check after I talked them about why my Simmons account number was written on the check and my awful experience at Simmons. I feel as though the simmons teller saw that I had {$3.00} in this rarely used account and assumed my business was fraudulent. If I kept a higher balance he would not have cared. As of XXXX/XXXXXXXX19 I tried emailing Simmons customer service and never received a reply about my problem. I work during their normal business hours. Simmons actually took away my ability to withdraw money from the atm with my debt card. I was able to get ahold card holder customer service and the lady had me confirm my identity. After explaining my situation to her she tells me that their fraud department had set my atm limit to {$0.00}. She wouldn't tell me why. I finally got her to turn the limit up temporarily so I could most of my cash out of my account ( {$380.00} ). As of XX/XX/19 I tried using my Simmons debt card to try and use up the remaining {$16.00} in the account. My debt card will not work anywhere. They had my card completely shut off.

Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, My mother, the illustrious XXXX formerly known as XXXX passed away on XX/XX/2019 largely due to Simmons banking policies which made it impossible for her to access her bank account from overseas despite their misleading Bank Anywhere promotions to afford more potentially life-saving treatment, like XXXX XXXX XXXX for her XXXX. Even the kind intervention of her personal banker, Ms. XXXX XXXX could not help her to access her own money in her own account due to your lack of international policies governing access to accounts and/or confirmation of identity. Today many of my mother 's documents were ceased from her assistant in XXXX who was attempting to have her funds wired to me because they feared that Simmons Bank in Arkansas would not release her funds to anyone, either after their experience with Simmons Bank in trying to get access to her own funds for much needed medical treatment before it was too late. I learned that they tried to have the funds wired to my bank account, after we met them and had her documents returned to us here in XXXX.I might add that my mothers assistants have been of invaluable aid to my mother in her last days, despite their recent mistakes and mistake filling out her SS form some months ago. My mother 's bank account number is : XXXX Her SS end is : XXXX Mine ends in XXXX I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE INFORMATION ON THE PROCESS OF HAVING THE FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT released to her next of kin/executor which I am. I have asked Simmons Bank to provide this information to me. I have provided a photograph of the death certificate for my mother to Simmons Bank.This document is issued only once to the next of kin in XXXX, so I can not send the original as it is irreplaceable. It is a picture that was taken with my phone. My mother was a XXXX citizen and I am here in XXXX after having buried her here as was her request. I am an American citizen living abroad, however I do have a US address and bank account. Again, I would appreciate it, if you would assist me in having Simmons Bank let me know the procedure that I must follow to take possession of my mothers funds as next of kin. After my mothers tragic experience with Simmons Bank, I expect them to be very uncooperative.

Complaint: Simmons Bank is reporting an account as adverse against my credit file which has caused a drop in my XXXXredit score of almost 100 points. The account shows over 30 days past due and it has never been late. I have contacted the creditor numerous times and they agree that the account was never 30 days past due and should be updated. However, the account has not been updated on my credit report and my credit score is still affected. I have disputed this item with XXXX XXXX and the creditor will still not update the account. I have emails from the creditor stating they agree with me and the account should be updated to show it has NOT been 30 days past due. I have also given a copy of my credit report to the creditor to show them the incorrect information is still being reported and nothing has been done. I need to get this account corrected. I have been working on this since XX/XX/2019.

Complaint: Simmons Bank calls an unreasonable number of times a day. Yesterday, for example, they called my home number once and my cell twice ( about fifteen minutes apart ), for a total of three calls in one day. They do this every month. I have asked them to change my address twice, but they still do not send me billing statements. The balance of the debt is around {$300.00}. I did not tell them to not contact me at all. I'm tired of trying to cook dinner and take care of XXXX kids while they ring my phone. This is beyond ridiculous.
