Complaint: I have a mortgage that is serviced by Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. The loan was a refinance that originated in XXXX XXXX. We have been current on the mortgage ever since its inception, paying bi-weekly to reduce the overall lifetime cost of the loan. We reached 80 % loan to value ratio months ago, but Roundpoint refused to eliminate the mortgage insurance monthly premium until the loan was at least 2 years old. Currently, we are well beyond 2 years since the origination. This month XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, our loan principle reach 77.8 % LTV. Roundpoint 's website says that once a loan falls to 78 % LTV, the PMI ( mortgage insurance ) will automatically terminate. So, I just contacted them via phone to arrange this. Now they tell me that they will not remove the PMI until XXXX XXXX, when they " scheduled '' the loan to reach 78 % LTV. Because we have been paying bi-weekly since the loan 's inception, we reached 78 % earlier than they " scheduled '' it to occur. However, I feel this is arbitrary and nonsensical. Moreover, since XXXX facilitates my bi-weekly payments through automatic withdraw, they should have adjusted the date the loan was " scheduled '' to reach 78 % LTV accordingly.

Complaint: My loan was sold to them this past month, and I 've been trying to get a hold of them to inquire steps and billing in order to make my first payment. It seems that they have been ignoring my calls, emails, etc. I want to think this company is honest but i 'm finding it hard to think they are. My accounts have been locked, and when I call I 've been on hold for over an hour.

We paid our escrow total and they misapplied the funds.
we paid XXXX to principle and they misapplied the funds-AGAIN.
We have tried to contact their ombudsman and she sent us to another person who will now not respond. sent a letter to the XXXX and the XXXX of XXXX NC.
Please help. we are seniors and can not afford for them to take our money when we are try to pay off the loan.

Complaint: In XXXX of 2015, a company called Roundpoint acquired the mortgage on my rental house. During the transition of payment from XXXX to Roundpoint I had been instructed by Roundpoint on how to set up our monthly payment on Auto pay. I was at that time paying automatically through my online banking with XXXX to make this monthly payment to XXXX. The process I followed did not get completed properly and my XXXX payment did not process. I was not aware of this until notified in XXXX of the missed monthly payment for XXXX. When this was brought to my attention, I immediately made payment to Roundpoint for the XXXX and XXXX payment simultaneously bringing my account current. This unfortunately did not forgo them reporting me as being 30 days late to the credit bureau for missing the XXXX payment. I contacted Roundpoint to explain what happened and that this was an error on my part but was in no way being negligent in my obligation to pay. After their further analysis of the situation, although they understood the circumstances, they told me that their reporting was justified and that they would not change their reporting to the credit bureau.
I am hoping that you will consider these events as out of the ordinary as I have excellent credit and have a history of paying my bills on time. When you look at our history of payments on this mortgage, you will not find a month, prior to XXXX 2015, where we missed a payment. We also receive $ XXXX in rent for this property and have ample funds to make the payment.
My complaint here is that Roundpoint would not make an exception and realize that this reporting should not stand and affect my business expansion capabilities. They were not quick to help, they were quick to let me know that they reported properly and that nothing I could say do or dispute would change that. They were only quick to let me know that they did everything right.

Complaint: we applied for a mortgage loan modification back on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was the owner of my loan, after XXXX denials they transfer my loan to RoundPoint now round point has approve a modification of the loan but I do n't think it is a fair XXXX, they lower XXXX to the principal balance witch I appreciate but we owed around XXXX XXXX dollars over the value of the house and they are giving us an interest rate of XXXX, the only income to the house hold is thru my husband`s work, so he would have to work over time to be able to make this payments and over time is not always there, and even if it was my husband is a XXXX XXXX XXXX we would finish paying the loan in XXXX is he going to be able to work as a XXXX that long. we bought this house in XXXX and we will finish in XXXX how is this fair

Complaint: Roundpoint mortgage did several dubious things while processing my PMI removal request which costed me more than {$2000.00} and extreme amount of stress. I submitted the request in XXXX of 2015, RPM took painfully long time to process my request. They sent appraiser who did n't calculate the Square footage correctly ( XXXX SQFT ).
Roundpount mortgage never took my calls seriously. It took them 6 months to initiate the request again with multiple followups and more than XXXX calls.
They even lost my faxes ( Which has social security number mentioned ).
Overall it took them more than an year to process a simple request which costed me more than {$2000.00}.
I dont feel that my records and financial information is safe with rountpoint mortgage.

Complaint: I have mortgage insurance on my mortgage loan and now have the funds to lower my loan to an amount acceptable to remove the mortgage insurance. I have been trying to get the mortgage company to comply with removing it but they continue to give me the runaround and will not help to get this resolved. I attempted to start this process in XXXX of 2015 and have made no less then XXXX calls to them including emailing a form document they requested to have this removed. I then called on XXXX and spoke to XXXX and XXXX ( the supervisor ) for 57 minutes before they assured me I will receive an email outlining what I need to complete so they can remove the mortgage insurance. I never got that email. I then call back on XXXX and spoke to XXXX. Again 33 minutes later she assured me she would forward my information to the loan department and I would get a call back that same day. I never got a call back. It is very frustrating as if I owed them money they would be calling me 5 times a day to get paid but because this it something to benefit me they are refusing to help. This is very unfair as I have the funds to pay in to get it removed but I can not get a straight answer.
