Complaint: See all attached files associated with this. They keep saying I am XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I repeatedly told the plantiffs attorney that I am not here and that my father 's name would have to be XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX My father 's legal name is XXXX XXXX . He has been deceased since XX/XX/XXXX. They are saying that the account was opened in XX/XX/XXXX with the address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Tx. My legal address as of XX/XX/XXXX is on file with this agency. Also there is another document attached from the XXXX County website where you can access court records. If you will notice there is no TX DL No found associated with this person. I provided the processor with a legal birth certificate and the plantiffs attorney would not buy it and is not buying it even after I talked to him. They are saying I am XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am not. We are not the same person. I guess they will say that the DL NO belongs to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Any legal document will not have initials on it, it will be a full name.

Portfolio Recovery has responded with an invalid instrument of indebtness according to our laws. which means PRA is in violation of the FCPDA. Complaint: Portfolio Recovery Associates are not only trying to collect a debt larger than I believe I owe but debt may be past statue of limitations and they're doing it in a harassing and illegal manner. They call my home phone and cell phone multiple times a day from different spoofed numbers from different states. They are breaking the fair debt collection practices daily.. I would like them to work with me on the debt I actually owe - the original debt was for no more than 750.00 while they're trying to collected over 1,400.00 with " fees '' and doing it in a hostile and illegal way.

Complaint: Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC and XXXX XXXX XXXX are trying to bill me with accrued interests and fees for a debt over 7 years and already written off by the bank and off my credit report per FCRA, and ECOA ( regulation B ). The last time they tried to bill me in XX/XX/2017, I filed a police report for fraud because someone had stolen my Drivers License, Social Security and checks from a house I rented at the address where the account was opened. They took the account of my credit bureau and off my person now almost 2 years later I get this bill from Portfolio Re covery Associates, LLC with a bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX for an account over 7 years old, off my person and off credit report per FCRA & ECOA and already reported as fraud and taken off by the bank.
