Complaint: I have filled out loan modification paperwork with Ocwen Loan on numerous occasions, trying to get my mortgage modified. I am upside down on the mortgage and have been having problems making payments. Every time that I fill out the paperwork and send it in, they always send me a letter back stating that " IRS Form XXXX needs to be resent ''. I keep sending it back in, only to get a letter back stating I need to resend it again. Is this their way of not wanting to do a modification and think that after time, I will get tired of constantly sending this in?

Complaint: This is a mortgage loan over 10 years and they still have it active. the home was foreclosed on by the homeowners association which I no longer have the property but they still call to pursue payment. saying that i still have the property I spoke with someone there they told me show them documents that the homeowners accumulated the property and they should Release Me From This death and they not have done so I went back got all the documents and email them and they did n't live up to the word.

Months in, i have sent every shred of evidence that i have and they keep playing games. They will never accept it and now the window is closing in 3 days. I even got a letter from work and still nothing is good enough. Every rep that call does 0 homework and reads off the same script every time.

Complaint: My mortgage has been paid in full to this company and they are telling 6 months before the lien is released. I need this lien released immediately. I have another bank that I refinanced through that has to place the lien on the property. I have kept calling and keep getting told its " in process. '' No one is helping get this lien released.

May this written grievance serve as a demand for immediate action within Ocwen, in regards to an illegal attempt at foreclosure sale of the property of homeowner XXXX XXXX XXXX.It is a fact that XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), has failed to perform the following actions under the non-judicial Power of Sale Notice and Requirements under Missouri State foreclosure laws and procedures. These violations are consistent with no publications indicating an auction sale date, time, location or the property in any of the local papers for XXXX, MO. The XXXX local newspaper publications ' would be " XXXX '' and " XXXX XXXX ''. The auction date time location and property description publications, are required to be run for 20 days leading up to the date of sale. Secondly, there has been no certified nor registered mail to XXXX in regards to a pending sale date on his property. The 20 day publication notice of sale is supposed to be also time lined ,20 days from the date of proof of service of notice of sale ; which XXXX never received. Furthermore, this property is still pending a litigation matter with and active case number of XXXX XXXX XXXX. Your client Ocwen Loan Servicing is also still party to the mention lawsuit as well. We are seeking an immediate halt to the sale date pending for XXXX XXXX, 2016. Otherwise a civil suit will be filed in Missouri XXXX court regarding this matter with request for punitive damages. Additionally, the notice of sale attached was received via regular mail on XXXX XXXX, 2016, which is in violation and has given XXXX less than 15 days to prepare for his defense and is in violation to his legal due process.

Complaint: We are attempting short sale for loan # XXXX. Ocwen has been uncooperative. I have been advised that the account is currently with XXXX XXXX and was provided a phone number of XXXX, ext. XXXX. This is not a working extension. I have attempted to use the dial by name directory and there is no one with the name XXXX XXXX in the directory. I contact Ocwen customer service ( XXXX ), twice I spoke with Representative ID # XXXX ( XXXX? ), the first time he transferred me to the short sale department, I hit " XXXX '' to speak with the operator and the call immediately disconnected. The second time ( both occurrences on XXXX/XXXX/16 ) I was placed on hold for 15 minutes, then transferred to a line that rang for 10 minutes, then disconnected. We will be contacting an attorney to assist further as this level of non-communication is completely unacceptable.

Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC has requested a copy of my current full credit report. The credit report I 'm sending was pulled through the Federal Trade Commission which directed me to XXXX. I pulled the XXXX full report file # XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. You 'll see the last XXXX digit of my social security number, date of birth, address. Account information not pertaining to the Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC was redacted. However I did reveal that ALL of my accounts are in good standing.
From Page XXXX-XXXX You will see Ocwen Loan Servicing credit information which starts from XX/XX/XXXX thru the last reported date of XX/XX/XXXX. On page XXXX, the credit report shows the date the account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX as a joint account.

Complaint: I had a banking error that led to insufficient funds. Having being off work for 9 months. I paid the late fee 's and submitted the payment a few business days later. Then next month my ( bank Bill pay ) made the payment on time and the bank OCWEN.. said I cant submit this form of payment. I asked if I could play by Card they said for a fee ... then said I only send them money Via XXXX XXXX or Cashers Check or Certified Bank Check. This all costs additional money on top of my payment to the bank. I told them that I should not have to be charged extra money because they wo n't accept typical forms of payment. So on top of the returned check fee. I will have to spend additional XXXX dollars to wire them money every month.
They also said they would not except cash if I sent it to them.

Complaint: The XXXX moved our family from XXXX to XXXX XXXX of XXXX. We had purchased a home there in XXXX right before the housing market went down the toilet so we owed more than the house was worth. I got in touch with the VA program that would cover the difference in the short sale price and what we owed. The house has been on the market since XXXX XXXX. We did n't get an offer until XXXX XXXX. The offer and the VA would have covered everything we owed. Ocwen kept delaying and asking to resubmit info we already sent and then asked the buyer to pay more even though the realtor sent comparative listings proving that 's all the home was worth and they would be getting all their money. At that time we were not yet behind on any payments to them. The buyer walked because he was tired of waiting and did n't want to pay more. In XXXX we were no longer able to pay both that mortgage and our rent here and had already run up our credit cards. Another offer was submitted in XXXX for less than the first offer. After again much delay and multiple resubmissions of the same documents and sending me on a wild goose chase for a document they said I needed that turned out did n't exist and all they needed was a blank piece of paper ; they finally approved it. However the deadline they gave for the buyers to get the inspection and all their paperwork done scared them off because they did n't think they could get it all in and would then lose the inspection money. During this time they assigned me a relationship manager but I only spoke with them once ; all the other appointments were a different person calling every time. I called 5 times in one day trying to locate the nonexistent document and got disconnected the first 4 times and then finally getting transferred only to find out he needs us to fax him a blank piece of paper. No apology or anything in fact he blamed my realtor and said I should have been happy to even get to speak with a short sale person because they only talk to the realtor, not normal people. I repeatedly asked why the first offer got denied and the second offer for less got approved and got multiple answers from I do n't know to we do n't make the decision here to some ridiculous math formula that said they only approved over {$110000.00} which neither offer was. Two more offers were submitted in XXXX and again I had to resubmit their XXXX something page packet listing every penny we spend and sending a copy of every check from work and a letter from work giving my pay dates and my taxes again from XXXX that I already sent twice. They kept telling my realtor and I that they never got the taxes and pay stubs uploaded to XXXX and the disclosure statement had the wrong names on it. My realtor sent me a copy showing the correct names and that Ocwen was pulling up the statement from the last offer with the old buyers name on it. I sent everything to my realtor again and she uploaded everything together in a new document. That was XXXX XXXX. This morning ( XXXX XXXX ) my relationship manager called me and said they still do n't have any of the documents. I kept saying my realtor sent them again 10 days ago and he just kept saying no send them again we do n't have them. I kept insisting they do and he told me to stop repeating the same thing and I told him he keeps repeating that they do n't have them so I 'm repeating you do, what else do you want me to say? Finally I asked for a supervisor and he said he would transfer me to a short sale person because they can see if the documents got uploaded and he does n't have access to that. I asked him why he keeps telling me they do n't have them if he does n't even have access to see if they do? He said he 's just going off his notes. He transferred me and the short sale guy said everything was there. I 'm so frustrated and angry and our credit is ruined and I just want this nightmare to end.

Complaint: My tax returns have been audited by the IRS four times in the past seven years due to Ocwen Loan Servicing 's ineptitude in reporting my mortgage interest paid. Ocwen simply does not report my share of the property taxes and/or mortgage interest paid annually ; however, they do report my husband 's share, which is half. In every case, I submit a copy of our XXXX which clearly states my name as the payer/borrower and the amount of mortgage interest paid. Ocwen Loan Servicing consistently fails to report my share of the mortgage interest, and in XXXX cases, real estate taxes paid, to the IRS. This is not my first complaint to the CFPB regarding Ocwen ( CFPB File No. XXXX : treatment of Escrow payments ), but is the first of this nature. I left a voice mail message for XXXX XXXX, CEO of Ocwen, at XXXX due to my utter frustration with this entirely inept company. I can not understand how XXXX XXXX can continue to operate this company with such blatant disregard for simple math. My prior complaint with CFPB regarding the same company is still outstanding, as Ocwen does not seem to know how to apply an escrow payment to offset an increase in monthly mortgage payments. My frustrations are many ; my immediate frustration is my fourth IRS audit in XXXX years simply due to Ocwen 's blatant discrimination toward female co-mortgagees. It is disgusting. I anticipate subsequent IRS audit notifications and requisite responses due to the trigger that Ocwen is causing. This is unacceptable. The most recent IRS notification is for the year XX/XX/XXXX. That means I should expect another notice for XX/XX/XXXX, and again for XX/XX/XXXX once I file my returns. I am frustrated to the point of wanting to pay off my mortgage just to be rid of Ocwen, or force a transfer of servicing to another, competent servicer. The time spent in resolving so many issues over so many years is time I will never get back, nor will be compensated for. The escrow issue is still outstanding, and Ocwen is unable to explain how an overpayment to escrow does n't affect an increase to our monthly payment. Again, Ocwen, WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING??? Why are n't you reporting me as a co-borrower, co-payor to the IRS?

Complaint: As of XX/XX/XXXX my home loan was transferred by the XXXX XXXX XXXX to Ocwen. XXXX told me that I had to make my loan payment of {$3600.00} early prior to the transfer. They said that Ocwen would be notified and that the advance payment would be applied to my first payment with Ocwen. This did not happen. The transfer was botched and Ocwen insisted on requiring an escrow account for my loan even though in 30 years of making loan payments there had been no escrow requirement. Because of the extra amounts that they demanded for the escrow, they have claimed that my loan was paid late and was insufficient. I have written to CFPB about this and you were successful in limiting some of the penalties inflicted by Ocwen although they still maintain {$350.00} in late payment fees.
I would like to have this carry-forward charge removed. I would also like to remove the credit dings ( two late payment indications ) -- - XXXX by XXXX and XXXX by Ocwen for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have no late payments on my home mortgage record for over 30 years, and no late payments on any of numerous credit cards -- -only these two late payments inflicted by XXXX XXXX XXXX and Ocwen which occurred because of this loan sale that I did not request.
I have referenced this matter in case number XXXX and case number XXXX. Those have more background for this long standing big bank misbehavior.

Complaint: Since XX/XX/2016 I started a short sale process on an investment home I mortgaged through Ocwen Mortgage that 's also serviced by one their subsidiaries. I started the process early because my tenant notified me she decided not to renew her lease when it expired XX/XX/2016. Two days after the property was nationally listed, I received a decent offer from a national residential investor called XXXX XXXX. Incidentally, XXXX is a well-known enterprise within mortgagee/short sale circles. I was ecstatic. Moreover, I 'm almost certain Ocwen 's legal department is aware that XXXX is an established, stable, reputable corporate enterprise that has scattered offices throughout the US. Not to create a problem for my assigned Ocwen Short Sale Negotiator ( he 's great at what he does ) but I have issue with Ocwen 's short salel department demanding original signatures by XXXX XXXX members named on their articles of association. Such a request is XXXX near impossible to get from any higher echelon members in an expansive, regionalized corporation. Would it not be more efficient for everyone if Ocwen 's legal department would request actual signatures ( as opposed to e-signatures ) on " master '' document that could be renewed on a periodic basis and distributed to their negotiators to expedite this cumbersome, stressful process? It seems reasonable. Also, each week my negotiator requests new or updated documents to further delay the sale. Because of Ocwen 's inefficiencies and through no fault of my own, my house will soon go into foreclosure despite the fact that I have a buyer! The entire experience has been insane. Please help.
