Complaint: My mortgage lender is Ocwen Loan Servicing. My hazard insurance payment of {$1500.00} was due XXXX/XXXX/16 to XXXX Insurance Company. As of XXXX/XXXX/16, it has not been paid. My insurance agent has attempted several times to get an overnight payment. She was told that service was unavailable. I received an email from XXXX insurance that my coverage will be cancelled as of XXXX/XXXX/16 if they have not received a payment before then. I have now spent 45 minutes on XXXX/XXXX/16 on the phone speaking to XXXX representatives/supervisors. I was told that they see that the payment request was made on XXXX occasions but were cancelled due to computer errors? I have now requested an emergency overnight payment as of XXXX/XXXX/16, and while they tell me that this has been completed, they are unable to give me any confirmation number, email, letter, etc. This has to be illegal or at the very least it is unethical. I have never been late paying my mortgage payment and my money is in the escrow account to cover this. What do I need to do?

Complaint: We had a major flood. Insurance check made payable to us and OCWEN ( first mortgage holder ). They have money and told us to have an inspection when we are 35 % done. We did this. They received the inspection report in early XXXX. Ever since we have gotten a run around. Six weeks later the check still has not been sent to us. Our workers have threatened to stop work.

Complaint: We refinanced a loan we had with Ocwen loan servicing and in the payoff statement they included 60 days of interest. Only 39 days of interest were supposed to be charged since they received the payoff funds on XX/XX/2016.
I have attempted to get a resolution from Ocwen directly, but they do n't let me talk to a supervisor and they say they need more time to investigate. No one seems to understand how the interest on the mortgage loans works. This was n't an FHA loan for them to charge the complete month of interest.

Complaint: Currently there are four separate entities claiming to have standing on my " Note '' or my Deed of Trust. They all want different sums and two have attempted to foreclose on me simultaneously AFTER a complete discharge of the Note in a Chapter XXXX BK which was discharged in XXXX of 2014. Two are reporting on my credit report, two are not. I have sent well over 20 letters to ALL these entities asking them to please provide proof of standing and to date, all they have ever sent me is a copy of my Note and Deed of Trust which I already have. They have cost me XXXX of dollars in litigation fee 's and still to date, no one has come forth with any proof of ownership, and even though ALL mortgage debt was discharged in the bankruptcy, Ocwen and XXXX are still reporting me as owing each of them differing amounts ( $ XXXX & $ XXXX ) while sending me demand letters for over $ XXXX ( Ocwen ) and $ XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have sent multiple certified return receipt requests for proof and not a single one of them has complied. I want my NOTE returned as it was discharged and I want the clouded mess on my Deed of Trust cleaned up. And I want them to be overseen by as to their activities whereas I am concerned.

Complaint: I have been working with IndyMac turned to Ocwen since XXXX to process a deed-in-lieu on a property I owned. After much back and forth with the banks, my property was finally officially transferred/deed recorded from me to Ocwen in XXXX XXXX. Since then, I have followed up with Ocwen several times to receive a XXXX to file with my taxes. As an aside, they issued a XXXX in error in XXXX. Each time I contact Ocwen about a XXXX, they keep saying that they are still working on my file to close it out. It 's been 17 months since the deed has been transferred to them and I just called the other day and they told me that they were still working on it and may not have it done by the end of XXXX? The Mortgage Forgiveness and Debt Relief Act of XXXX provides a tax exemption for homeowners for " income '' resulting from debt forgiveness related to foreclosures, short sales and principal forgiveness of loans. That Act expires on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and therefore, if Ocwen does not process this deed-in-lieu it would prohibit/exclude me from exercising my protections and rights under that law. I am XXXX XXXX in the United States XXXX XXXX and had to release this property as a result of a permanent change of station as a result of my call to XXXX XXXX. I am serving this nation, and I have tried my best to work with Ocwen to resolve this matter, yet, this issue is not a priority to them since they will benefit from having me not qualify for relief under the law. I would hate to think that they are " sitting '' on my file so that I can not claim relief under the law. If that 's not the reason, they have very inefficient business practices that will ultimately have grave financial repercussions for me. I am disappointed and at my wits end. Once again, Ocwen claimed that they would try to expedite resolve, however after 3 years of going back and forth with Ocwen, I ca n't continue to believe what they tell me. I have filed XXXX XXXX complaints but they have an F rating anyway so that has not worked. I am now reaching out to the CFPB in hopes that you all can help me to get them to simply close out my deed-in-lieu file before XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.

Complaint: I applied for a loan modificaion when I was current on the loan. The current loan rate is 7.25 % interest which I 've had for many years. This is a rental property and I asked Ocwen if they would consider reducing my interest rate as the property is 41 percent owner occupied and one owner owns more than XXXX units. Ocwen offered me a even higher rate and sent me papers to sign if I wanted to proceed. I 've called and email mentioning I did not want their offer at a higher interest rate. Ocwen continues automatically drafting my account the monthly payment however they are placing them in " Suspense '' and charging me late fees. As of today I 'm two month behind in payments as they are holding my payments in Suspense. They also did a hard hit on my credit bureau file which they said they would not do. It appears they have every intention to forclose on my property and I 've tied to talk, reason and make them understand however the communicaiton with these people does not work. I need help getting this cleared up immeaditely. Thanks XXXX XXXX
