Complaint: Navy Federal Credit Union was sent a Cashier 's Check and mobile deposit cheques that have been dishonored and not processed, also said by XXXX an agent of the credit union, that the mobile deposits were returned. For what reason was asked, and was told that the federal reserve board and the institution were it came from said the check was invalid, proceeded to ask for proof of that and was denied. As for the Cashier 's Check, sent on XXXX/XXXX/16, was informed by XXXX that it was still processing, which should have been processed 2 to five business day for funds to be released. Through this period of trying to resolve the problem, a statement of account was asked to be sent to the credit union, it was complied with and sent through fax. After speaking with the agent, it was informed that the account is in overdraft of almost $ -XXXX and that it is frozen for no access. XXXX informed that the account will stay frozen which in no way able to perform a cure to the account.

Complaint: I received XXXX cards in the mail today, unsolicited, from Navy Federal Credit Union. These included a Visa credit card under my name, a Visa debit card under my name, and a Visa credit card under the name of a total stranger. I did not request these cards. I called Navy Federal and canceled the cards, but they could not tell me how or why I was sent these cards. I believe that sending unsolicited cards is not legal and seek your advice.

Complaint: I am a XXXX military Veteran trying to open an account with Navy Federal Credit Union. As per their email I received they requested identifying documents, which, as per their email, was sent to them. Every document, except my state drivers license, was not accepted, even though every document sent to them was in the list in the email from their Security Operations section! I sent my most recent Federal tax return ( not accepted ) ; my XXXX rental verification document ( not accepted ) ; etc. I called and the customer service agent said even though the documents requested were in the credit union 's emails to me - they were not accepted! He could not explain why they would ask for said documents and then reject them. I have included their original email asking for the documents in question : Thank you for sending in your requested document needed ; however, the driver 's license attached is too small for us to accept ( Send a larger photo ). In addition, the proof of address was not accepted ( Full document from list below ). Please resend your full and clear copy of your government issued photo ID and a different proof of address than attached that you used to open your account from the list below. You may send a clearer copy via email to XXXXXXXXXXXX. I later found that the credit check release was in the account paperwork and they did not inform me that they would be doing a credit check. I found this highly deceptive and has impacted my credit score.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2016 in the morning i contacted my navy federal credit union and asked them to realease my direct deposit early in my checking account ending in XXXX, she did just that i also asked her to transfer money into my finance account the amount of {$100.00} and my other checking account was in the negitative of {$13.00} i made that positive i than asked her to give me the balance and than transfer the money into my account ending in XXXX she did n't do that so i begin to swipe my card the next day on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and now i am in the negative of {$67.00}. i spoke to a manager name XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2016 and he credit both of my accounts {$20.00} and said i only owe {$180.00} in the XXXX account i put the money in that account on XXXX/XXXX/2016 i put {$200.00} in that account and that 's when i got the balance of {$47.00} that i owe based on the transations, i spoke to XXXX the supervisor on XX/XX/2016 and he did n't look forward into this matter he said he listen to the tape on both days and he would give me a call on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and i never received a call because he knew that he did n't look forward into this matter and sided with the young lady that was wrong and messed up both of my accounts.Now they are asking me to pay the money of {$67.00} i do n't think that i owe this money at all because of the neglect of the young lady not doing her job and transfering my money into my account ending in XXXX.

Complaint: I worked with Navy Federal to get a mortgage on my first house. During the entire process I felt bullied because of my age since I am very young to be purchasing a home. He neglected to tell me that I am required to have XXXX sources of credit history of 12 months, which he knew in the beginning I did not have. He requested an extension twice even though I submitted all the requested forms within 24 hours of his request. He never submit a final approval letter within thirty days of the original contract being executed and when he asked for yet another extension the seller denied costing me to lose my binder deposit. I do not feel it is fair for me to lose my money at the expense of my loan officer 's lack of communication. There were weeks where he did not even return an email or phone call. During the entire process he continued to tell me and my realtor that everything was going as planned which when he asked for another extension came as a shock. He made claims such as money laundering towards me because I mentioned I had cash savings at home from my recent graduation. He did not communicate from the beginning and now I am out a lot of money at his expense.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/2016, at Navy Federal Credit Union ( NFCU ) 's branch located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, VA XXXX, I submitted a request for XXXX bank wire transfer to a bank account in XXXX. I was told that it will take XXXX7 business day. It 's advertised on their website https : //www.navyfederal.orgXXXX. I 've been calling NFCU since XXXX/XXXX/2016 and I was being jerked around by them since then. On XXXX phone call dated XXXX/XXXX/2016, I was told by the representative that it 'll take XXXX8 business days. I told her it 's not true and requested to speak to her supervisorXXXX. He told me it 'll take XXXX4weeks. I replied that it 's ridiculous and they 're jerking me around. He promised to get back to me on the XXXX/XXXX/2016, XXXX that he will give me a call to update the status. He never called. Another XXXX XXXX called and claimed he was assigned to this case. NFCU is unable to locate the where about of my monies and claimed that they only let XXXX XXXX to handle the transactions. There 's no way to find out the status of the transfer, except to wait for their reply. I have n't heard from them this morning. I 'm upset with the entire incident as to how can a Credit Union 's only reply to their members on this incident as they had no idea where the monies are. I really hope the Bureau is able to assist me on this incident. Thanks for your time to read my email.

Complaint: It is my understanding that I have a right to pay towards the principal balance anytime and have the entire payment applied towards the principal balance assuming I have no arrears. I have navy federal refusing to apply XXXX dollars towards the principal that I paid 10 days before my actual payment was due which had interest taken out of it as well. XXXX different people including XXXX supervisors have told me the only way I can pay on the principal balance is make a second payment on the due date. I believe this to be illegal. please let me know.

Complaint: I applied for a loan on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. ( Navy FCU ) .I called to get my status and was told I was turned down. They suggested I apply for a credit card ( NFCU/XXXX ). I did so so. They did not tell me they would pull my credit again. Again I was turned down and was told by the person on the phone to apply for a loan consolidation. I did so and was not told they would pull my credit. Why should they? They had done it on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I ended up with XXXX hard pulls and no one had told me that I would get XXXX other pulls : XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX I called on XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I spoke to XXXX about the XXXX hard pulls. He said the notes the notes confirmed that I had given my permission XXXX times. I said I did not recall ever confirming XXXX hard pulls. He said he would check the tapes and get back to me. On XXXX XXXX, I called and spoke to XXXX who said XXXX told him he had referred the matter to the inquiries Dept. I waited and then called again to get an update and spoke to XXXX. She said the tapes showed I had agreed to hard pull credit checking. I said I did not remember doing so and to send me hard copies of the tapes. She said I would need a subpoena. I believe she is lying. Why would I agree to XXXX hard pulls 3 days in a row?
