Complaint: This debt is in regards to a medical bill for my minor son 's treatment through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$120.00}. My son went in for his XXXX XXXX appointment onXX/XX/XXXXand his service was not covered by my insurance company because he had exceeded the number of his wellness visits. I contacted my insurance company ( XXXX ) to file an appeal and was told that they would consider the appeal. The insurer agreed to pay the claim and reprocessed the payment. I notified XXXX that the payment was going to be reprocessed and paid. A couple weeks later they notified me that this payment had still not been paid and would be sent to collections. I subsequently called XXXX and they told me they would make a rush payment. Today, XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from Merchants Credit Guide indicating that I owed a bill to XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$120.00} that was sent to collections on XX/XX/XXXX. I informed them that this should 've been paid by my insurer and that I would call them back with further information. I contacted my insurer and was notified that this bill had been reprocessed and paid on XX/XX/XXXX through electronic transfer, record number XXXX in the amount of XXXX I proceeded to call Merchants and notify them to update their system. They told me I should also call XXXX and file an update with them. I 've tried to call XXXX to get some type of communication indicating this was sent in error and an apology. I have an excellent credit score which I 've worked hard to maintain and achieve do not wish to see it tarnished through an incompetent and careless billing department. I wish to see some type of sanctions as this callous and careless attitude should not go unpunished I can provide any further information that the CFPB shall require.

Complaint: I KEEP RECEIVING CALLS FROM XXXX EXT XXXX. THEY ARE RUDE AND THEY ARE LIARS. IVE TOLD THEM I SHARE MY CELL PHONE AND THEY HAVE LEFT 4 VOICEMAILS SO FAR STATING THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS. MY CELL PHONE DOESNT IDENTIFY ME BY NAME SO WHY WOULD THEY SAY THAT. I WANT ALL CALLS TO STOP AS I WILL FILE A LAWSUIT FOR FDCPA VIOLATIONS IF THEY CALL AGAIN. Complaint: Hello, I was out of work for a year. I paid for a service for coverage for this account. They did not honor that coverage. They have now sent my account to a collection agency, without fairly deducting payment hat should have been paid. Therefore, they have ruined my credit and also applied unfeasible. The balance on he account should be much lower.

Complaint: Recently, a company named Merchants Credit Guide started reporting a collection account on my credit report. I have no idea who or what this is. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act states that a collection agency is required to provide a 30-day notice to dispute, prior to an account such as this be reported on my credit report. I received no such notice, and was not provided with the opportunity to dispute this debt, prior to this company reporting it on my credit report.

Complaint: I submitted this complaint before but it was the wrong company. Several months ago a woman named XXXX XXXX contacted me about an account that was with closed, or paid off, in fact I never received any paperwork, I paid XXXX a month, then my account was hacked and I become ill. She began calling again. XX/XX/XXXX my father XXXX and a short time later she called again. this time she said I owe XXXX dollars, adding to it instead of subtracting the money I paid. Then she said it was to bad about my dad, but last time you said your account was hacked, she was really rude and intimidating. I hung up and started to cry. She did not believe me that was obvious. I sent the company a copy of my father 's XXXX XXXX to prove I was not lying. I do n't even know what this money is for. And this XXXX XXXX is rude and intimidating.

Complaint: I, Called XXXX XXXX Starting on XX/XX/XXXX to resolve a debt that I owed in the amount of {$320.00}. this company could not find my account. I informed them that it was in collections, they then informed me to call the collections agency that they no longer had that account. I then called the collection agency and they could not find the account. I had a order number that I gave the collection agency and they were able to find my account. The collection agency informed me that they returned the account back to XXXX XXXX. I then called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and informed them that the collection agency says they no longer have that account. I gave XXXX XXXX my file Number once again and they were able to find the account. I asked if i should pay them, XXXX XXXX or the Collection Agency they said that I could pay either one. before agreeing to pay i asked the associate that I spoke to " Once payment is made in full will the charge off be removed from my credit report and he answered yes. I then asked him if he was sure he repeated yes '' he assured me as soon as there office received full payment that the charge off would be removed from both credit Bureau 's i sent a cashier 's check in the amount of {$320.00} to Merchants ' Collection Agency. I then called XXXX XXXX back after payment was made, spoke with a supervisor and he said that they would not be removing the charge off from my credit report. He said " the he could but he would not because it is not company policy ''. I informed him of the conversation that i had with one of their associates and i gave him that person name. I explained to him that that was unlawful what they did to me. He then apologized and said he was going to have a coaching/training meeting. This is Larceny by Conversion and this company reported that the account was paid but refuse to removed the charge off from my credit report

Complaint: I went to the XXXX XXXX at the XXXX XXXX Hospital after I had fallen on an ice covered pavement at a XXXX XXXX . I was taken to the hospital by my fianc in her car. I told the staff that I did not have insurance and I had a continuing Workman 's Comp Case when I was admitted. I did not have any insurance, however, all of my doctors worked at the Hospital and I was treated then released a day or two later. I received a bill from the hospital with fees for all the doctors, XXXX , XXXX , XXXX , XXXX 's and the XXXX service from the that visit and I contacted the hospital to find out why I was being billed when I had t he Workman 's Co mp Case which was on going, which, they had all the billing info for. The hospital financial department called me back and said they would correct the billing and apply whatever was not covered to charity or financial assistance. A few weeks later a rep from XXXX Hospital Financial Aid De partment called me and said I qualified for 100 % payment by the department and all my bills with the hospital including all doctor bills, XXXX service, XXXX XXXX , XXXX , XXXX , XXXX 's and any other bills from my visit in XXXX XXXX to the hospital were removed or paid by them or XXXX out. In XXXX XXXX I received the first notice of delinquent bills in collections from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX , XXXX , IL XXXX as to a bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for a doctor 's bill from the XXXX stemming from my XXXX visit in XXXX XXXX at XXXX Hospital. I immediately called Merchants Credit Guide Co at XXXX and explained to their representative that that bill was part of a Workers Comp Case that was not settled or was part of the charity approval from the XXXX Hospital. I gave that representative my attorneys ' info too. The representative fro m Merchants Credit Guide Co became rude and said, " no these are your bills and you must pay them. '' I said, no they are not and to cease and desist any further collection activity or any further contact to my home or I would take whatever legal recourse I could and or form a complaint with the FTC . Merchants Credit Guide Co. has continued their attacks on me and my finance in attempts to collect these debts ever since then and I am tried of this abuse. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has been reporting this to all credit bureaus, during their constant illegal assaults, illegal collections activities against me since the original letter I received from them back in XXXX of XXXX . I have sent them by mail, faxed them the statement from the hospital, formerly disputed their bills in writing a nd Merchants Credit Guide Co denies they received anything from me, continues to report falsely to the credit bureaus and continues to illegally pursue collection efforts for these bills that were all from my emergency room visit in XXXX of XXXX to XXXX Hospital. As of writing this today, X/XX/XXXX , I again contacted Merchants Credit Guide Co. spoke with their representative who said his name was " XXXX '' and explained all of this, AGAIN, and AGAIN was told they had no record of any prior contact from myself to Merchants Credit Guide Co which is just a lie. My account number wit h Merchants Credit Guide Co. is # XXXX . PLEASE HELP.
