Complaint: I have called at least 3 different time over this matter. XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and today XX/XX/XXXX, in regards of a land of amendment to take off flood insurance on my property. They kept telling me that they would get back to me with a response within 24-48 hrs each time I called and failed to do so, I continued to call and today they had said the reason why they would not be able to approve and pass the land of amendment that shows I'm not required to carry flood insurance was because my property is still showing in map zone with FEMA and that I would need to contact them with the matter so that it does not show on the map although they have the documentation needed stating it was not required and they were done helping me. I got ahold of FEMA and they said that it does not matter what the map shows. What " trumps '' that was the map of ammendment, that is the deciding factor of all. Once you have that, there should be no reason they will not take the flood insurance off. I'm using all my resources and trying to get this resolved the best of my ability and I'm currently stuck.

Complaint: XXXX of 2019 's mortgage was paid with XX/XX/2019 's mortgage, occurring in a late payment. However, we had previously talked about this payment arrangement with HomePoint Financial ( mortgage company ) and they were aware of this occurring prior too. When speaking with HomePoint they assured me because my account was in good standing and this was a direct result of my service in the military, that the late fee would be waived and we would not be penalized. However, it was still reported to my credit after I was assured that it would not be.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I was laid off from my job. Having trouble finding work I applied for Unemployment Mortgage Assistance through Keep Your Home California. I was approved a few months later. I did not find employment until XX/XX/XXXX. This gap in employment put me in a big financial hardship. When I called Keep Your Home California to inform them I had started a new job they informed me that I still had 3 months of assistance and if I wanted to use tit. I of course said yes since I didnt have enough time at my work yet to make my mortgage payments. This would have meant my first payment would have been in XX/XX/XXXX.
In XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Home Point Financial my mortgage company that they did not receive payment for XXXX. So I immediately called Keep Your Home California and the person who help me over the phone said that they made a mistake and my assistance actually ended in XXXX. I now was behind one month of my {$3600.00} mortgage payment. I immediately paid my XXXX mortgage and began to save up and cut expenses so that I can pay the amount I was behind. When i called Home Point to tell them what happened and the operator said they would have a manager call me to arrange some assistance to give me time to pay the balance that was not paid. I never got that call. I continued to pay my monthly mortgage of {$3600.00} I called the customer support line again in XX/XX/XXXX and the agent was supposed to split the missed payment into 4 different payments each month in addition to my monthly mortgage so that I may be able to pay it without having any negative reporting. This didnt happen either. I called again in late XXXX - early XXXX and the agent helping me said that they did not see any notes of my previous call or arrangement and that all they could to is split up my payment in 2. I agreed to this as well. But before my next payment I was able to save enough money to pay the balance in XX/XX/XXXX.
I ended up paying {$7300.00} which is a large amount of money for my family and I. Since I am the only bread winner it took longer than anticipated to come up with that amount of money. What i was not aware of that my payment in XXXX was actually to cover XXXX and all my payments from XXXX - XXXX were always for the previous month making me have multiple months late and it affecting my credit report immensely negatively.

Complaint: My Mortgage company did not renew my home insurance policy despite my home insurance company sending them the renewal statement including the amount. I pay into escrow and has never been late on my mortgage. I did not switch mortgage companies nor the insurance company from the year prior. They brought a force placed policy in which it is very expensive. I was not aware that my insurance was not renewed, because my mortgage payment did not increase. Can you please assist with this matter. I have reached out to my mortgage company and they are telling me it is to late because the policy has been in effect for almost a year now.
