Complaint: I had a lease with Gm Financial and I was 5 payments late which actually ended the lease they charged the vehicle off stating that I owed XXXX that is the total value of the car and exceeded the XXXX dollars that I may owe and that should be realized when thay send me my final bill. How could they charge the vehicle off and have possesion of the vehicle.

Complaint: I have repeatedly attempted to resolve this issue with this creditor GM financial. This company is well aware that this account is a result of identity theft and continues to collect and report this fraudulent account on my credit report. I have contacted this company, disputed this, contacted the credit bureau numerous times, and this company have repeatedly defamed my character. As of today this account still remains in my credit file even tho Ive advised them of the identity theft and provided documentation. I have provided suspect information. Identified the woman XXXX XXXX in a line up at the police department, sent the police report to the credit bureaus as well as this company GM Financial and this company still is violating the law. In XXXX of 2019 this company sent this fraudulent account to a collection agency still attempting to collect on an identity theft account ... I am reporting this company and filing an official complaint as this company will be held accountable if they continue to report this account in my consumer file ...

Complaint: GM Financial is reporting my account late for payments in XX/XX/2019. I have not been late on my car loan in XX/XX/2019. There was one incident where I had a typo on the information on their website and I called them to correct it and no one was able the verify the inputted data so I reentered it. There has been times in the past where GM got double payments because I thought the info was incorrect and resubmitted because they stalled on debiting the payment. GM Financial needs to update my credit report immediately. I am not late for XX/XX/XXXX because it has not been 30 days past XX/XX/XXXX which is my payment due date which is current. I paid them for XX/XX/XXXX. I want my account information updated with all the credit reporting agencies immediately. It is a huge disservice to me as their customer to have to go through this.

Complaint: We were looking for a new car at XXXX XXXX GMC located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, FL. We never came to an agreed price for the vehicle or our trade so how could they possibly put through a loan app. not knowing how much we ; d need? Without our permission or knowledge they sent out multiple " Indirect Loan '' inquiries. We are now receiving letters of rejection from XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX knows who else 's rejection is headed here! They have messed up our credit history and the wrong information now needs to be corrected. They had no business doing this without notifying us. We have our own banks, we'd never have dealt with one of theirs. We've filed complaints with the XXXX, GMC, XXXX and now the CFPB. The sales person told us she was going to check our credit rating not apply for a {$27000.00} loan for a used car with a sticker price of {$21000.00}!!

Complaint: The early part of XXXX GM financial mailed out and emailed out information that their website would be undergoing a total reconstruction that their website basically would be down for approximately a month or so they also sent out letters saying that the website would be a big inconvenience to GM financials customers A lot of the emails was headline providing the service you expect preparing for service outages and also service is servicing your account is our highest priority they told us initially in the emails that the website would be down for only about 30 days but it was down possibly about 7 to 8 months. And also it was reporting in accurate balances on my account but GM financial when I would call them they would give me an accurate balances which I paid on time the website showed that I made the payments and also showed an accurate totals of accounts when they finally updated their website it showed that I was behind on my account and I was 30 to 60 days past due due When the website was finally updated and they reported it to the credit bureaus I would also like to add that they didnt report any activity of credit reporting for approximately eight months which is a clear violation of the fair credit act when you call their customer service and tell them about the issues that youre having with their credit reporting they tell you that they cant help you in any kind of way due to fear credit reporting I went through my bank accounts financial statements in it show that in those nine months I made the payments but GM financial deals with XXXX XXXX to process their payments and XXXX XXXX processed their payments Incorrectly sometimes taking 3 to 5 days for the website to update I may make a payment and it doesnt update for up to five days which they are giving people 30 day late and youre only late 27 to 28 days but just because XXXX XXXX doesnt process the payment they are reporting in accurate reporting on Consumers credit reports. I would also like to add that all three credit bureaus are reporting 30 and 60 day late and some of the months on this account shows that no data available is reporting from GM financial but when I look at my GM financial account and pull up my statements the information is on GM financial statements but they are not reporting it to the credit bureaus In the month of XX/XX/XXXXI have 3 to 4 no data available .... 1 60 day late. 4 30 late All in the year of XXXX the same months that their website was being updated the website was reporting accurate payments been made I have proof from my bank statements and proof from XXXX XXXX emails whats the payments was made GM financial doesnt offer any help to fix any credit reports or any false reporting due to their mistakes reporting to credit bureaus I would also like to add that this has just happened in the month ofXX/XX/XXXX I made the payment onXX/XX/XXXXin on XX/XX/XXXX it doesnt show that the payment was made but they set a 30 day late over to the credit bureaus that I was 30 days late because their system hasnt updated yet thats what I was told by customer service I feel that they are in clear violation of the fair credit reporting act

Complaint: Back in XX/XX/2018 I went to finance my first car. I went to a dealership and authorized them to run a couple credit lender inquiries in the local area. I had no prior credit, and used a co signer to help get me accepted for a loan on a vehicle. While on XXXX XXXX I noticed there are 9 hard credit inquiries that I had no idea even took place. I would like them removed prior to the two years from my credit report so my score will be better. In the end, I chose one lender which is not even listed on the inquiries below. Complaint: On Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX XXXX to make a payment for XXXX 's payment as it was due before XX/XX/XXXX on Monday as it would be consider late. The lady said I qualified for a payment deferment and I said great and next payment would be due XX/XX/XXXX. The lady mentioned she completed for XX/XX/XXXX and took payment for the interest. I had ask the lady that if my payment is due on the XXXX would it be considered late. She said no since I did the deferment on the XXXX and took payment for the interest ( which came out of my account on the XXXX ). On the XX/XX/XXXX I received a alert from XXXX XXXX that I was 30 days pass due on my XXXX. I called right away to XXXX XXXX and asked them why this was done. They said they see that the deferment was done on the XXXX but the interest payment was taken out after the due date so it's considered late. They said to dispute with their department and I did but they did not see a dispute???? I asked the lady who made the payment deferment and she assured me since it was done on XX/XX/XXXX it would not ( which I trusted since it was before the date needed to be made ). This is an error on XXXX and customer service rep who seems as they did not know their process on payment deferment. Or I would of just made my payment on XX/XX/XXXX if that was the case. Please remove lates for all three credit reports.

Complaint: As of late XXXX of XXXX, I have been contacted repeatedly regarding my account being late by GM Financial. I was advised that the amount paid on XX/XX/XXXX was credited toward some alleged balance on our prior lease. This payment was made ( actually overpaid ) for XX/XX/XXXX on my current lease. I was advised that I still owed the amount for my current lease and all applicable fees. I was advised by the GM financial rep that the payment made on XX/XX/XXXX was applied to " excess wear and tear '', which I had not been previously informed of nor had I signed off on any acknowledgement of said alleged damage. The GM financial rep advised me to contact my local dealership where the transaction was performed, which I did. On XX/XX/XXXX, a representative from my local XXXX dealership advised me that he had spoken with GM Financial and found that not only was there not an account balance on my previous lease, but that I had overpaid on this lease. This was acknowledged by your company when you issued me a refund for overpayment on previous lease on XX/XX/XXXX. I made several follow up calls to GM Financial, beginning on XX/XX/XXXX, regarding whether or not the refund that I received on my previous lease was part of the payment that was made in XX/XX/XXXX. I was initially advised on XX/XX/XXXX when I spoke with an operator named XXXX and and XX/XX/XXXX when I spoke with a female operator named XXXX that the refund that I had received in XXXX of XXXX had nothing to do with the current lease and that the payment would be applied correctly to my account " as soon as a manager approved it ''. I continued to check my online statement and found that not only was the " missing '' payment not applied, but that they continued to assess late fees to my account. I continued contacting GM Financial to attempt to rectify this issue. I made calls to GM Financial on XXXX, speaking with XXXX and also on XXXX in conjunction with making my payments during those months to inquire as to the status of this situation. I was told in the XXXX phone call that I would be responsible for the full balance, which I disagreed with. During the XXXX phone call, I was informed that I would be able to pay the " missing '' payment, but that all of the late fees and charges would be eliminated. I gave this some time to process and I did not see any change in my balance. I then contacted GM Financial after discovering that they placed a 30 day late payment on my credit report. I called and spoke with a GM financial rep named XXXX on XXXX. XXXX initially advised me that she didn't think that the refund had anything to do with the late payment or the refund, but then advised that it did appear as though the misplaced payment was contained in the refund that sent in XX/XX/XXXX, which was contrary to the first 2 representatives that I spoke with in XXXX. I asked XXXX about the late fees and charges and she stated that I was liable for the charges, to which I advised her that I would not be paying them based on this odyssey that we'd been involved in. XXXX advised me that she would consult with a manager and call me back on XXXX. As of XXXX XXXX on XXXX, I have not received any contact from GM Financial.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I called GM Financial and spoke with a representative named XXXX, to discuss how to XXXX out my XX/XX/2019 bill. She put me on a brief hold to do some research on my bill. She also told me to pay {$570.00}, of which I immediately did. After I paid the amount in full of {$570.00}, with my visa debit card, XXXX then told me that I was fine until XX/XX/2019. On XX/XX/19 I received a bill for {$570.00}, although the car payment is {$460.00}. I then called GM financial and spoke with XXXX a servicing specialist and XXXX a supervisor regarding the issue. I asked if I could hear the recorded call from when I spoke to the representative XXXX on XX/XX/19 to verify the amount the representative quoted me of {$570.00}, in addition to her stating that my bill was paid in full to XXXX out my balance and I was fine until XX/XX/19, after paying the amount quoted. I was told by both representatives that calls could not be recorded in PA. I then asked about the notes the representative took during our call, and was informed that she did not take any notes regrading to the matter. XXXX, supervisor at GM Financial refused to further the investigation, although he finally took notes after I spoke with him with frustrated ; he also refused to speak with the representative XXXX regarding the matter, although I questioned about it. XXXX was very arrogant and stated that I was 17 days in rears of funds owed and refused to adjust the amount of {$100.00} which is claimed owed. I called to get my payments on track with GM Financial and XXXX out my account ; I feel deceived and violated as a customer
